11: It's a dream, go to sleep.

"Can you... hold me and help me get warm?"

The voice was pitiful, which, combined with her disheveled clothes, her current weak and helpless appearance, and the sense of taboo brought by their teacher-student relationship, formed a charm far more impactful than straightforward seduction.

Lin Luo's breath hitched, and his movements involuntarily slowed by half a beat. This evil entity actually knew how to use Kirisu Mafuyu's usual image and identity to create a contrast and attack one's mental defenses!

"Aaaah! Don't use my voice to say such things! Don't face him like that!!!"

At the same time, within Lin Luo's Spiritual Perception, Kirisu Mafuyu's Soul let out an even more ashamed and desperate scream. She could clearly "see" what posture and tone she was using to speak to her student; this extreme sense of shame made her Soul tremble, almost causing her to faint.

On the outside, it was a teacher's pitiful "plea for help" to her student under the control of the filth; on the inside, it was Kirisu Mafuyu's Soul screaming in a collapse of extreme shame.

Lin Luo's eyes sharpened, knowing he must not fall into the opponent's rhythm. He avoided the arm seeking an embrace and held his fingers together like a sword. With spiritual power condensing, he no longer hesitated. A purer and sharper force struck directly at her smooth forehead as he shouted in a low voice:

"evil spirit, how dare you mess with the mind! Get out!"

spiritual power, like the break of dawn, pierced straight through! That cold existence let out a suppressed cry of pain, and its state of possession immediately fluctuated violently. Kirisu Mafuyu's body trembled in pain, her face alternating between a weak expression and a struggling, hideous contortion.

"It... it hurts... Lin Luo, why are you doing this to me..." It was still trying to maintain that pitiful facade.

"Lin Luo! Don't listen to it! Quick! Do it now!!!"

After an unknown amount of time, Kirisu Mafuyu's consciousness finally floated up slowly from a heavy darkness.

The first thing she felt was a soreness and weakness all over her body, as if it had been taken apart and reassembled. Her head was incredibly heavy, her throat dry, and every breath carried a burning sensation, exactly like having a severe case of the flu.

She struggled to open her heavy eyelids, and her blurry vision gradually focused. What came into view was a familiar ceiling—this was her bedroom. She was lying in her own bed, wearing comfortable and clean pajamas, with the quilt tucked tightly around her.

(What... happened to me?)

Her memories were like a broken videotape, filled with chaotic and surreal fragments. She only remembered being in the bathroom... then a sudden, irresistible chill that went deep into her bones... and later... some blurry and face-reddening scenes flashed through her mind: she seemed to have... said something to Lin Luo in an extremely shameful tone... and even... tried to get close to him? Then there was a warm light, and the pain and... relief of something cold being forcibly stripped from her body?

(Was that a dream? It's too absurd...)

She shook her still-groggy head vigorously, trying to dispel these unrealistic "dreams." But the lingering feeling of extreme physical weakness and the mysteriously clean and tidy room, which seemed to have been specially organized, seemed to be silently telling a different story.

(Was it Lin Luo... who sent me back to my room? Then my clothes... was it also him...?)

As soon as this thought emerged, her cheeks instantly burned as if on fire. She subconsciously gripped the corner of the quilt and buried half her face in it, revealing only a pair of ice-blue eyes misty with weakness and embarrassment.

(Impossible... I must be overthinking... that was just a dream... but...)

An uncontrollable trace of doubt about Lin Luo rose in her heart. That student, who always had a calm expression and excellent grades, seemed to have shown some extraordinary and reassuring sense of power in that chaotic and blurry "dream." What exactly was going on?

Just as her mind was in a mess, trying to piece together these fragmented clues, faint footsteps and... a subtle, familiar scent that made her feel inexplicably at ease came from outside the bedroom door.

He was here.

Kirisu Mafuyu immediately closed her eyes, subconsciously pretending to be asleep, but her heartbeat involuntarily quickened. A mixture of weakness, shame, doubt, and a trace of dependence that she hadn't even noticed herself intertwined and spread in her heart.

Lin Luo carried a bowl of steaming porridge and walked into the bedroom quietly. The fresh fragrance of the white porridge quietly dispelled the remaining faint smell of medicine in the room. He looked at the figure on the bed wrapped up so only a few strands of silver hair were visible, and a flash of realization crossed his eyes—that overly stiff sleeping posture and slightly trembling eyelashes had already given her away.

"Mafuyu-sensei," he placed the bowl of porridge on the nightstand, his voice gentle but firm, "get up and have some porridge before sleeping."

The body under the quilt visibly stiffened. After several seconds, Kirisu Mafuyu slowly pulled back the quilt. Her gaze flickered, not daring to meet his, and an unnatural flush appeared on her pale face—it was hard to tell if it was from the fever or something else. Her fingertips trembled as she took the bowl, almost failing to hold it steady.

Lin Luo supported the rim of the bowl at the right time, as if just helping out. The moment their fingertips touched, Kirisu Mafuyu pulled her hand back sharply as if burned, her head hanging even lower.

