You could’ve just said there’s no way to make it, right? But you actually took a shortcut and got her back in time. Wasn’t my whole day’s effort and money wasted?"

"Are you two in a relationship?" Yang Chen asked.

Zhao Zhongyu retorted, "Of course."

"Since you’re in a relationship, why bother about one night? You can just plan to meet another time. Blaming me doesn’t seem fair, does it? Besides, you were urging me to get her back quickly when you got in the car. How was I supposed to know you were playing hard to get?" Yang Chen asked.
