Chapter 166: Think Steps Ahead

Lillian observed Ethan’s seed tasted salty and sticky, but not unpleasant.
When the twitching of his length finally subsided and he finally, slowly released his hold, she pulled back, catching her breath and letting out his now softening cock with a small pop.

He opened his closed eyes, focusing on Lillian. She was still kneeling between his legs, one of her hands resting on his thigh for support.

Lillian was a bit surprised at his length reawakening, causing her to freeze which made him chuckle.

"Come here," he said, calling her towards him.

She was still a bit self conscious but she allowed him to pull her up. He maneuvered them so they were laying side by side, facing each other, with her laying on his arm.

The scent of both their satisfactions still hung in the air between them but neither of the two paid it any mind.

Well, not until Lillian remembered that they were completely naked and her face immediately turned crimson.

Ethan, on the other hand, just smile and moved the hair that had clung to her face due to the sweat.

The silence stretched on for a while, with Ethan just silently looking at her. He knew she needed a moment or two to process and process she did.

She finally looked up at him before pulling a bit closer, settling into his chest and placing her head on it.

Lillian listened to Ethan’s heartbeat for a couple of minutes and her embarrassment quickly melted away.

She lay there as his chest rose and fell, listen to the calming sound of his heart.

"So," she started, "does this mean?"

Well she didn’t exactly finish her words, but Ethan knew exactly what she wanted to say.

"Does this mean what?" He repeated with a grin on his face which warranted her next actions.

Yeah, he was a bit surprised at the action but just chuckled and flicked her forehead in retaliation.

She frowned, looking up at him with a small pout before she said again, "does this mean we’re dating?"

"What do you think?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around her, before repeating her question, "does this mean we’re dating?"

Lillian smiled but didn’t respond as she buried her face deeper into his chest. She was so happy right now that her heart could explode.

She and Ethan really were in a relationship right now, and it all felt so surreal. She held him tighter afraid that this would all turn out to be a dream if she let go.

So if it indeed was a dream, she wanted to stay sleeping for a while longer. They stayed like that for a moment longer before Ethan spoke, "you still hungry?"

The ’still’ in the sentence caused her to blush as she understood what was being implied.

"Yes..." She let out.

"Then you’ll have to let go do I can make us something to eat," he requested.

"No."

He chuckled at that answer before he stood up, with her still in his arms and the two of them completely naked.

He then proceeded to walk towards the bathroom before getting into the bathtub, his little koala still clinging to him as he filled it with lukewarm water.

"Let’s at least get the fluids off our body." He muttered and she finally let go.

While Ethan and Lillian enjoyed each other company, Madam Xu and Jian Long weren’t having the greatest of times.

Especially madam Xu.

She already lost respect in the underworld once and somehow, the info that her attempt at revenge being an utter failure had reached the underworld.

What she didn’t know, was that this was all Jian’s doing. Right now, madam Xu was nothing but a variable that he had to get rid of and that meant taking away all her support.

But he was patient enough in dealing the final blow, after all, even though her reputation was in the ground, she still had men completely loyal to her.

Besides, the Reaper preferred dealing with one enemy at a time, OmniTech would be dealt with first and then, madam Xu.

Madam Xu, on the other hand, was pacing back and forth, the sound of her heels being the only thing they could hear, in the office.

The anger that had been simmering since last night’s fiasco was now a full inferno.

Every message, every single texts from her contacts only confirmed one thing, she was the laughingstock of both Shanghai’s and Beijing’s underworld.

A glass shattered against the far wall as she threw it, breathing hard. "How," she hissed under her breath, "how did he find her that fast?"

Her remaining men stood silently by the wall, too afraid to speak.

And in the shadows of the room, Jian Long leaned casually against her mahogany desk, hands in his pockets, an unreadable expression on his face.

He watched her rage without a word, as his eyes were completely cold and distant.

"You’re quiet," Xu snapped, turning to face him. "You think this is funny, Jian? You think losing everything is amusing?"

He met her glare calmly. "I think," he said evenly, "that we underestimated the wrong man."

Her lips parted, then closed it, before she opened them again.

"Don’t you dare lecture me," she snapped, but there was no real anger behind it this time.

"I’m not," he said simply before moving away from the table and towards the light, "I’m just saying, if we want to really take him down, we have to move a couple of steps ahead of him."
