558: Chapter 493: Card Fusion, Total Number Exceeds One Hundred and Twenty

When Lin Zhou walked back from the stone path under the Wall of Heroes to the meeting hall of the Iron Wall Fortress, Li Mo's projection was already waiting inside.

The projection was brighter than usual, with data streams flowing slowly along its edges, as if waiting for the right moment to start speaking.

Lin Zhou paused at the entrance, and Li Mo's projection lit up.

"Captain, the card data you asked me to compile has been organized."

Lin Zhou walked into the hall and sat down at one end of the long table.

A Star Map of the New Universe was spread out on the table, with some handwritten annotations on its edges.

Li Mo's projection did not pause and continued, its voice steady but carrying a slight, imperceptible fluctuation.

"The cards you previously obtained in the Chaos Star Domain and the abyss have all completed their Civilization compatibility conversion. Currently, the total number of Divine Kingdom card Fusions has reached one hundred and twenty, including three Legendary-Rank, twenty-five Epic-Rank, and ninety-two Rare-Rank and below. All cards have completed their Huaxia-style transformation, the rejection rate has returned to zero, and they have all been integrated into the river of civilization system."

Lin Zhou did not rush to respond.

He looked at the Star Map on the table.

One hundred and twenty cards, from the initial [Small Iron Mine] to the current [Civilization Dragon Pulse], each one was a journey.

He suddenly remembered the scene when he first obtained the [Spiritual Spring] in college; that card had made him happy for several days.

Now, those memories had been absorbed by the river of civilization, becoming a part of the river; they didn't need to be deliberately searched for, nor would they be completely forgotten.

"Of the ninety-two below Rare-Rank," Lin Zhou began, "how many are resource cards?"

"Fifty-three," Li Mo's projection called up a classification directory, which hovered above the table.

"Seventeen mineral types, twenty-one terrain types, and fifteen wonder types. Among them, there is one complete small Spiritual Vein, three extraterrestrial mines, and two patches of arable Spiritual Fields."

"What about the race cards?"

"Nine. Seven auxiliary race cards and two special talent cards. After Fusion, they have all been transformed into branches of the Huaxia Human Race; they will not reproduce independently, but they can inherit skill characteristics."

Lin Zhou's gaze swept over the directory, finally stopping on the top three lines.

Those were the names of the three Legendary-Rank cards: [Civilization Dragon Pulse], [Bingge Cave], and [Shushan Sword Tomb].

The Civilization Dragon Pulse had already been integrated into the Divine Kingdom Core, the Bingge Cave was operating day and night, and three thousand Flying Swords in the Shushan Sword Tomb had already recognized their masters.

He took another look at the twenty-five Epic-Rank cards—among them was a [Titan Skeleton], still sealed in the warehouse and unused because a suitable opportunity had not yet been found; there was also a [Dragon Blood Secret Realm], which had been activated during a trial once and later merged with the Bingge Cave system to be used as a special training ground.

Most Epic-Rank cards already had their own place in the Divine Kingdom.

Not every one needed to be remembered, but every one had indeed existed.

Lin Zhou withdrew his gaze, and the edge of the Star Map on the long table was slightly curled by the wind.

"Li Mo, how many of those low-Rank cards are still in use?"

"All of them are in use. The mineral-type cards are continuously supplying resources to the Divine Kingdom, the terrain-type cards form the foundation of the Divine Kingdom's landscape, and the wonder-type cards maintain the Spiritual Qi circulation of the Divine Kingdom. Not a single one is idle."

Li Mo paused, its voice softening as the words concluded.

"Captain, the load on the Divine Kingdom is already very low. With the current rule-carrying capacity and Spiritual Qi self-circulation ability, even without external Divine Power input, the Divine Kingdom can operate independently for at least one hundred years."

Lin Zhou stood up and walked to the window.

Outside the window was the watchtower of the Iron Wall Fortress, and the Firewood Sword on the city wall was still rotating slowly.

On the plaque above the city gate, the four characters "Civilization Eternal" looked bright in the evening light.

He stood in front of the window for a while before turning around.

"For those three Legendary-Rank cards, I need to confirm one thing—will their Civilization compatibility still change?"

"It will not change."

Li Mo called up the data.

"The Civilization Dragon Pulse has been deeply integrated with the Divine Kingdom Core, the Bingge Cave has formed a symbiotic relationship with the Wall of Heroes, and the Shushan Sword Tomb is completely synchronized with the river of civilization. They no longer require additional compatibility conversion. They have been completely 'Huaxia-ized'."

Lin Zhou nodded and turned to look out the window.

"Good. Then let them continue to operate like that."

He walked out of the meeting hall, passed through the city gate, and walked toward the Wall of Heroes.

In the cracks of the stone steps at the base of the city wall, the tree where the Moonlight Elf perched had grown to waist height, and tiny specks of light occasionally flashed between the branches and leaves.

As he passed the stone steps, the tree's branches swayed gently, as if a breeze had just passed by, or perhaps as a silent response.

He did not pause as he walked past the stone steps.

The Firewood Sword on the city wall rotated slowly behind him, dragging a faint arc of sword light in the twilight.

A corner of the Wall of Heroes was revealed behind the watchtower, and the names on the wall had been plated with a layer of warm light by the evening glow.

Vera's name was also among them, the handwriting appearing deeper in the twilight than during the day, as if that line of text was slowly sinking into the interior of the stone.

Nightfall spread from the other side of the city wall.

He walked to the end of the city wall, stopped, and leaned against the wall bricks to look into the distance.

Night was falling, spreading up from the other side of the city wall, and the ridge line at the edge of his vision was slowly sinking into deep blue.

The last trace of twilight on the city wall also sank, and the lights on the city wall lit up one by one, lining up into a stable band of light along the top of the wall, hanging in the night without swaying.

The sound of the night patrol soldiers' footsteps came from below the city wall, neat and steady, not as hurried as in wartime.

When they passed the corner of the city wall, the sound of their footsteps faded away on the wall bricks, merging into the depths of the night.

The entire city was quietly turning into an ordinary Human Race city, the urgency of wartime replaced by the rhythm of daily life; the lights alternated between bright and dim, and there were no more sounds of reinforcing fortifications overnight on the city wall.

Occasionally, the footsteps of late returners could be heard in the streets and alleys of the inner city, but more often, it was the rustling sound of wind blowing over the roof tiles.

The small tree under the Wall of Heroes was still swaying gently in the wind, and the golden veins on its leaves were glowing slightly in the night.

In the distance, the edge of the Great Wall of Civilization glowed with an extremely faint cyan-gold halo, moving slowly along the city wall.

Lin Zhou did not watch it go, but turned and walked down the watchtower, slowly walking back along the stone steps.
