250: Chapter 250: Conquer the Sakura Kingdom, and there will be no more false gods in the world!

Three days later, Kyoto Plaza.

The once bustling place was now as solemn as an execution ground.

A dense crowd was isolated by an invisible force, able to watch the center of the plaza only with terror.

Thousands of people knelt there.

There were Daimyos and their families (including the Toyotomi, Tokugawa, Koizumi, and other clans) dressed in luxurious traditional clothing with chonmage hairstyles.

There were bandit leaders and extremist leaders in old military uniforms, their chests covered in “medals.”

And there were countless radicals who had frantically shouted and spread hatred on the streets.

Every one of them was ashen-faced, trembling all over, completely devoid of the arrogance they had displayed three days prior.

Despair and the smell of blood permeated the air.

Amaterasu Hime stood on a makeshift high platform, still carrying the Bone Katana, her fiery golden pupils coldly sweeping over the kneeling sinners below.

She tossed something casually.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Dozens of gleaming Wakizashis (seppuku short swords) were thrown before the Daimyos and bandit leaders.

The crisp metallic clanging sounded like a death knell.

“My people.”

Her voice, amplified, clearly reached everyone’s ears, cold and devoid of emotion.

“Frankly speaking…”

“In the past, you invaded other countries, slaughtered living beings, and expanded your so-called ‘Co-Prosperity Sphere’…”

“Not only did I not disapprove, but I even…”

A cruel, almost appreciative, curve appeared at the corner of her lips:

“Found it somewhat admirable.”

“The law of the jungle is, after all, a universal rule.”

Among the kneeling crowd, some suddenly looked up, their eyes bursting with astonishment and a hint of morbid hope!

“Amaterasu Hime! You… you understand us!!” a Tokugawa Daimyo shouted excitedly, “We are all fulfilling your will! The blood of gods flows within us! We…”

“Silence.”

Amaterasu Hime interrupted coldly.

“Admiration does not mean indulgence.”

“Nor does it mean… you can transgress.”

Her gaze suddenly became as sharp as a blade, locking onto those kneeling and begging for mercy:

“Your greatest mistake, your gravest error was…”

“Pointing your blades… at My Lord!”

“The Dragon Country is the country of My Lord, Lin Mo.”

“Of course, that in itself might not be much…”

Her voice suddenly rose, carrying monstrous killing intent:

“But! You dared to draw your blades against My Lord!!”

“This is… a crime for which even ten thousand deaths cannot atone!”

“Now…”

She pointed to the Wakizashis on the ground.

“Commit seppuku.”

“Using the method you most revere…”

“Atone for your sins.”

Silence!

After a brief silence!

“No!!” The head of a Koizumi family collapsed, weeping, “I don’t want to die! Divine Lord! Have mercy!”

“We are your most loyal subjects!!” A descendant of the Toyotomi family kowtowed frantically.

But a few others showed a bitter smile, a look of desperate resolve flashing in their eyes.

“For… the spirit of Sakura Country!” An old warlord roared, trembling as he grabbed a Wakizashi and plunged it into his abdomen!

Pfft!

Blood gushed out! He let out a painful grunt, his body convulsing violently!

Immediately after, several others followed suit, completing the “glorious” ritual of their twisted faith.

But more people simply slumped to the ground, trembling as they looked at the blood-stained short swords, utterly unable to act.

“Useless.”

A flicker of impatience crossed Amaterasu Hime’s eyes.

Her figure vanished instantly!

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

Like a red god of death weaving through!

The Bone Katana carved out cold arcs!

The heads of those Daimyos, bandit leaders, and radical chiefs who had hesitated to act… their heads!

Were severed as easily as chopping melons and vegetables!

Soaring into the sky!

Headless bodies sprayed blood and fell limply to the ground!

Heads rolled, their faces still frozen in extreme terror and disbelief!

Crack!

Finally, Amaterasu Hime cut down an object symbolizing imperial power (either a throne or a banner) with a single strike.

“From now on…”

“Sakura Country…”

“Will have no more nobles, nor an emperor.”

Her voice, like a final judgment, echoed across the plaza.

“Only…”

“Sin and punishment.”

On the periphery of the plaza, the ordinary citizens who were forced to witness all this were already scared out of their wits.

But in this extreme fear, a cold realization was also forcibly imprinted in their minds:

It turned out… those high and mighty nobles and emperors, who claimed to be descendants of Amaterasu Hime and led them to madness… could also die!

They could also be afraid!

They could also be slaughtered like pigs and dogs!

The so-called divinity… the so-called mandate of heaven… in the face of true, overwhelming power… was as fragile as a joke!

“Gods… can also die…”

One person murmured to himself.

This sentence spread like a virus among the surviving crowd.

Faith completely collapsed.

Reverence… was reshaped… in the bloodiest way.

The Kyoto judgment concluded.

The old era of Sakura Country… was completely… stained red and buried.
