18: Card-making Purple Flame Snake Spear!

Chapter 18: Card Creation – Purple Flame Serpent Spear!

“Do you want to watch your card being made?”

After Jiang Yuan entered the card creation room, he didn't rush to start. Instead, he recovered his Star Power while asking Nezha beside him.

Although his Star Power had mostly recovered while purchasing the material cards after manifesting Nezha,

Jiang Yuan was a bit of a perfectionist, so he naturally wanted to restore his Star Power to its peak before proceeding with card creation.

Of course, it also had a little to do with how expensive the newly purchased material cards were.

After all, he hadn't expected that the money spent on Nezha’s weapon would be enough to create several Nezha cards.

While it was true that creating a blue Nezha card had used up all the luck he had accumulated over eighteen years, those materials were indeed very expensive.

Five blue material cards, "Fire Dragon Fish Whiskers," cost thirty-five lower-grade star spirit stones.

One blue weapon card, "Measuring Iron Rod," cost thirty lower-grade star spirit stones.

One blue material card, "Earth Vein Rock Iron," cost fifteen lower-grade star spirit stones.

One blue material card, "Golden Edge Sharp Iron," cost twenty lower-grade star spirit stones.

One blue material card, "Chilling Cold Rock," cost twenty lower-grade star spirit stones.

Among these five materials, only "Fire Dragon Fish Whiskers" was the cheapest, but a significant quantity of "Fire Dragon Fish Whiskers" was needed.

There was no need to mention the remaining weapon cards; their high price was normal.

Only the two rock irons that could increase the sharpness of the weapon were the most expensive.

However, the Fire Tipped Spear really needed this.

After all, the most famous aspects of the Fire Tipped Spear, besides spitting fire, were its sharpness.

“It cost a lot of money.”

Jiang Yuan sighed, more than a third of the assets he had just acquired today were gone before they even had a chance to warm up.

It was truly heartbreaking.

“Hehe, don't worry about that, hurry up and make it! I can barely wait!”

Nezha laughed brightly, not at all bothered by the money, instead urging Jiang Yuan to create it quickly.

After all, this was his own weapon!

It was a hard-won weapon, and Jiang Yuan had even said he would make a good one.

“Alright, alright, don’t rush me, I’m starting now.”

Jiang Yuan glanced at Nezha and sighed, truly a case of a child selling the family land without a pang of conscience.

After shaking his head, Jiang Yuan immersed himself in his consciousness space.

In his consciousness space, there were already two cards: a gray, dim Nezha, and a golden, glowing Linglong Pagoda.

“Soon there will be a third card.”

Jiang Yuan smiled slightly, then summoned a blank card and began to draw.

First, he outlined the spearhead of the Fire Tipped Spear.

Although Nezha’s Fire Tipped Spearhead was like a flame, that was when it was in motion.

The card pattern Jiang Yuan drew was static, so it was still outlined as a normal spearhead.

However, compared to the spearheads of ancient warriors, Jiang Yuan also added two blades near the shaft, based on the mythological description of the Fire Tipped Spear's "three prongs."

After the spearhead was outlined, next came the shaft.

The outlining of the shaft was relatively simple, but Jiang Yuan also added some golden flame patterns to it.

Although he didn't know if Nezha would ever let go of the Fire Tipped Spear when using it, Jiang Yuan still added golden flame patterns for anti-slip purposes.

Not only that, but with the addition of the golden flame patterns, the Fire Tipped Spear also looked much cooler.

Given Nezha's flamboyant personality, he would probably love it.

After the spear shaft was completed, next was the spear butt.

Like the spearhead, Jiang Yuan also chose the "three-pronged" design for the spear butt.

After the spear butt was also outlined, a Fire Tipped Spear was drawn.

However, it looked bare and not very appealing; it still needed a few strokes of red tassels!

After the red tassels were added, the Fire Tipped Spear officially took shape.

But Jiang Yuan looked at the Fire Tipped Spear in the image before him and frowned.

It couldn't just be a bare long spear, could it?

A white background—how unappealing was that?

After some thought, Jiang Yuan finally decided on a background.

Hmm, Chen Tang Pass.

After all, Nezha's first battle with the Fire Tipped Spear was chasing Li Jing in Chen Tang Pass.

Jiang Yuan chuckled, then began to outline Chen Tang Pass.

The background of Chen Tang Pass was relatively easy to draw: a city standing by the sea, with three large characters on its gate.

Chen Tang Pass!

“Done!”

After the background was completed, the image of the Fire Tipped Spear gained a touch of epic grandeur.

Next was the naming.

Jiang Yuan excitedly rubbed his hands, then began to name it.

After hesitating for a moment, Jiang Yuan finally decided to name it the purple flame serpent spear!

This was the full name of the Fire Tipped Spear in Nezha’s hand.

“Fire Tipped Spear” was too general; Red Boy’s weapon was also a Fire Tipped Spear.

But Red Boy’s Fire Tipped Spear paled in comparison to the one in Nezha’s hand.

“I hope it works!”

After naming it, Jiang Yuan also became nervous; he was truly afraid that, like when he created the Linglong Pagoda, the card's effect wouldn't meet the naming requirements, ultimately leading to card creation failure.

Fortunately, to Jiang Yuan's trepidation, the card directly shimmered with light.

“Good, good.”

Jiang Yuan rejoiced in his heart; upon exiting his consciousness space, he saw Nezha staring intently at him.

“What the—!”

Jiang Yuan was startled: “What’s wrong with you?”

“Hehe, I just can’t wait,” Nezha scratched his head, a bit embarrassed.

“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely equip you with a weapon today.” Jiang Yuan sighed helplessly, but then directly manifested the purple flame serpent spear.

“How does this appearance look?”

As Jiang Yuan spoke, Nezha immediately leaned in: “It’s cool, I love it!”

After Nezha’s excitement, he pointed to the city in the card’s background and asked.

“By the way, what is Chen Tang Pass?”

“Hmm, a place.”

Jiang Yuan hesitated for a moment, then finally chose to say something useless.

Nezha, without the memories from mythology, naturally wouldn't know what Chen Tang Pass was.

Explaining it in detail would be too troublesome, so it was better to leave it at that for now.

“Hmm, a good useless statement.”

Nezha stroked his chin, nodded seriously, then gave Jiang Yuan a sidelong glance.

“Less nonsense, are you going to let me make the card or not?”

“Yes, yes, yes!”

Nezha grew anxious and quickly spoke.

“Can’t I handle you?”

Jiang Yuan’s lips curled slightly, then he began to drag the material cards into the purple flame serpent spear.

As the material cards entered, the Fire Tipped Spear in the purple flame serpent spear's image began to glow.

From the spearhead, to the shaft, to the spear butt.

As Jiang Yuan dragged in the last of the "Fire Dragon Fish Whiskers" one by one, the red tassels on the Fire Tipped Spear slowly turned crimson.

As the last of the "Fire Dragon Fish Whiskers" merged into the card, the Fire Tipped Spear's red tassels transformed into a fiery appearance, and the entire card also shimmered with blue light.

“It’s done!”

Jiang Yuan shouted excitedly, reaching out to grab the card.

But just then, an anomaly occurred!
