Chapter 245: Auction"Lord, then what should we do?" Selena asked as she followed closely behind Apollo, her tone respectful yet curious, while they left the void mansion.

Apollo replied. "First, let’s explore the station itself. I want to get a feel for the dynamics here."

As they walked through the bustling streets of Astral Void Station, Apollo couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation. He was looking forward to finding the Abyss Demons and the secrets of the Arcane Keepers and to finding out if there was really a connection between Abyssal demons and him.

They were walking in the outer district that was filled with a large number of people from all over the universe who were either here for some business or were here to take the large-distance space wormhole.

There were many small forces from the nearby life planets that came here to sell their products and resources to the large trading chamber of commerce that does business all over the universe.

The galaxy they were in is called the Zeta galaxy, which consists of more than five hundred thousand life planets or worlds. Numerous people come from those planets here, as it is on the major gathering station in their galaxy.

The outer district buzzed with an energy unique to a major galactic hub. Different stalls lined the wide, metallic streets, each boasting goods from the far reaches of the Zeta Galaxy.

Small traders shouted to passersby, advertising exotic wares—crystals imbued with strange energies, rare herbs that glowed faintly under the artificial light, and even weapons forged from the fragments of divine metals and stars.

Apollo’s gaze swept across the crowd, observing the mixture of species, cultures, and languages. Every individual seemed to carry a purpose, whether conducting business, seeking alliances, or simply surviving in this chaotic intersection of civilisations.

"Zeta Galaxy, with its five hundred thousand life planets..." Apollo mused aloud, his tone thoughtful. "This station truly is the heartbeat of the region."

Serena glanced at him, her hands clasped behind her back. "Indeed. It can be considered one of the major stations for most life planets in this galaxy, but it is still nothing compared to the entire universe."

"The strongest in Zeta Galaxy is only an ordinary True God, which is nothing. In fact, if the lord wants it, it can be destroyed easily." She said calmly that true gods were nothing.

Hearing this, he smiled, as he himself didn’t know how strong the Guardian of the Lunar Moon was; even though his strength reached the level of a void god, he still could not measure their strength, as they were still covered in fog.

And from her tone, he can be sure she didn’t take True God or the true god Zeta galaxy seriously, meaning she should be stronger. It let him think if she is this strong, how strong would the strongest among the guardians, Captain Varien, be?

He didn’t think much about that, and then his eyes settled on a towering structure in the distance. "That must be one of the major chambers of commerce," he remarked. Its sleek, crystalline design stood out among the more utilitarian buildings surrounding it. A steady stream of traders and transports moved in and out of its massive gates.

"Yes," Serena confirmed. "The Hundred Alliance Chamber, if I’m not mistaken. They’re known for their reach across galaxies, dealing in everything from raw materials to forbidden artifacts."

"In fact, there seems to be the biggest auction in two days that is said to have many treasures from all over the universe that also attracted quite a few people in addition to the Abyssal demon mess."

"Oh, there’s something like that, then let’s see what’s so great about the auction." He decided to wait two days; anyway, they have to wait and see what kind of grand auction this will be.

After strolling, came back to the ship and started to meditate for the remaining time. Although he came outside to gain experience; he could not stop his training.

Two days quickly passed, and the day of the auction arrived, and the outer region was packed with different creatures from all over the galaxy.

He wasn’t going to try to hide or anything; he was going to participate fully in the open, as there wasn’t a need to try to hide. Now he is backed by a transcendent force. Why be too low-key? He doesn’t need to be afraid, but instead, the idiotic young masters, if they came, needed to be afraid, hoping not to mess with him.

The auction venue, a massive dome-shaped structure of gleaming obsidian and shimmering energy barriers, dominated the skyline. Its design was both imposing and elegant, a testament to the Hundred Alliance Chamber’s wealth and influence.

Guards clad in intricate armour with powerful auras stood at every entrance, their presence a stark warning to any who might disrupt the event. Every single one of them was a half-god realm, and he even felt Void God-level aura hidden within them.

As Apollo and Serena approached, the atmosphere shifted. A ripple of energy coursed through the crowd as prominent local figures made their entrances.

These were individuals of renown—famous merchants, clan leaders, and high-ranking representatives of Zeta Galaxy’s factions. Their retinues followed closely, adding to the buzz of activity around the entrance.

Whispers spread through the gathering.

"And over there—Lady Ysera from the Dawnweave Clan! She’s rumoured to have a direct line to the True God of the Zeta Galaxy!"

"Who’s that beside them? The young man with the silver hair? His aura feels... overwhelming."

"Look, people from Arcane Keeper also came."

Apollo paid no heed to the murmurs, his attention fixed on the grand entrance ahead. Serena, walking a step behind, glanced at the surrounding crowd, her expression calm without a chance as those famous people for others were nothing to her.

The crowd parted slightly as Apollo and Serena moved forward, their presence commanding respect and curiosity, but it wasn’t much as they were just the two of them without any fanfare. The famous figures barely spared him a glance and were more focused on their own circles of influence.

Selena had bought VIP seats for the auction the day before, ensuring they would receive the best treatment. As soon as the special rune of their VIP pass was revealed, the guards acted promptly, stepping aside with deference.

A member of the rabbit clan, part of the beastfolk and adorned with distinctive long ears and big, soft breasts, approached them gracefully. Her long, snow-white ears twitched slightly, adding charm to her composed demeanour. Her warm demeanour was accentuated by her elegant attire, tailored to match the sophistication of the event.

She bowed slightly, her tone polite yet cheerful. "Welcome, esteemed guests. I am Mary, your personal attendant for this event. Please allow me to escort you to your reserved room."

Apollo gave a slight nod of acknowledgement, and Serena remained cold but nodded.

Following Mary, they were led through a series of exquisitely decorated corridors. The walls were lined with mysterious runes that seemed to prevent any snooping with their spiritual senses, hence giving them the privacy they wanted.

The VIP room was a private and luxurious space overlooking the grand auction hall, offering both comfort and an unobstructed view of the proceedings. Apollo followed the charming guide, feeling the air of exclusivity that came with his privileged status.

It was furnished with plush seating and a crystal-clear projection screen for close-ups of auction items.

The room was not only made of special material but also had runes etched on the walls preventing others from snooping but also protecting them from attacks from ordinary Void Gods, ensuring complete privacy and security while allowing Apollo and Serena to observe the bustling activity below.

Mary gestured gracefully to the seating area. "Should you require anything further, please do not hesitate to summon me."

With that, she bowed and exited the room, leaving Apollo and Serena to settle in.

Apollo moved to the edge of the room, gazing out at the grand auction hall. The vast space was already buzzing with activity, filled with a mix of participants from various corners of the galaxy.

One after another, countless people joined the auction, and in a few minutes it was fully packed with more than a hundred thousand people from all over the galaxy, with everyone being an important member of some strong force.
