108: Dual-pack overclocking! Smash it! No turtle shell can withstand this punch!

Jiang Ran listened to these parameters, which were enough to make any gunner despair, but the expression on his face did not fluctuate in the slightest.

He just stared at the Launch Base Stations beneath that Light Shield, which were emitting white smoke due to overheating from the overload.

“Dr. Su, there is an ironclad law in physics called the conservation of energy.”

Jiang Ran's voice was calm and cold:

“How much lateral force is needed to change the trajectory of a ten-kilogram tungsten alloy projectile traveling at Mach six?

While this force acts on the projectile, it also reacts back upon that launcher.”

He pointed at the shield on the screen, whose brightness had clearly dimmed for a moment compared to before:

“Tai Chi can indeed use four ounces to deflect a thousand pounds.

But what if what comes crashing down isn't a thousand pounds, but ten thousand, or even a hundred thousand?”

If a fully loaded heavy truck crashes into you at a hundred kilometers per hour.

No matter how skilled a Tai Chi master is, their only end would be getting crushed into meat paste.

“Then double the 'quantity'.”

Jiang Ran suddenly pulled down a red gate above the console; it was the overclocking switch for the weapons system.

“Warning: Capacitor banks are overloading.”

“Current voltage: 110%... 115%... 120%.”

“Warning: Rail temperature is rising sharply, which may lead to permanent barrel damage.”

zero's red alerts flooded the screen again, but Jiang Ran directly ignored all safety prompts.

“Initiate Twin mode.”

Jiang Ran's pupils reflected the rows of frantically jumping red progress bars:

“Connect the spare Capacitor Bank Number Two in parallel as well.

Since he wants to deflect, I'll give him a grand gift he can't possibly deflect.”

On the foredeck of the black iron, that massive turret once again emitted the tooth-gritting sound of mechanical operation.

The second spare rail, originally hidden under the armor, slowly rose, locking into place alongside the main cannon.

The two thick cannon barrels resembled a two-headed monster, opening its bloody maw toward the distant Zhenhai.”

The surrounding air began to ionize due to the excessive current.

Blue electric arcs leaped wildly across the deck, making crackling explosions.

“With this shot, I'm going to smash the person and the shield together.”

Jiang Ran's finger hovered over the fire button once more.

It was a pure, unreasonable aesthetic of violence.

In the face of absolute power, all fancy techniques are merely graves that so-called 'rich people' dig for themselves.

“Zzzzz—Boom!!!”

The air was burning.

This time, it wasn't just the muzzle; the entire foredeck of the black iron seemed to turn into an erupting active volcano.

Violent bio-currents flowed along the energy conduits that pulsed like blood vessels.

They poured frantically into the two sets of ultra-high-capacity capacitor banks that were already in a critical state.

The voltage readings instantly shattered the red warning line.

Those two electromagnetic rails exposed to the air.

Because they bore a terrifying current far exceeding their design limits, they actually glowed with a heart-palpitating dark red in the storm.

The icy rain hadn't even landed on the cannon barrels.

Before it was instantly vaporized by the extreme temperature, turning into clouds of white steam that enveloped the hideous turret.

“Rails are softening! Accuracy is dropping!”

zero's warning voice had never been so urgent.

“At this distance, I don't need accuracy.”

Jiang Ran's eyes had turned into a pure, eerie blue, a sign that his mental power was completely synchronized with the ship's systems.

He could feel the restlessness of those two special depleted uranium armor-piercing rounds inside the cannon bore.

He could feel that power, capable of destroying heaven and earth, searching for an outlet to vent.

This was a gamble where one inflicts a thousand damage on the enemy at the cost of eight hundred to oneself.

But as he said, this was the art of violence.

“For me... SHATTER!!!”

Accompanied by Jiang Ran's roar, he slammed the already hot firing handle all the way to the bottom.

“Dong—!!!”

This loud bang drowned out the thunder and the tsunami.

Even the black iron, this steel beast of several thousand tons, let out an overburdened wail at this moment.

