516: Chapter 516 Soul Pill

The sudden turn of events caught the people of Blue Star off guard.

No one expected the situation to take so many twists and turns.

Cam, who had launched a sneak attack on Xiao Weiqing, was easily taken out.

Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Xiao Weiqing being saved by a human, but she didn't lower her guard; this person didn't seem like someone from Blue Star, and no one knew his purpose.

"Thank you for your assistance, Senior."

"I wonder if Senior could hand Xiao Weiqing over to me?"

Hendrick said gently, "Is the new Star Lord called Xiao Weiqing?"

Seeing that Hendrick made no move, Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu stepped forward, and Xie Zhiyuan, Ning Xing, and the others gathered around as well.

"Master, he's dying. We came all this way for nothing; this deal is going to be a loss," San Bai said, appearing beside Hendrick and glancing at Xiao Weiqing.

"What?"

Upon hearing San Bai's words, the group immediately panicked.

Xiao Weiqing was dying?

"His Divine Soul aura is incredibly weak, almost imperceptible," Xie Zhiyuan judged.

"Senior, can you save him?"

Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu asked hopefully.

"What 'Senior'? My master is a member of the Seventh Heaven of the Yunxu Holy Land, with a noble status. You should call him Lord Hendrick," San Bai lectured with hands on hips, pointing at Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu and the others.

"Lord Hendrick, please save Xiao Weiqing. The Blue Star Civilization is willing to pay the price."

Xie Zhiyuan stepped forward and pleaded.

"Yes, the Blue Star Civilization is willing to pay the price," the others echoed.

"Save him? For what? His Divine Soul is damaged and over-exhausted. Even if he's saved, he'll never achieve anything great," San Bai scolded.

In his eyes, they had already lost the travel expenses; saving Xiao Weiqing would only add to the loss.

Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu and the others were extremely anxious. At this moment, Xiao Weiqing's breath was barely audible, and his Divine Soul aura was almost undetectable.

"San Bai, the soul spirit pill."

Hearing this, San Bai looked at his master. "Master, do you really want to save him?"

"Yes."

Hendrick nodded gently with a slight smile.

Seeing this, the people of Blue Star felt a glimmer of hope and looked at San Bai.

Helpless, San Bai produced a small jade bottle, saying reluctantly:

"Master, have you thought this through? A soul spirit pill is worth 1,000 credits. Unless this guy Xiao Weiqing can enter the Fourth Heaven, this deal will be a loss no matter what."

"He is willing to fight to the death for his civilization. He must be saved, regardless of the credits."

Hendrick's tone was gentle, carrying a hint of admiration.

"Fine, as you wish."

San Bai took out the pill from the jade bottle—a milky-white pill that emitted waves of fragrance.

Everyone watched as San Bai fed it into Xiao Weiqing's mouth.

Instantly.

Xiao Weiqing's condition changed. His weak breath recovered at a visible rate, and even his Divine Soul strength increased significantly.

Seeing this, Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu and the others finally felt at ease.

Hendrick waved his hand, and Xiao Weiqing's body floated toward the group. Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu caught him and bowed her head in gratitude. "Thank you."

"Just saying thanks isn't enough. The 1,000 credits must be repaid."

San Bai reminded them.

Xie Zhiyuan asked, "I wonder how much the 1,000 credits you mentioned are worth."

"How much are they worth?"

San Bai thought for a moment and said, "Your Blue Star Civilization, including this planet, is barely worth 10,000 credits."

"What?!"

The group was dumbfounded.

"Our Blue Star Civilization is only worth 10,000 credits?"

"Otherwise?"

"And that's only because of Xiao Weiqing. As for you lot? We wouldn't take you even if you were free."

The group suppressed their shock and slowly regained their composure.

Ren Yiming spoke up, "Lord Hendrick, the Blue Star has suffered a great disaster and needs to deal with the aftermath. I wonder if you could move to another location. Principal Xie, take them to..."

