Goodbye Shi Jingfeng, breakthrough in the Heart Blade realm.

Nine Dragons pulled the carriage through the air, streaking across the Void Realm.

A powerful Aura could be sensed even through the Void Realm.

Clouds Edge Cottage.

Mo Ru looked up, sensing that powerful Aura, his expression shifting.

"Someone is coming."

At the table, a man was bent over writing; hearing Mo Ru speak, he did not stand up.

He was writing with single-minded focus.

Seeing this, the two Study Attendants behind Mo Ru had eyes full of envy.

Mo Ru's eyes were filled with appreciation.

Who would have thought that a butcher who had laid down his blade would become just as formidable after picking up a brush?

The nine Dragons stopped in the sky above Clouds Edge Cottage.

Chu Xinghe appeared before Mo Ru in a flash.

"Senior, it's been a long time."

Mo Ru's mouth hung open as he pointed a finger at Chu Xinghe.

He glanced at Dragon One and the others in the sky, his eyes filled with nothing but shock.

He also sensed a faint, indistinct presence around the palace.

Like a ghost in the night, or a shadow.

It made one's skin crawl.

It had only been a few days since they last met.

What on earth had this kid done to become so terrifying?

"What have you been up to, kid? It's only been a few days, yet you've become so frightening. You alone could represent an overlord force."

Chu Xinghe shook his head.

"I wouldn't dare be so presumptuous before Senior."

Hearing Chu Xinghe's humblebragging, the corner of Mo Ru's mouth twitched.

"You two should have a chat."

Chu Xinghe nodded.

Mo Ru left the area with his Study Attendants.

Shi Jingfeng put down his brush and looked up at Chu Xinghe.

"How have you been lately?"

Chu Xinghe sat down casually.

Shi Jingfeng sat across from Chu Xinghe.

"Pretty good. This place suits me well. I've been focusing on cultivating my heart lately."

"I'll be able to Cultivate the Heart Blade in half a month at the latest."

A flash of pleasant surprise crossed Chu Xinghe's eyes.

This guy really was talented.

"And you?"

"Not bad. I took down the person who wanted to kill me back then, so I'm in a good mood."

Shi Jingfeng stared at Chu Xinghe.

"I've found traces of the eyes you gouged out before. I went out two days ago, but I didn't bring them back."

"Where are they?"

"Wangtian City, Chuzhou."

Chu Xinghe noted the location.

"Has this place been affected recently?"

"A little. A few days ago, Zhongli Qingmeng joined forces with various powers to destroy two overlord forces, Qinglu Academy and Mount Sumeru."

"Now many forces are living in fear. Even powers as strong as those two can be destroyed. Lately, things have actually become quite a bit calmer."

"The only thing causing a stir recently is the matter of the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Body. Innate Dragon Veins in many places have been dug up."

"Many Innate Origins born from heaven and earth have also been taken. As for who did it, no one has found out yet."

"Many forces have now united to provide resources to the Heavens Secret Pavilion for a calculation."

"The Heavens Secret Pavilion hasn't responded yet."

Chu Xinghe hadn't expected Zhongli Qingmeng to have evolved.

"Now, instead of just targeting Origins, she was targeting things born of heaven and earth."

"What would you do if it were you?"

Chu Xinghe looked at Shi Jingfeng and asked.

Shi Jingfeng looked up at Chu Xinghe.

"I would devour those Innate beings."

Chu Xinghe was stunned.

Who asked you that?

"I'm not the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Body,"

Chu Xinghe replied.

Shi Jingfeng nodded.

"I know, but rumors have already appeared that the Destiny might be the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Body."

Chu Xinghe's mouth hung open.

Who was slandering him?

Chu Xinghe's eyes narrowed.

This was getting interesting.

Now he was being framed as the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Body.

"Any news of Wen Rushui lately?"

Shi Jingfeng shook his head.

Chu Xinghe stretched, thinking about his next move.

"By the way, a Dao Artifact appeared in Qing Province a few days ago. It was a small bell."

"Many forces fought for it, but the small bell vanished again."

"Zhongli Qingmeng took people there but couldn't find it either."

Chu Xinghe took a sip of tea and spoke slowly.

"Qing Province really is a magical place."

"It always produces some oddities."

Chu Xinghe took a moment to admire Clouds Edge Cottage.

"Qinglu Academy was destroyed, yet Mo Ru wasn't affected at all."

Shi Jingfeng thought of the people who came that day.

"He is from the Mo Family."

The corners of Chu Xinghe's mouth curled up.

As expected, how could someone who could survive unscathed be that simple?

"Is time running out for me?"

Shi Jingfeng suddenly asked.

"Time is indeed running out."

"The eastern emperor bell has appeared, and the eyes I gouged out have also surfaced."

"How could there be such a coincidence? I previously became the Incarnation of the Destiny, and now the Destiny is about to become the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Body."

"I don't believe for a second that Wen Rushui's hand isn't behind this."

"Every time I appear, my strength grows, and the power around me increases significantly."

"When I show up this time, it will surely cause a massive stir."

"Many people will probably suspect I am the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Body."

Looking at Chu Xinghe's lack of concern,

Shi Jingfeng pondered for a moment.

"I see. You already anticipated this, and even figured out what method Wen Rushui would use to restrain you."

"To make her believe that you are indeed still alive."

"But in the end, she will find out you aren't alive. What is your goal in doing this?"

Chu Xinghe looked up at the sky.

"Fishing requires bait, and it also requires patience."

Chu Xinghe stood up after speaking.

"I'm leaving. Others have already set the stage; if I don't step in, it would be difficult for them."

Watching Chu Xinghe's departing figure, Shi Jingfeng stood up, walked to the side, and continued writing.

Mo Ru walked over and looked at Shi Jingfeng's calligraphy.

"Your heart is unsettled."

With a flick of Shi Jingfeng's brush, it returned to how it was before.

After a short while, it shifted back and forth.

"You are imitating him."

Shi Jingfeng did not put down his brush, nor did he look up.

"Since I came here and started practicing calligraphy, I've followed the rules, stroke by stroke. That was the old me."

"He is different from me. He doesn't play by the rules and is always unpredictable. He thinks three steps ahead and never lets you see his trump cards."

"Actually, people are like characters. A character only has so many strokes, but everyone's way of writing is different. Some write a character in one smooth motion, while others follow the rules and write it stroke by stroke."

Mo Ru became interested.

"Go on."

"Most of us are like the characters on the page, written by a brush."

"But what he wants to be is the one holding the brush. I cannot reach that Concept."

"However, I can be a brush."

After Shi Jingfeng finished speaking,

His entire body faintly intertwined with the surrounding dao rhyme, and they underwent Fusion.

Seeing this, Mo Ru's pupils dilated.

Shi Jingfeng suddenly wrote the character for 'Kill' on the paper.

The surrounding Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi continuously poured into this 'Kill' character.

Within Clouds Edge Cottage, killing intent rose from all sides.

Mo Ru and the two Study Attendants stood frozen on the spot.

Holy crap, did you eat the Great Dao?

Could it be any more exaggerated?

Shi Jingfeng put down his brush.

"The Heart Blade is complete."
