109: King of the Sky! Third Floor!

The joys and sorrows of people are not interconnected.

While things were proceeding smoothly for Ye Ze,

outside the Secret Realm, the powerhouses from the Lionheart Kingdom and the Free Empire were in a state of complete collapse!

“All dead…”

“All dead!!!”

Dracula stared blankly at the nearly twenty corpses that had been teleported out.

“I don’t accept this! Why did this happen?!”

A total of thirty-four top-tier Tier 4 players from both nations combined had all perished!

This also meant that their desperate attempts to seize the Secret Realm’s treasure were almost certainly in vain!

Watching Dracula and Arthur’s furious expressions,

Tong Mo and the others from Huaxia felt a sense of relief…

Were their schemes and tricks useful?

Was it useful to desperately obstruct Huaxia?

At the same time, several Tier 6 powerhouses realized that there was an unexpected strong individual in Huaxia’s expedition team this time!

Even the Secret Realm’s treasure this time might be within reach!

Tong Mo stepped forward and warned, “Since your expedition team was completely wiped out, you should retreat quickly…”

“The capitals of your two nations are still waiting for you to defend them!”

However, Dracula was unmoved, a hint of madness appearing on his pale face:

“What if we don’t leave?”

“We’re staying here because we want to see a Mythical-grade item appear, is there a problem with that?”

Not only did he not leave, but all seven Tier 6 powerhouses from the Lionheart and Freedom nations remained there.

…

Inside the Secret Realm.

With Panda leading the way, Ye Ze felt much more relaxed, even planning to seize the opportunity to draw some traits.

When he reached Level 24, he still had one trait draw attempt unused.

Draw!

The twenty-fourth trait…

“You have drawn a Gold Legendary-grade trait: Sky King!”

“Sky King: Master of the skies, with peak flying and aerial combat abilities, capable of freely manipulating wind elements.”

Sky King… Seeing this trait, Ye Ze didn’t hesitate.

He immediately bestowed it upon the Demon Dragon!

This was because, apart from the Demon Dragon, no one else was currently capable of aerial combat.

Mantis could only fly short distances; and Fox Fairy couldn’t fly yet, seemingly because her realm hadn’t reached that level…

As a flying mount, the Demon Dragon’s flying and aerial combat abilities were also very important.

“Trait ‘Sky King’ successfully bestowed!”

“Summoned Beast: Magic Dragon of the End (Legendary ☆☆☆☆) has advanced → (Legendary ☆☆☆☆☆)!”

It was somewhat coincidental that these traits suitable for the Demon Dragon all seemed to be ‘King’-grade traits…

Overlord, Sky King.

And now, in terms of land, sea, and air, only the marine-type summoned beasts haven’t been thoroughly explored.

After advancing, Ye Ze discovered that the Demon Dragon gained a passive talent called ‘Sky King’.

Moreover, its wind element control increased by a full 200%!

Calling it the ‘Wind King’ wouldn’t be an exaggeration!

At this moment, a message from a Shadow Doppelganger suddenly came from Squirrel’s side!

“Right, Zhou Qi is a support class, and Liu Anran’s level is too low, so it might be difficult for them to pass the trial!”

Ye Ze realized that if they didn’t withdraw from the trial, they probably wouldn’t survive at all.

“In that case, why don’t I take over their trials.”

“Otherwise, the trial rewards would be completely wasted…”

Although he couldn’t go to other people’s trial stages, Ye Ze had conveniently left a Squirrel Shadow Clone with them!

It could be used for swapping positions!

With a thought, Ye Ze used the Squirrel Shadow Clone to learn that Liu Anran was in the [Puppet Killing Array—Water].

Zhou Qi was in the [Puppet Killing Array—Wind].

“Demon Dragon, you swap over and deal with the wind element Puppet Killing Array.”

“Fox Fairy, you go deal with the water…”

Ye Ze had just swapped the Demon Dragon and Zhou Qi’s Squirrel Shadow when he was met with Fox Fairy’s wistful gaze.