"Drink it while it's hot," Lin Luo said normally as he sat down by her bed. "I added some ginger shreds to dispel the cold."

This flat tone instead made Kirisu Mafuyu even more restless. She took small sips of the porridge. As the warm rice soup slid down her esophagus and into her stomach, it brought a strange warmth that seemed to seep into her entire body, even the lingering chill in her bones was dispelled bit by bit. She couldn't help but quietly look up at the boy beside her.

He was looking down, tidying the corner of the quilt she had wrinkled, his profile looking exceptionally peaceful in the morning light. There seemed to be too many mysteries surrounding this student—the blurry memory fragments from last night, his perfectly timed care now, and this bowl of porridge with its overly immediate effects... "Mr. Lin Luo..." she finally couldn't help but speak, her voice still raspy from the illness.

Lin Luo looked at the lingering confusion and bashfulness in her eyes and spoke naturally, his tone carrying a convincing frankness: "Mafuyu-sensei, don't overthink it. You just had an episode of low blood sugar and fainted in the bathroom." He pointed to the porridge bowl on the nightstand that hadn't been cleared away yet. Simultaneously, an extremely subtle ripple of spiritual power accompanied his words, quietly drifting into Kirisu Mafuyu's not-yet-fully-awake mind.

"I was worried when I heard the noise, so I took the liberty of coming in. Most of the blurry things you felt before were hallucinations caused by your body being too weak," his voice was gentle and had a strange piercing quality, "just like a... rather special dream. Once you're awake, it's best to forget it."

The explanation was reasonable, and that subtle spiritual suggestion was like a hypnotic whisper, constantly reinforcing the perception of "it's a dream" in her subconscious. Kirisu Mafuyu stared at him blankly, her eyes dazed for a moment, and her originally tense mind relaxed unconsciously. She instinctively touched her still somewhat weak body. low blood sugar... fainting... this was indeed a condition she had a history of. Thinking back to those "dream" fragments, they were so bizarre and face-reddening... if it was just a dream, it seemed to make sense?

A look of relief appeared on her pale face, mixed with a bit of unspeakable embarrassment, as she whispered, "I-I see... I've caused you trouble again." The intense sense of shame generated by the contents of the "dream" seemed to be quietly smoothed over and distorted by this suggestion, categorized as an absurd erotic dream not worth worrying about.

(As expected... it was just a strange dream. Luckily it wasn't real...)

She completely accepted this explanation. Although her body was still weak, the mental burden seemed to have been lifted all at once.

Lin Luo saw her expression of complete relaxation and even secret relief, knowing the suggestion had taken effect. He smiled slightly and said no more.

(This is best for her.)

The morning sun shone warmly through the window, leaving only peace in the room. A real spiritual possession event, along with its embarrassing details, was thus cleverly distorted, covered up, and sunk into the depths of consciousness, as if it really were just a traceless erotic dream.

After confirming that Kirisu Mafuyu had fallen into a peaceful sleep, the gentle smile on Lin Luo's face gradually faded, replaced by a look of gravity. He stood up, his gaze like lightning, carefully scanning every corner of the apartment.

Under his Spirit Vision, the negative energy that had dissipated and quietly permeated this place due to the malicious outbreak of the cicada song collection and the subsequent battle last night still lingered in the dark corners and furniture gaps of the room like fine black dust. Although this energy was thin, it was precisely its presence that had invisibly nourished and strengthened the wisp of Yin Qi originally lurking in the bathroom, giving it the ability to briefly possess someone.

"No wonder..." Lin Luo muttered to himself. He no longer hesitated, forming hand seals as the spiritual power in his body brushed through the entire space like a gentle spring breeze. Wherever it passed, the black "dust" melted and purified silently like snow under the sun, leaving no trace behind.

Having done all this, he did not stop. He took out several pieces of warm-textured Spirit Stones he had prepared from his pendant. Spiritual light flickered at his fingertips as he quickly carved composite Talismanic Incantations for fortification, purification, and warning onto them. Then, he placed these Spirit Stones in the corners of the living room, the bedroom windowsill, and hidden spots in the bathroom.

When the last Spirit Stone was in place, an invisible, gentle, and resilient energy field instantly enveloped the entire apartment like a transparent barrier, isolating the inside from the outside and ensuring that no more unclean "things" could easily slip in.

After completing all the arrangements, Lin Luo finally breathed a sigh of relief. He walked to the living room, sat on the sofa somewhat tiredly, picked up the remote control, and turned on the TV, setting the volume to the lowest to avoid waking the patient inside.

(Who told this teacher to have no friends and no relatives nearby?) Lin Luo glanced at the closed bedroom door and curled his lips helplessly, (I'll just have to work hard as this warm-hearted student and neighbor, acting as a temporary caregiver.)

Just as this thought arose, a glimpse of the... rosy scenery he had caught in the bathroom earlier when the bath towel slipped flashed through his mind involuntarily.

He coughed lightly, rubbed his nose, and refocused his gaze on the TV screen, but a very faint smile that he hadn't even noticed himself appeared at the corner of his mouth.

(Well... just consider it a bit of insignificant "reward.")
