193: Chapter 193 Jiangning Art Academy
After finishing his meal, Li Luo cleaned the dishes, then picked up his car keys and phone and walked toward the door.
He closed the security door, took the elevator downstairs, then unlocked his car and sat inside.
Opening the Ride-hailing service app, Li Luo prepared to start his day of taking orders.
Just as he was about to press the accept button, a new message suddenly popped up on his phone screen.
"Qin Huiwen: Handsome Guy, are you still driving the ride-hailing car today?"
Looking at the slightly familiar name on his phone, Li Luo thought for a few seconds before remembering.
Wasn't this the Girl who asked him to help her find a job? She seemed to be a student at the arts academy.
As for the message the Girl sent, Li Luo wasn't surprised.
After all, he hadn't blocked anyone from his moments; any of his friends could see them.
So he replied directly.
"Li Luo: I am. Do you need a ride?"
"Qin Huiwen: Yes, Handsome Guy. Do you have time now?"
"Li Luo: I have time. Send me the address, and I'll head over now."
"Qin Huiwen: Okay, Handsome Guy. I'll send you my location."
...
Looking at the address, Li Luo opened the navigation and followed the prompts toward his destination.
Jiangning Academy of Arts, North Gate.
Two young and beautiful Girls stood there. One of them spoke up.
"Wenwen, what did that Young Master say? Is he coming?"
"He's coming. He'll be here soon."
Su Jinyang nodded after hearing this.
"Then let's wait here for a while."
"I'm telling you, Yangyang, I really don't get it. Why is he driving for a Ride-hailing service when he's so rich? It's a complete waste of time," Qin Huiwen grumbled while looking at her phone.
"I don't get it either. There are plenty of things I don't get; how could we know what rich people are thinking?"
"Yangyang, do you think he's a real Second-generation rich, or is he faking it?"
Hearing this, Su Jinyang glanced at her Best Friend.
"I told you last time, regardless of whether it's true or false, we'll try to fish for some information when the time comes. Won't we have a general idea then?"
"Aren't you afraid that everything he says will be a lie?" Qin Huiwen replied curiously.
Su Jinyang smiled slightly upon hearing this. She didn't answer her Best Friend's question immediately, but instead asked her back.
"Do you think we lose anything if he lies?"
"Well, I guess not."
"Then that's that. No matter what he says, we'll just maintain an attitude of half-belief."
Su Jinyang said, then put on a calculating expression.
"If he's truly wealthy and just happens to like driving a ride-hailing car, then we'll try to get to know him."
"If he's really a fake who's just boasting, then we'll just treat him as a driver. Either way, we need a ride. After interacting a few times, he's bound to show his true colors."
Qin Huiwen nodded after hearing this.
"Alright, I'll listen to you."
Su Jinyang chuckled.
"It's right to listen to me. Stick with me, and you'll be living the good life sooner or later."
"Yes, you're my big sister." As she spoke, Qin Huiwen suddenly changed the subject.
"Yangyang, has that guy been bothering you lately?"
"Which one?" Su Jinyang said casually.
"Lv Heng, of course!"
"Are you doing this on purpose? You know he buys me breakfast every morning as soon as class starts, yet you still ask."
"Then why don't you just tell him the truth? Why keep him hanging every day?" Qin Huiwen's eyes darted around as she spoke somewhat slyly.
Su Jinyang didn't pick up on her Best Friend's tone. Just hearing those words made her instantly annoyed.
"Even you think I'm trying to keep him hanging? I've told him eight hundred times not to buy it for me, not to buy it for me!"
"He still buys it every time and puts it on my desk. It's so embarrassing, you know?"
Seeing her Best Friend getting a bit angry, Qin Huiwen dropped her mischievous mood and quickly comforted her.
"We won't be in school for much longer. Once we enter society, there should be fewer people like that."
Su Jinyang seemed not to have heard her at all. She suddenly put on a somewhat amused expression and said.
"Many people say I'm keeping him hanging, but I've already made things perfectly clear to him. He just won't listen. What can I do?"
"He actually said he wants to move me with his sincerity. I'm truly laughing. Doesn't he know that sincerity is the least valuable thing?"
After saying that, Su Jinyang showed a very speechless expression.
Qin Huiwen offered a few words of comfort, her tone becoming somewhat contemptuous.
"Alright, alright, don't dwell on this anymore. Since you've already told him, just let him be for the remaining time. A simp is just a simp; in the end, a simp has nothing."
"I am letting him be. If you hadn't asked, I wouldn't even have bothered to mention it."
At this point, Su Jinyang looked at her Best Friend.
"Send him a message and ask where he is. If it's still going to be a while, let's find a place to sit. Standing here like this isn't right."
"Okay, I'll ask..."
"What is it?"
Seeing her Best Friend suddenly staring at her without speaking, Su Jinyang was a bit confused.
"Speak of the devil, your simp is here."
As soon as she finished speaking, Su Jinyang realized that her Best Friend had been staring behind her.
Then, a voice that annoyed her immensely drifted into her ears.
"Yangyang, are you guys going out?"
Hearing this, Su Jinyang didn't bother to respond and simply kept a cold face.
Lv Heng, however, was unfazed. In his words to his roommates:
"Why does Yangyang only give me a cold face and not others? It's obviously because she likes me."
It's just because they're in school and she can't let go; she's a bit shy and doesn't dare to confess. Once they enter society together, their relationship will naturally improve.
Thinking of this, he continued.
"I happen to be going out too. I'll call a car."
Seeing her Best Friend wink at her, Qin Huiwen stepped forward and said.
"I've already called a car, so we don't need you. If you have something to do, just go ahead on your own!"
Lv Heng didn't look at her. He just casually tucked his phone into his pocket and said with a smile.
"Then that saves me the trouble of calling one. I'll just go with you in your car."
No wonder her Best Friend's expression had been a bit amused earlier; it really was ridiculous.
So Qin Huiwen looked at him and said flatly.
"I find you to be quite bizarre. Do you even know where we're going? And yet you say you're coming with us."
"Besides, did I ever agree to let you sit in the car we called?"
"Aren't you just going to buy clothes? So am I. As for the car, I'll just pay for it. It's no big deal." Lv Heng waved his hand, looking indifferent.
This time, before Qin Huiwen could speak, Su Jinyang suddenly said in an icy tone.
"How do you know we're going to buy clothes? Who told you?"
"Does someone need to tell me? Who in the class doesn't know you're going to buy clothes?"
Hearing this, Su Jinyang looked at her Best Friend.
"You told him?"
"I did tell some classmates about buying clothes, but that's nothing!" Qin Huiwen answered truthfully.
