Chapter 76 The Holy Son…is truly…a troublemaker!

Xiao Ming felt the complete surrender and obedience of the beauty in his arms, as well as her undisguised ruthlessness, and his heart swelled with even greater delight. He said no more, his gaze falling upon the increasingly open bathrobe due to their close proximity.

Then, with a wicked smile, he embraced Chi Lianer. With a short gasp from her, a "rip" sound was heard, and the already thin bathrobe was completely torn off, fluttering to the ground like shed cicada wings.

A breathtakingly beautiful figure with captivating curves was revealed without reservation. Her skin glowed in the night like white jade, especially her chest, which rose and fell, exuding infinite charm.

Dark fire burned in Xiao Ming's eyes, and his Adam's apple bobbed. He no longer hesitated, scooping up this warm, soft jade in his arms. Amidst Chi Lianer's gasps, he strode quickly into the meticulously prepared Side Hall. The hall door silently closed behind him, isolating the chirping of insects outside, the roar from the Main Hall, and all other disturbances.

(Three thousand words of romantic description omitted here...)

After a long while, inside the Side Hall, an ambiguous atmosphere lingered, mixed with desire and faint incense. Clothes lay scattered, bearing witness to the fierce battle that had just taken place.

Xiao Ming rose, feeling refreshed. He looked at Chi Lianer, who lay limp like water beside him, her eyelashes trembling slightly. He smugly curved his lips, then savored the feeling in a certain uncontrollable spot before slowly beginning to dress.

"This Saint still has important matters to attend to. Remember what I told you." Xiao Ming's voice was hoarse from the aftermath, but he had already regained his usual calm and indifference.

Chi Lianer laboriously lifted her eyelids, glancing at him with alluring, silken eyes. Her gaze held three parts resentment and seven parts intoxication. She licked her still-wanting red lips, then softly said, "Saint, rest assured, Lianer has committed it all to heart!" Though there was a hint of complaint, her tone was more like a spoiled plea.

Xiao Ming chuckled softly, not replying. After dressing neatly, he turned, pulled open the hall door, and his figure flickered, merging into the night and disappearing.

It was a long time after Xiao Ming left that Chi Lianer regained some strength. She raised a hand to caress her still-hot cheeks and slightly taut chest. Her eyes held a complex, unreadable expression—intoxication, relief, and even a hint of excitement from climbing to a higher branch, along with ambition for the future. She murmured softly, with a trace of lingering taste and awe: "The Saint... is truly... incredibly valiant... but also truly... a torment..."

After resting for another moment, Chi Lianer struggled to get up. The soreness throughout her body made her purse her lips, but the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up. It seemed to take a great effort for her to dress, and she slowly walked off the bed.

Her gaze fell on the small table beside the bed, where a porcelain bowl, long cooled but still emitting a rich medicinal aroma, sat. Only, the amount of medicine in this bowl was slightly more than usual.

Chi Lianer walked to the small table, picked up the medicine bowl, and as her fingertips touched the cool bowl, her heart inexplicably skipped a beat. An indescribable feeling of shame, mixed with stimulating electricity, surged through her body. How could she not know what it was? Two blushes flew onto her recently calmed face, giving her the shyness of a young maiden.

She steadied herself, took a deep breath, and her face regained some of its gentle and charming expression. After warming the medicinal soup, she carried the bowl and, dragging her still-sore and weary body, walked step by step towards the Main Hall.

Inside the Main Hall, the air reeked of alcohol, and cups and plates lay scattered in disarray. Tu Yu leaned weakly in a chair, his eyes bleary with drunkenness, but seemingly a bit more sober than before. He was impatiently drumming his fingers on the table.

"Why did it take so long? Dawdling." Hearing footsteps, Tu Yu impatiently looked up. Seeing Chi Lianer enter with the medicine bowl, he immediately began to scold her.

"What's the rush? The heat wasn't right, and the medicine wouldn't be potent enough," Chi Lianer said patiently, handing the medicine bowl to him, her voice deliberately softened. "Drink it while it's hot; it might be bitter if it cools."

