386: Chapter 386 The Unchanged Chaotic Town
After obtaining the inheritance, Tang Ping left Holy Heaven Mansion. It wasn't convenient to digest the inheritance there, so he planned to do so outside before leaving directly via the Great Wall.
Seven years later.
Outside the Holy Heaven Mansion barrier, in an unnamed grey mountain, a sealed cave entrance was opened. Tang Ping emerged from within, the dust on his body flicked away in an instant.
His second talent had also broken through to level seven.
Furthermore, with the help of the resources inside, he had cultivated his first talent to the powerful Heavenly King level.
With his dual talents, he could hold his own even against a top-tier Heavenly King. If he added the Azure Realm, which had now reached a hundred miles, he could even trade blows with an Invincible Heavenly King.
He didn't stay at Holy Heaven Mansion any longer; after this, he prepared to head to the Antarctic Continent.
He left Holy Heaven Mansion through a spatial portal.
"That person left?"
"Mm, he just left."
"Dual S-rank Talents, and both have reached the Heavenly King level. He even seems to have cultivated some kind of powerful Mystical Art. Remarkable."
"It's just a bit strange; he seems to have obtained some kind of opportunity at Lingxiu Mountain."
"What's so strange about that? Back then, Leader Tang scattered opportunities everywhere. In these years, those who gained such opportunities and soared to success are not few in number."
"True."
The voices faded, and everything returned to silence.
Tang Ping, who had been away for many years, passed by Luangang Town again. He noticed that the nearest section of the Great Wall was only a little over seven thousand kilometers away. This distance was actually within reach if Luangang Town developed properly.
However, he didn't say any of this, only taking a look around the town.
Nearly ten years had passed. Zhang Xiaomei was almost thirty now, and white hair had appeared at her temples. She had later given birth to two more children, making five in total, and they were all growing up well.
But five years ago, Zhang Hui had taken Lu Zhi and Lu Hui and left Luangang Town.
Tang Ping didn't know where they went and didn't ask, but if Zhang Hui was still alive, he should be at level four by now.
The town hadn't changed at all; everything was just as it was ten years ago.
Zhang Xiaomei was currently washing clothes. Old Man Lu had passed away, but Father Zhang and Zhang Mother were still alive. Now in their forties, they seemed to be in good health, likely because Zhang Hui had used his talent to nourish their bodies.
Now the two elders were helping their daughter with the children. Father and Zhang Mother seemed to know where Zhang Hui had gone, but in the eyes of outsiders, Zhang Hui, Lu Zhi, and Lu Hui had all died in the Grey Cedar Forest.
As he passed in front of Zhang Xiaomei, she seemed to sense something. She looked up at the young man before her, feeling a sense of familiarity. Thinking he was from some family in town, she offered a greeting.
"Out for a stroll?"
"Out for a stroll."
Zhang Xiaomei continued washing clothes. She was just like ten years ago, except the newly married girl now had greying temples.
"Mama, look! The little airplane Grandpa made for me!"
"That's the one Grandpa made for me! Yours is clearly broken!"
"Nuh-uh, yours is the one that's broken."
Tang Ping wandered through Luangang Town and realized it wasn't completely static. The Lu family's sword smithy could now only forge farm tools; several of Father and Zhang Mother's neighbors had grown old—the elders were gone, and the new people had become the new elders.
Leaving Luangang Town, he arrived at a river several kilometers wide located between the Grey Cedar Forest and the Great Wall.
Cold energy surged in his palm as he struck down at the large river. A long bridge of ice spanned the two banks, the ice as hard as steel and destined not to melt for a hundred years.
Tang Ping continued to strengthen it, his cold energy like a tide that did not cease for seven days.
An ice bridge three hundred meters wide and over four thousand meters long now lay across the great river.
Then, he turned and left.
Several months later, Xiaowan Village.