Then, during the ten-second ‘swap’ cooldown,

Fox Fairy clung to Ye Ze, her voice full of grievance…

“Master~ You’re actually making me help other women!”

“???”

Ye Ze looked helpless. “You’re already a cultivator, can’t you be more mature?”

Fox Fairy pouted.

But in the end, she obediently let Ye Ze swap her away.

As for Sword Saint Yi Xing, although a prolonged battle was difficult for him, he seemed to be able to hold on.

In the Puppet Killing Array, accompanied by earth-shattering explosive flames, the puppet stone statues were shattered by Panda’s single punches.

The explosive flames burned Panda, and green healing numbers appeared.

Half an hour later.

Without surprise, a trial completion prompt appeared before Ye Ze:

“You have cleared ‘Puppet Killing Array - Fire’, gaining rewards: 100 lotus petals, Elemental Core - Fire!”

“Elemental Core?”

Ye Ze looked at the fiery red, flame-shaped crystal in his backpack and checked its description:

“Elemental Core - Fire: Can be used to enchant equipment with high-grade fire attributes, or as an energy core.”

High-grade enchantment effect…

Even better than the core Ye Ze had once obtained from the Storm Dragon King!

High-grade enchantments not only provide elemental attack effects but also elemental skill effects… they are quite valuable.

Ye Ze put it into his backpack.

Immediately after clearing the trial, the item exchange interface for the second floor also opened:

“Tier 6 Advancement Pill” “Self-selected 5-8 Star Legendary Equipment” “Self-selected Legendary-grade Item”

On the second floor, the items available for exchange were completely upgraded, each requiring 300 lotus petals.

If Ye Ze wished, he could now exchange for two pieces of the strongest eight-star Legendary-grade equipment below Mythical grade!

But Ye Ze didn’t even think about it, resolutely giving up on the exchange!

The Secret Realm still had its final third floor, and it was clear that the rewards on the third floor…

Would very likely be the legendary Tier 7, or even Mythical-grade items!

Compared to these, the rewards on the second floor, no matter how strong, were merely average.

If he ran out of lotus petals to exchange then, he might just cry himself to death!

At the same time, everyone else’s trials also ended.

The four of them appeared simultaneously in the Daoist temple.

Liu Anran and Zhou Qi hadn’t left the dungeon yet; instead, they first handed their rewards to Ye Ze, a total of two hundred lotus petals, plus the two elemental cores of water and wind.

Sword Saint Yi Xing ultimately held on, completing the Secret Realm by himself.

But he still handed all his rewards to Ye Ze:

“Brother Ye, consider this a small repayment for saving my life.”

Ye Ze couldn’t help but shake his head and smile, but he still accepted the rewards: 100 lotus petals, plus an Elemental Core - Earth.

There was another reason for accepting all the lotus petals:

“The third floor Secret Realm trial is about to begin!”

“Condition to participate in the third floor Secret Realm trial: 1000 lotus petals required!”

1000 pieces!

Everyone combined only had a little over a thousand.

Therefore, the other three could only entrust the hope of clearing the third floor of the Secret Realm to Ye Ze:

“Brother Ye, we’re counting on you!”

“We can only leave the Secret Realm for now…”

“Why don’t you give me another Squirrel? If anything happens outside, I can inform you in advance.”

Listening to everyone’s words, and finally Liu Anran’s suggestion, Ye Ze nodded.

He let Liu Anran take a Squirrel Shadow Clone, as the Lionheart and Freedom nations were surely eyeing them outside.

Getting information beforehand would allow for better precautions before leaving.

After a final farewell, the three figures vanished, leaving the Secret Realm.

And Ye Ze also disappeared from his spot, using the 1000 lotus petal entry ticket to reach the third floor!

“Finally, am I going to witness a Mythical-grade item?”

Ye Ze murmured.

He saw that he seemed to have been teleported to a cave dwelling, faintly emitting golden light…

And in front of him, there was only one figure, made of stone… a stone man!

But this stone man had an extraordinary aura, ethereal and restrained.

Its form was quite strange, like a child, yet it had three heads and six arms, holding a long spear!
