Chapter 66: The Prospect of Getting a Private Jet

"But first, let me take you to your hotel," Timothy offered."Thank you," Hana bowed her head politely.

They both headed to the parking space of High Street. They arrived ten minutes later where Timothy opened the door for her.

Hana climbed up into the passenger seat, adjusting her skirt as she settled in. Timothy closed the door behind her before circling to the driver’s side. The Ford Raptor’s engine rumbled to life, its headlights cutting through the dimly lit parking structure as they rolled out onto the road.

The streets were calmer now, most of the crowd from earlier having dispersed, leaving only the glow of restaurants and bars still alive with customers. As they turned toward Shangri-La, Timothy’s eyes stayed focused on the road.

"Hana," he began, one hand resting on the wheel while the other tapped the armrest lightly, "starting tomorrow, I want you to find us an office space here in BGC. Something suitable for an executive headquarters."

Hana nodded, already pulling out her tablet. "Understood. How many square meters are you thinking?"

"At least five hundred to start with," Timothy said. "It should have a proper conference room, private offices, and space for at least thirty staff."

Her stylus scribbled quickly on the screen, notes already taking shape. "Budget range?"

Timothy smirked faintly. "I’ll leave that to you."

"I’ll narrow it down by tomorrow afternoon and give you three options," Hana replied.

Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the Shangri-La at the Fort. Timothy slowed the Raptor to a stop by the drop-off lane, the guards already approaching to assist.

Timothy stepped out first, the cool night air brushing against his face. He walked around to Hana’s side and opened the door for her.

"Thank you," Hana said softly as she climbed down, adjusting the strap of her handbag.

Timothy gave her a short nod before turning to one of the uniformed guards nearby. "I won’t be long. Mind if I leave the truck parked here for a few minutes?"

The guard glanced at the Raptor, then back at him. "That’s fine, sir. As long as it won’t take too long."

"Appreciate it," Timothy said, slipping the guard a polite nod.

Together, he and Hana entered the hotel lobby. The marble floors gleamed under the chandelier lights, and the scent of fresh flowers lingered faintly in the air. Behind the reception counter, staff in neat uniforms greeted them with polished smiles.

"Good evening, sir. How may I assist you?" the receptionist asked.

"I have a booking under Seo Hana," Timothy said smoothly. "Suite reservation, tonight onward."

The receptionist quickly typed into her computer, then looked up with a confirming nod. "Yes, Mr. Guerrero. Ms. Seo, we’ve prepared a suite for you. Everything is in order."

"Thank you."

Timothy turned slightly toward her. "This is where we part ways. Get some rest."


"You’re not coming up?" Hana asked, tilting her head.

Timothy shook his head. "No need. You’ll be fine from here."

"Alright. Good night, Mr. Guerrero."

"Good night, Hana."

With that, Timothy stepped back, watching briefly as the receptionist handed Hana her keycard and guided her toward the elevators. Only when the doors closed did he turn and head back out to the entrance, where the Raptor was waiting.

Inside, Timothy quickly left the drop-off point of the hotel and went back to the main road. He parked it right next to the curb and pressed the hazard lights button.

He had something on his mind. About the private jets he told Hana. The fact that he can own one made him feel excited. It’s a private jet after all. So he browsed from his Iphone for the models of the private aircraft from the Jet Business.

It showed on the results and Timothy tapped the first site that appeared. On the official website, he tapped the exclusive jets and checked what’s available. There were private jets that were a decade old ranging from Embraer, Dassault, and Gulfstream. But there is one aircraft that his eyes immediately caught on.

Timothy tapped the listing, and the screen filled with high-resolution photos. Sleek, polished white fuselage with sweeping lines, and an interior that looked more like a penthouse suite than an aircraft cabin. Wide seats that could fold into beds, conference-style tables, a galley, even a private suite with its own shower.

He scrolled down further, his eyes widening slightly as the specs appeared.

Range: 7,500 nautical miles.

Passenger Capacity: 19.

Price: $75 million.

Timothy let out a low whistle, leaning back against the driver’s seat. "Seventy-five million..."

It won’t even hit a dent on his balance. He could afford this aircraft.

He pictured it already, leaving Manila in the morning, arriving in Tokyo by noon, signing a contract, then flying straight to Singapore for another meeting, all in the same day. No delays, no waiting in lines, no relying on unreliable schedules. He has complete control in his time.

Time is money when building a business empire.

"Yeah," Timothy said to himself quietly. "The G700 is the one. Now who do I contact for this?"

Timothy scrolled further down the site until he found the "Contact Us" section. It listed a London headquarters address, but also a direct inquiries email and a 24/7 phone line for prospective buyers. A simple note underneath read: Private consultations by appointment only.

He copied the email address into his notes app, then saved the number as The Jet Business – Sales in his phone. For a moment, he hovered over the call button, tempted to ring immediately, but he stopped himself. It was already late evening in Manila, which meant it was still mid-afternoon in London. If he called now, he might get routed to an assistant, and that wasn’t how he wanted his first impression to go.

Better to plan it. He’d draft an email tonight, something short but direct, and then follow up with a call tomorrow when his schedule was clearer.

Timothy locked his phone and leaned back in the driver’s seat, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips. The idea of stepping onto his own jet—his company’s jet, suddenly felt less like a dream and more like a plan already in motion.
