Chapter 287: The Plans of Various Major Forces

This massive tremor awakened all forces in the Central Region, both overt and hidden.

The Central Region's forces are divided into three tiers: Forbidden Grounds, Overlord Forces, and Super Forces. Other first-rate and second-rate forces are too numerous to mention.

As for the Forbidden Ground, it is a force in the Central Region that spans dozens of provinces, named Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground. No one knows when this Forbidden Ground came into existence.

Because the oldest historical records of the Xuantian Continent contain this sentence: Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground is an existence that transcends the Xuantian Continent, unknowable, and its purpose of existence is unknown. It does not care about the life or death of the Xuantian Continent, as if it is a world unto itself.

No one knows what horrors truly lie within the Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground, but Law Enforcement Hall and Corpse Yin Sect once jointly investigated it. At the cost of countless fallen experts, they only managed to explore one percent of the entire Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground.

The reason why Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground is well-known to the world is because Enlightenment Tea Leaves and emperor heart fruit both flow out from Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground. There are always some lucky individuals who can bring out good things from it.

As for Overlord Forces, there are three in the Central Region: Law Enforcement Hall, Corpse Yin Sect, and Xuantian Divine Dynasty.

These three Overlord Forces have divided the entire 1,800 provinces of the Central Region, but the forces within are complex and have reached a state of irreconcilable conflict.

As for Super Forces, they are one Association, one Pavilion, one Pavilion, and one Hall. They are all existences that the three major Overlord Forces are scrambling to win over.

The Association is the Xuantian Merchant Guild, presided over by Shang Batian, a Nine Revolution Great Emperor.

The first Pavilion is Tianbao Pavilion, presided over by Tianbao Daoist, a Nine Revolution Great Emperor.

The second Pavilion is Tianji Pavilion, presided over by Heavenly Mystery Child, a Nine Revolution Great Emperor.

The Hall is the Dark Night Hall, presided over by the Dark Night Empress, a Nine Revolution Great Emperor.

Why Ouyang Jin initially wanted to form a marriage alliance with Shang Luoyun was actually to win over the Xuantian Merchant Guild, to serve as his trump card for becoming the Hall Master of the Law Enforcement Hall.

The Xuantian Merchant Guild and Tianbao Pavilion are actually in a competitive relationship. The reason why Shang Batian agreed to the marriage alliance with Ouyang Jin was because Tianbao Pavilion was gradually encroaching upon the Xuantian Merchant Guild's market, aiming for a monopoly.

Originally, the Xuantian Merchant Guild and Tianbao Pavilion were evenly matched, but in the past century or so, Tianbao Pavilion has been as if divinely aided. During this period, it directly encroached upon forty percent of the Xuantian Merchant Guild's market in the Central Province, with shops blooming everywhere.

As for the Xuantian Restaurant in Shang Province of the North Region, it is an industry of the Dark Night Hall. On the surface, it is a restaurant, but in reality, it is a place for gathering information.

With a loud explosion, all the powerful figures of various forces, except for Barren Ancient Forbidden Ground, opened their eyes and extended their gazes directly to the explosion area, all gasping in cold air.

In the Xuantian Divine Dynasty, the Xuantian Divine Lord said in shock,

"Law Enforcement Hall has suffered a great change, with heavy casualties, and has sealed its mountains to avoid the world."

"What kind of force possesses such capability? My Xuantian Divine Dynasty must win them over."

"Miao Yi, as the Divine Maiden of the Xuantian Imperial Dynasty, your status is second only to mine. Go to the Law Enforcement Hall immediately. You must use all your power to win over the other party, without fail."

Miao Yi respectfully said,

"Miao Yi obeys the command."

.......

In the Corpse Yin Sect, the Grand Elder of the Corpse Yin Sect came out of seclusion due to this explosion.

"It's truly a wonder of the world that the Law Enforcement Hall Six Ancestor to Ninth Ancestor have all fallen!"

"Who has such great capability? Could it be the mysterious force that annihilated the North Region Law Enforcement Hall and Corpse Yin Sect that made a move?"

"Zhulóng, you are the Senior Brother of the Corpse Yin Sect. Go quickly to the Law Enforcement Hall to investigate the situation. If there's an Opportunity, bring back the bodies of the Law Enforcement Hall Six Ancestor to Ninth Ancestor."

"Remember, do not alert the enemy."