The massive recoil was like an invisible giant hand, pressing the bow of the ship hard into the sea surface.

The entire ship was forced backward half a meter on the crest of a wave, and the bow sank abruptly, kicking up countless white sprays.

Two thick pillars of light, entwined with azure plasma flows, erupted simultaneously from the twin muzzles.

They were two heavy depleted uranium projectiles with an initial velocity pressurized to Mach seven and a mass three times that of the previous ones.

They flew side by side.

Connected in the middle by violent high-voltage electric arcs, they looked from a distance like a flattened, horizontally flying miniature sun.

Wherever they passed, seawater was evaporated and air was ionized.

A straight vacuum corridor formed instantly, only to be filled by the surrounding air in the next second, erupting in a deafening sonic boom cloud.

This was no longer a simple shot.

This was a heavy punch composed purely of kinetic energy.

Carrying an unreasonable arrogance, it smashed hard against that seemingly indestructible 'Wall of Sighs'.

It was too fast.

So fast that everyone on the Zhenhai didn't even have time to blink.

They could only watch helplessly as that ball of blue death light, like a meteor chasing the moon, arrogantly occupied their entire field of vision.

“Beng—!!!”

When those two depleted uranium projectiles, carrying hundreds of millions of joules of kinetic energy,

slammed into that honeycomb Light Shield, time seemed to stretch.

It was no longer the smooth deflection from before.

It was a most primitive and tragic struggle of strength.

The originally stable pale gold Light Shield erupted with a blinding white light at the point of contact.

The honeycomb grid structure contracted and twisted violently like crazy, trying to disperse and guide this terrifying kinetic energy to the surroundings.

“Warning! Force field overload! Load rate 300%!”

“Generator core temperature critical! Unable to deflect! Repeat! Unable to deflect!”

Inside the bridge of the Zhenhai.

The captain, who had been laughing wildly, had his expression frozen in an extremely ridiculous moment of terror.

He watched helplessly as the layer of light outside the window, which protected their lives,

dented inward to the limit under the pressure of the two heavy projectiles, like plastic wrap hit by a heavy hammer.

Energy roared, and the laws of physics wailed.

But this only lasted for less than 0.1 seconds.

“Kacha—!!!”

A crisp, heart-wrenching explosion drowned out the wind and thunder outside.

That was the sound of some precision instrument being completely burned out.

The expensive Magnetofluid Generators installed around the bridge finally couldn't withstand the backlash of this arrogant force.

They all exploded simultaneously in an instant.

Blue electric sparks and charred component fragments scattered like fireworks.

The Light Shield shattered.

The two depleted uranium armor-piercing rounds, now unimpeded,

though their speed had decreased slightly, still possessed enough remaining kinetic energy to destroy heaven and earth.

“Rumble!!!”

Without any pause, they carried an unrivaled violence and directly tore through the Zhenhai's proud composite armor.

It was like a red-hot knife cutting through butter.

The hard steel plates instantly melted and shattered.

The massive shockwave, carrying a high-temperature metal jet, penetrated the entire command center on the bridge's flank.

Then it drilled out hard from the other side, finally slamming into the sea behind, exploding into two water columns a hundred meters high.

“Zzz... zzz...”

Everything went quiet.

Only the rain continued to fall.

The left half of the once brightly lit Zhenhai bridge was now completely collapsed.

That so-called 'Absolute Defense Circle' had turned into a massive fiery hole several meters in diameter, with molten iron still dripping from its edges.

The cold wind, mixed with rain, poured mercilessly into that smoking black wound and into the hearts of all the survivors.

“Is this what you were relying on?”

On the black iron, Jiang Ran looked at that hideous shell hole.

Looking at that completely silenced steel fortress, he slowly released the already hot firing handle.

The blue light in his eyes gradually faded, but the suffocating sense of pressure was even stronger than before.

“The turtle shell is broken.”

Jiang Ran's voice echoed in the dead silent Command cabin, cold as a verdict from the abyss:

“I want to see... where you can hide now.”
