192: Desert Altar

Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through, kicking up a sandstorm in the desert. Wang Sicong and the other two quickly followed Su Qing, afraid of being swept away by the sandstorm.

Su Qing stopped and looked back at the three, saying, "Everyone, be careful. There might be danger hidden in this sandstorm."

Hearing this, Wang Sicong became even more vigilant. He stared intently at his surroundings, fearing any unexpected occurrences.

As the sandstorm gradually approached, the four of them were forced to find shelter behind a sand dune, away from the wind.

After the sandstorm passed, the desert returned to calm. Su Qing looked around and said, "The sandstorm has passed, let's continue forward."

Wang Sicong and the other two nodded and followed Su Qing as she continued onward.

After walking for a while, they suddenly discovered an oasis ahead. The oasis was lush with trees and fragrant with flowers, like a paradise hidden from the world.

Su Qing looked at the oasis, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes. She quickened her pace and walked towards the oasis.

Wang Sicong and the other two followed closely behind, filled with curiosity and anticipation.

As they entered the oasis, they suddenly discovered an ancient ruin within it. Stone pillars stood tall in the ruin, with carved beams and painted rafters, resembling an ancient palace.

Su Qing looked at the ruin and said, "This is a Treasure Trove in the Star Secret Realm. Let's explore it carefully."

Wang Sicong and the other two nodded, indicating their understanding.

The four of them cautiously entered the ruin and began to explore its mysteries.

The ruin was dim and mysterious, with an ancient aura permeating the surroundings. Wang Sicong followed closely behind Su Qing, maintaining his vigilance at all times.

They passed through stone doors and walked along corridors, finally arriving at the center of the ruin. There, a massive altar stood, and on it rested a radiant Treasure.

Su Qing looked at the Treasure, a hint of excitement flashing in her eyes. She quickly walked onto the altar, intending to retrieve the Treasure.

However, the moment she reached out to touch the Treasure, a powerful energy fluctuation suddenly surged from the altar. Su Qing's expression changed, and she quickly retreated.

Seeing this, Wang Sicong was startled and quickly stepped forward to support Su Qing. He looked at the Treasure on the altar, feeling a sense of curiosity. What exactly was this Treasure? Why was it so powerful?

Su Qing steadied herself, looked at the Treasure on the altar, and said in a deep voice, "This Treasure is no small matter; we must deal with it carefully."

Wang Sicong nodded, indicating his understanding. He looked around and saw black mist suddenly surging in the ruin, as if something was about to awaken.

Li Qiang and Zhang Wei also looked around with solemn expressions, preparing for battle.

Su Qing looked at the four of them and said, "Everyone, be careful. This ruin might hide powerful Yao Beasts or traps."

Hearing this, Wang Sicong became even more vigilant. He tightly gripped the Magic Treasure in his hand, always ready to face any potential danger.

As the black mist gradually approached, the four of them were forced to huddle together, back to back, vigilantly watching their surroundings.

Suddenly, a deafening roar erupted, and powerful Yao Beasts charged out of the black mist, heading straight for them. These Yao Beasts were different from those outside; they seemed to lack intelligence, only knowing how to charge recklessly, relying on instinct and their powerful bodies to fight.

Moreover, these Yao Beasts all looked identical, resembling the mythical Vicious Beast Qiongqi, but much smaller, only the size of an adult. Their bodies were covered in black scales, their eyes were crimson, and their fangs protruded from their mouths, making them look extremely ferocious.

Su Qing looked at the charging Yao Beasts and said with a solemn expression, "These Yao Beasts are not weak; everyone, be careful."

Hearing this, Wang Sicong's heart tightened, and he quickly mobilized the spiritual Qi within his body, preparing for the impending battle.

Li Qiang and Zhang Wei also stood ready. Although their cultivation was not high, their combat experience was extremely rich, and they faced the charging Yao Beasts without fear.

Four Yao Beasts surrounded the four of them, continuously roaring as if provoking them.

At Su Qing's command, Wang Sicong and the other two attacked simultaneously. Wang Sicong controlled a Flying Sword Magic Treasure, releasing powerful spiritual Qi fluctuations to attack the Yao Beasts.

Li Qiang and Zhang Wei seemed to be old acquaintances, cooperating tacitly as they jointly fought against the charging Yao Beasts. Li Qiang wielded a massive battle-axe, each swing accompanied by a booming sound, heavily cleaving against the Yao Beasts' scales, sending sparks flying.

Meanwhile, Zhang Wei moved with agility, like a ghost, weaving between the Yao Beasts. He held several sharp daggers, constantly searching for the Yao Beasts' weaknesses to deliver a fatal blow.

As for Su Qing, as a Nascent Soul Senior, she stood by, ready to assist whichever of Wang Sicong and the other two was in danger at the first moment.

Su Qing quickly formed hand seals, chanting incantations. Beams of Spell light shot from her hands, striking the Yao Beasts that were attacking them.

Although these Yao Beasts were fierce, under the combined attack of Wang Sicong, Li Qiang, and Zhang Wei, they were evenly matched. After all, these four Yao Beasts were only Late Stage Tier 3 in strength, merely possessing powerful physical bodies, not to mention Su Qing, a Nascent Soul Cultivator, was also watching from the side. As time passed, the Yao Beasts began to show signs of exhaustion, and their injuries grew more numerous.

Finally, under Wang Sicong's fierce sword technique, one Yao Beast was pierced through the heart by a sword, falling to the ground and losing its life.

Li Qiang and Zhang Wei also cooperated more and more tacitly. Zhang Wei's sudden attack successfully blinded the eyes of another Yao Beast, throwing it into confusion. Li Qiang then took the opportunity to cleave down with his axe, completely slaying this Yao Beast.

The remaining two Yao Beasts, seeing this, began to panic, and their attacks became disorganized.

Seeing this, Su Qing's lips curled into a cold smile. She waved her hands, and a powerful Spell light shot from her hands, instantly enveloping the two Yao Beasts.

With a loud bang, the two Yao Beasts were reduced to dust in the Spell light.

The battle ended, and the four of them, Wang Sicong included, breathed a sigh of relief as they looked at the Yao Beast corpses scattered on the ground.

Su Qing looked at Wang Sicong and the other two, nodding in satisfaction, and said, "You three performed well."

Hearing this, Wang Sicong and the other two looked at each other without saying much, instead looking at Su Qing,

waiting for Su Qing's further instructions.

Su Qing looked at the three of them, smiled slightly, and said, "There are other Treasures in this ruin. You all can look around first, but don't stray too far from this spot. I need to study the altar here first."

With that, Su Qing waved her hand and walked towards the altar where the radiant Treasure was located. Her figure stopped in front of the altar, her hands gently caressing the patterns on the altar, her eyes gleaming with contemplation.

Seeing this, Wang Sicong and the other two did not disturb her. Instead, they spread out and began to explore other parts of the ruin. They cautiously walked through stone doors and along corridors, investigating the area.