At this moment, Zhulóng said,

"Zhulóng respectfully obeys the Grand Elder's command."

.......

In Tianbao Pavilion, the Grand Elder, Tianbao Daoist, was startled awake from his seclusion, then revealed a look of ecstasy.

Then he came to the Myriad Treasure Pavilion's deliberation hall.

"All Tianbao Pavilion Elders, come quickly to the deliberation hall."

Soon, nearly a thousand Emperor Realm powerhouses gathered together.

Tianbao Daoist said word by word,

"Law Enforcement Hall has suffered a major blow and has sealed its mountains. Without the obstruction of Law Enforcement Hall, now is our best Opportunity to encroach upon the Xuantian Merchant Guild."

"I order that, regardless of the means, all branches of the Xuantian Merchant Guild in various provinces be completely encroached upon. From now on, there will only be my Tianbao Pavilion in the Xuantian Continent, and no Xuantian Merchant Guild."

Hearing this, everyone was extremely excited.

"We respectfully obey Old Ancestor's decree."

.......

Inside Tianji Pavilion, the Divine Calculator, the Lord of the North Region Tianji Pavilion, sat quietly beside Heavenly Mystery Child.

The Divine Calculator recounted everything that had happened in the North Region. Heavenly Mystery Child just sat there quietly, not saying a word, not doing anything, just sitting there meditating, and waited for ten days like this.

The Divine Calculator was on pins and needles at this moment, not knowing what Heavenly Mystery Child intended to do.

Suddenly, a young boy wearing a Daoist robe stood outside the door and respectfully said,

"Old Ancestor, the Heavenly Mystery Fortune Instrument has undergone a major change. The Luck of the Law Enforcement Hall suddenly dimmed, but the Xuantian Merchant Guild suddenly showed signs of purple Qi coming from the east yesterday. Its Luck is now like a rainbow, clearly surpassing the three major Overlord Forces."

"Also, the ancient established force, Divine Pill Sect, has been spreading like wildfire in the past year."

Heavenly Mystery Child nodded upon hearing this.

"Go down. Remember to block all perception of the North Region from the Heavenly Mystery Fortune Instrument, otherwise it will bring great disaster to my Tianji Pavilion."

Then Heavenly Mystery Child said to the Divine Calculator,

"Now you know why I kept you, don't you? The Xuantian Merchant Guild's Luck is like a rainbow now. A major event is bound to happen soon, and it is very likely related to Shang Luoyun."

The Divine Calculator asked in confusion,

"Old Ancestor, why are you so sure it's Shang Luoyun and not someone else? Why don't you make a divination?"

Heavenly Mystery Child shook his head.

"Divining Karma always incurs the suffering of backlash, and now the Shang family's Luck is like a rainbow. If I rashly divine, I will certainly end up with a demise of body and Dao."

"Moreover, how can there be unprovoked Karma in this world? When you divined for Shang Luoyun, you already formed Karma. This Karma still needs to be resolved by you. Go."

.......

Inside the Dark Night Hall, the Dark Night Empress was listening to Liu Weiyi's report.

"You said that both the North Region Law Enforcement Hall and Corpse Yin Sect were annihilated, and that Shang Luoyun has an unclear relationship with the Qin Family?"

"Yes, Your Majesty. Those two Qin Family members are only Saint King Cultivators, but they have Nine Revolution Great Emperor Cultivators protecting their Dao behind them, which shows how terrifying the power behind them is."

"Moreover, I investigated and found that Shang Luoyun returned to the Qin Family with those two. I speculate that Shang Luoyun will likely marry into the Qin Family."

The Dark Night Empress said,

"It seems the news I received is correct. Azure Dragon Pavilion annihilated the Xuantian Merchant Guild, and eight hundred Great Emperors were instantly killed with one move."

"The Law Enforcement Hall Six Ancestor, Seventh Ancestor, and Eighth Ancestor have all fallen as well. It seems the Xuantian Merchant Guild has obtained a great Opportunity, and it is very likely related to Shang Luoyun."

"Liu Weiyi, you have a good relationship with Shang Luoyun. Immediately take heavy gifts to the Xuantian Merchant Guild and try to gather some useful information."

"If the sealing of the Law Enforcement Hall this time is indeed related to the Xuantian Merchant Guild, do everything possible to befriend the Xuantian Merchant Guild."]}