"Let's go to Luo Jiang Prefecture. What does Lord Hendrick think?" Xie Zhiyuan interjected.

Logically, they should have gone to Azure Dragon Island, but it held secrets, and since Xiao Weiqing was unconscious, it wasn't convenient.

"That's fine."

Hendrick nodded slightly, not refusing.

"Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu, I'll leave Xiao Weiqing in your care. We still need to hunt down the Yao Race. If anything happens, contact us immediately," Xie Zhiyuan said.

While they were saving Xiao Weiqing, the remaining few demigods of the Yao Race had fled with the remnants of their forces. They were going to hunt them down to eliminate the threat once and for all.

"Alright."

Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu summoned her aircraft.

With a thought from San Bai, a meteor-shaped aircraft appeared.

"Let's go. We'll follow you."

Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu nodded and carried Xiao Weiqing into the cabin.

Swoosh—

The two aircraft, one after the other, disappeared into the horizon.

...

...

Ten days had passed since the end of the great battle with the Yao Race.

Luo Jiang Prefecture.

A certain Villa; this was where Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu had stayed when she first came to Luo Jiang Prefecture.

At dusk.

Inside the bedroom.

Xiao Weiqing lay on the bed, with Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu, Qian Yi, and Wei Lan quietly keeping watch.

"This isn't right."

"How has this kid not woken up yet?"

A large white rabbit with three tails hopped onto the balcony and looked at Xiao Weiqing on the bed, feeling a bit confused.

"Lord San Bai, could you please ask Lord Hendrick to come and take a look?" Wei Lan suggested.

"Just call me San Bai. I don't deserve the title of 'Lord'," San Bai waved his paw.

"Master is in the Villa next door. He'll come when it's time. There's no use in being anxious."

"If anyone's anxious, it's me. Every extra day we stay here, we lose 3 credits."

Wei Lan and the other two were somewhat helpless. After several days of contact, they had learned San Bai's temperament; aside from his master's affairs, he only cared about credits.

Just then.

Qian Yi's Wristband vibrated.

"Principal Xie?"

"Qian Yi, how is Weiqing?"

"He hasn't woken up yet."

"I see. Remember to notify me if there's any news."

Qian Yi replied, "Understood, Principal Xie. How about on your end?"

"The Yao Sovereigns have mostly been slain; only a few remain, and they've gone into hiding. It will likely take some time. There are still three demigods left, and we are hunting them down."

"Principal Xie, please be careful then."

"Mhm."

The battle ten days ago.

Blue Star had suffered heavy losses. Only five Ninth Realm experts remained, and there were fewer than a hundred in the Eighth Realm. They had almost been wiped out, and many of the remaining powerhouses had died while hunting down the Yao Race.

Suddenly.

A figure appeared in the bedroom.

It was Hendrick.

"Master, why are you here?"

Hendrick looked at Xiao Weiqing on the bed. Clearly, he had come for him.

As expected.

With a soft groan, Xiao Weiqing slowly opened his eyes.

"Brother Qing, are you okay?"

Xiao Weiqing sat up and nodded to Wei Lan. "I'm fine."

By now, Xiao Weiqing's breath was stable, and he was no longer in any serious danger.

"Who is this?"

Xiao Weiqing first saw San Bai, then Hendrick. Although Xiao Weiqing wasn't at his Peak, he hadn't noticed a living person standing right in front of him at first.

This spoke volumes about the man's strength.

Looking at Hendrick's skin tone, it was clear he wasn't from Blue Star. Coupled with his own previous condition, Xiao Weiqing had a rough guess.

"My master—"

Hendrick reached out to stop San Bai.

"You can call me Hendrick. I come from the Yunxu Holy Land, and I've come here specifically to pick you up."

Xiao Weiqing nodded; it was much as he had guessed.

Then.

Palace Master Yun Shu Yun Shu approached and recounted everything that had happened after Xiao Weiqing fell unconscious, without missing a single detail.