Tu Yu grumbled as he took the medicine bowl. Without much thought, he tilted his head back and gulped it down. However, as the liquid entered his mouth, his brows immediately furrowed, and he spat out a mouthful with a "poof."

"Cough, cough! This medicine... why does it taste a bit strange today?" Tu Yu smacked his lips, a flicker of suspicion in his hazy, drunken eyes. He squinted and leaned closer to the bowl, examining the brown medicinal liquid. "It seems... there's also an indescribable taste? The color is also a bit cloudier than usual... Did you cut corners, or did you mess up the brewing?"

Chi Lianer's heart suddenly tightened, instantly pounding wildly as if it would leap from her throat. She forced herself to remain calm, a perfectly timed expression of grievance and displeasure appearing on her face: "What nonsense are you spouting! I painstakingly brewed it for you for several hours, not daring to be off by even a fraction! It must be because you drank too much, and your tongue is numb, making everything taste strange! If you don't want to drink it, then pour it out; it'll save me the thankless effort!"

As she spoke, she made a move to snatch the medicine bowl, her tone petulant.

Tu Yu, choked by her words and seeing nothing actually wrong with the medicine, immediately lost his Aura. He waved his hand irritably: "Alright, alright! Nagging! I'll drink it!" With that, he held his breath and gulped down the remaining half bowl of medicine in one go, though his brows furrowed slightly at the strange taste.

Chi Lianer watched his Adam's apple bob as he swallowed all of the medicinal liquid mixed with special "ingredients." The strange, stimulating sensation in her heart instantly reached its peak, making her body slightly warm and her cheeks burning. She quickly lowered her head to conceal the complex expression in her eyes, then reached out to take the empty bowl and softly said, "After drinking, you should rest early. I... I'm also tired and will go back to tidy up."

However, just as she turned to leave, a hand reeking of alcohol suddenly seized her fair wrist! The grip was quite strong.

"Wait!" Tu Yu lifted his bleary, drunken face, his gaze sweeping over her exquisite form, which was not fully concealed by her hastily donned clothes. He also sniffed the lingering scent of passion on her body, and an inexplicable surge of irritation and wicked desire welled up in his heart. The alcohol mixed with the medicine seemed to ignite a fire within him.

"Tidy what... what's the rush...?" Tu Yu's voice was thick with drunkenness, and he applied a slight force to his hand, trying to pull Chi Lianer into his arms.

Chi Lianer's wrist was seized, and her heart first panicked, then a strong surge of disgust and cold killing intent, like a venomous snake, shot through her heart! She was now the Saint's person; how dared this good-for-nothing touch her with his filthy hands?

She suppressed the urge to immediately break free and slap him, forcing an ugly smile onto her face, but her body stiffly resisted: "No, you just drank medicine and need quiet rest... Besides, Lianer is currently indisposed!"

"Quiet rest, my ass!" Tu Yu, emboldened by the alcohol, was relentless. Instead, he pulled her closer, reaching out with his other hand to wrap around her waist, muttering, "I'm your man! Just keep me company! Why are you acting so high and mighty! Come here!"

'This good-for-nothing!' Her heart sank, and killing intent grew wildly like weeds: 'If it weren't for the Saint saying he's still useful for now, I would kill him right now, but...'

Suddenly a thought came to her mind: turning him into a complete eunuch... seemed pretty good too?

A sinister and ruthless thought, like a poisonous vine, quickly spread and took root in her heart. Cripple him! It would both eliminate future troubles and give her peace!

With killing intent and calculations churning in her heart, she forcefully broke free from Tu Yu's hand, retreating a step back, her voice tinged with suppressed disgust: "Lianer is indeed indisposed at the moment. I shall take my leave..."

Having said that, she no longer looked at Tu Yu's disheveled and repulsive appearance. She turned and quickly left the Main Hall, as if fleeing from some defiled place.

It wasn't until she returned to the Side Hall, tightly closed the door, and slipped into the bed that had been swept by a storm, that Chi Lianer sniffed the lingering male scent on it. A fleeting haze appeared in her eyes, finally replaced by coldness and calculation.

"Tu Yu..." She whispered the name, as if speaking the name of a dead man. "This is your own doing..."
