25: Chapter 25 Dragon's Roar Over the Vast Sea, Wind and Clouds Sweep, Elephant Treads on Waves, Sun and Moon Revolve

The sails of the catamaran billowed, making a snapping sound as they rode the wind and broke the waves, carrying them away from that deserted island.

The deserted island grew smaller and smaller at the horizon until it vanished, as if telling the end of one story and heralding the beginning of a brand new one.

Lu Chen held Yin Susu's slender waist in his arms, his gaze somewhat dazed. As he watched the scene from afar, seeing the island recede into the distance, an inexplicable sadness seemed to arise in his heart.

"Perhaps living here wouldn't be so bad?" Such a thought suddenly popped into Lu Chen's mind.

There was no 996 at Dongda from before his Transmigration here.

There were no hardships of trekking to America, and of course, none of the fun of repairing sewers for free in New York's wealthy districts.

Here, there was only him and Yin Susu, the two of them enjoying a quiet and comfortable life.

"I wonder if we'll ever be able to come back in the future?" Yin Susu sighed softly in his arms.

"What's wrong?" Lu Chen looked down at Yin Susu in his arms, his tone turning gentle as he rested his chin lightly on her hair, his eyes full of doting.

Yin Susu's heart stirred slightly. She looked up at Lu Chen with eyes full of confusion, not knowing why he had suddenly become so gentle toward her.

"You seem... a bit sentimental?" Yin Susu's tone was hesitant. She looked at Lu Chen, trying to find some inkling on his face, wanting to know exactly what kind of place she held in his heart.

Lu Chen looked at Yin Susu, a faint smile curling at the corner of his mouth. He reached out and gently flicked her nose. "What are you thinking about?"

"I'm just feeling a bit nostalgic; after all, this is the territory of my Xiaoyao Sect."

"Once I leave, it will be unguarded. If another Fairy wanders in, I won't be able to catch her to be my bandit wife..."

Yin Susu's cheeks flushed slightly. She looked at Lu Chen, her heart surging with emotion.

"Is he... is he implying that I'm a Fairy?"

"Hasn't he always called me a demoness of the Demon Cult, a cold-blooded female Devil Head?"

"Is he implying that I'm his bandit wife?"

"Hasn't he always said I'm only fit to be a concubine?"

Her heart rate quickened involuntarily.

However, past experience told her that every word Lu Chen said was full of traps.

Though she thought much, only one sentence reached her lips. "Chen... Brother Chen..." Yin Susu's voice trembled slightly, her tone filled with testing and longing. "Can we always be like this in the future?"

She knew she probably shouldn't ask such a thing, but deep in her heart, she still yearned to be with Lu Chen forever.

"Susu, as long as you're as well-behaved as you were in the hot spring last night and stay by my side, it's not impossible." Lu Chen looked at Yin Susu, his tone still gentle, but his eyes were full of dominance.

Yin Susu's heart skipped a beat.

Lu Chen reached out and pulled her tightly into his arms, his movements both tender and overbearing.

As if declaring that Yin Susu completely belonged to him, he looked at her and said, "Susu, go inside the cabin; the wind is strong!"

Held in Lu Chen's arms, Yin Susu's body trembled slightly, feeling as though her heart was about to leap out of her chest.

For a moment, it seemed the wind got in Yin Susu's eyes; her eyes reddened slightly, and her cheeks turned a deep crimson.

A single teardrop seemed to fall from the corner of her eye.

Lu Chen held Yin Susu's slender waist and carried her back into the cabin. Seeing the teardrop on her cheek, his eyes flickered slightly.

He leaned down and gently kissed that crystalline teardrop.

Yin Susu let out a soft moan as her body seemed to be drained of all strength. Soft as if boneless and as beautiful as peach blossoms, the two of them slowly collapsed onto the soft deer skin mat.

...

...

The sails were billowed by the sea breeze, and the ship rose and fell in the waves. The spray slapped against the gunwale, splashing white water like jumping spirits, adding a touch of brightness to this long voyage.

The so-called cabin was actually covered with deer and bear skins to provide shelter from the wind and rain.

The deer and bear skins gave off a faint wild scent; in this simple environment, there was a unique sense of warmth.

On the other side,

Xie Xun was silently cultivating the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Art. Since he learned how extraordinary this art was, a desire for supremacy had been ignited within him, and he practiced even more diligently.

Anyway, Lu Chen had already promised to tell him the secret of the dragon slaying saber, so he no longer bothered to think about it.

In contrast, Zhang Cuishan showed superb sailing skills. Standing at the bow with oars in hand, he pushed his Wudang Pure Yang Boundless Art to its limit, which served as another form of cultivation.

"Hero Zhang the Fifth, your method of rowing to Cultivate is truly excellent. By the time we return to the Central Plains, you will surely rank among the first-class experts!"

Inside the cabin, Lu Chen held the beautiful Yin Susu and teased Zhang Cuishan outside.

"Indeed! Sect Master Lu, I also feel that my Pure Yang Boundless Art has made considerable progress these past few days!"

Zhang Cuishan's voice was slightly weary as he sweated like rain, vigorously rowing the oars.

His eyes were filled with longing for home, wishing he could return to Wudang Mountain immediately to see his fellow brothers.

...

...

Two hours later.

Lu Chen and Yin Susu were fully dressed.

Sitting cross-legged inside the cabin, the two of them began to Cultivate the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Art once again.

Around Lu Chen's body, golden light flickered faintly.

Yin Susu sat opposite him and began to circulate her Internal Energy.

During this time, under Lu Chen's guidance, her progress in the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Art was significant. Combined with her previous months of practice, she had a good chance of achieving a Breakthrough to the first layer within two months.

This was already considered a Heaven-Defying feat.

"Susu, how do you feel?" Lu Chen slowly opened his eyes and looked at Yin Susu. His tone was gentle, and the doting in his eyes seemed capable of melting anything.

"I feel my strength has increased, as if I've become stronger, and my body... my body has become more resilient..." Yin Susu looked at Lu Chen, her tone full of joy.

"Mm, not bad." Lu Chen looked at Yin Susu, a faint smile curling his lips as he reached out to gently stroke her cheek. "Keep working hard; you will definitely become even stronger in the future."

"This Dragon-Elephant Prajna Art truly is a peerless divine art!" Lu Chen looked up at the cabin ceiling. "I feel as if I have merged into one with the world."

"Brother Chen... what else have you realized?" Yin Susu looked at Lu Chen, her tone carrying a hint of curiosity.

"Only after breaking through to the eleventh layer did I realize this isn't just a martial art," Lu Chen said, his eyes full of wisdom. "It is a way of cultivation, a means of sensing the world."

"I feel as if the faint sounds of a dragon's roar and an elephant's trumpeting are around my body." Lu Chen looked at his hands, his eyes full of excitement.

"Really? Unfortunately, I'm too dull; I likely won't ever reach your Realm in this lifetime." Yin Susu looked at Lu Chen, her eyes full of admiration.
