362: Ratman Bandits

Chapter 362: Ratman Bandit Group

The next second, Wu Xian put Void Sun Star Lord away.

He then glanced at the blue sky and white clouds of the Elf Realm and chuckled inwardly.

Although Void Sun Rat could be used, it was likely due to a 'special amnesty' for the rat race, but the Twenty-Eight Mansions were a whole.

In short: Who made him a rule-abiding person? He wouldn't do something like use a back door.

Either all the Twenty-Eight Mansions were released, or none of them were. Just releasing Void Sun Rat made it very difficult for him, as the 'head of the family,' to manage!

"Why put it away?" Miao Youyou asked, puzzled.

Xue Lingling and Tang Beng also looked at him with confusion.

Since it could be used, why put it away?

Was he going against himself?

Wu Xian smiled without answering, and instead pulled out his natal god of wealth as a temporary substitute.

Little did he know, once the God of Wealth appeared, Miao Youyou and the others were even more speechless. "Oh ~ is Little Wu's humanoid scroll also of the Elf-type?"

"My scroll’s conceptual components are quite complex; it touches on a bit of everything," Wu Xian casually prevaricated.

Miao Youyou's expression was odd. "It doesn't look like it?"

The idea of fusing multiple styles was not uncommon. Many of the Miao Family's cats were designed with multi-style Fusion.

Zhou Qi's Netherworld Fiend was a typical example of an Undead System + Insect-type Fusion concept, and it was a perfectly integrated one at that.

The key was that once a certain style was incorporated into the design, the scroll painting spirit would also exhibit related stylistic features.

However, the black-bearded humanoid painting spirit before them showed no trace of 'elf-style' features or elements.

"It really doesn't look like it," Xue Lingling and Tang Beng agreed wholeheartedly.

All along, everyone in the Underworld Club had been quite curious about this humanoid scroll that Wu Xian kept hidden.

"Can't you tell?" Wu Xian glanced at the God of Wealth beside him, and a thought struck him. He blurted out, "Don't you think this golden ingot is very cute and has an elf-like style?

And this black Divine Tiger sitting below, isn't that clearly an elf-style?"

Everyone looked at the black Divine Tiger beneath the God of Wealth in astonishment, speechless.

"Does an innate mount count?" Miao Youyou's eyes flickered, as if she had an epiphany. "Sister understands. When designing multi-style Fusion concepts, it's not necessary to blend all elements together. You can completely integrate them by attaching external objects."

"So that's it," Xue Lingling's eyes lit up. "Does that mean that as long as the elements are part of the same scroll, they can theoretically be recognized by the Four Gods Ban?"

Watching them excitedly discuss and analyze, Wu Xian was also stunned.

He had just said it casually, but it actually inspired them.

And the key was that this idea actually made some sense.

"Little Xianzi, what a great discovery!" Tang Beng couldn't help but get excited. "Later, we'll add a little elf-style pet to our Brother Zhuzi, just for cuteness. Its combat power isn't important."

"It's not too much for the dignified Ghost Emperor of the Netherworld to keep a small pet, is it?" Xue Lingling's inspiration surged.

Seeing the two eagerly beginning to experiment, Wu Xian was torn between laughter and tears.

If this idea worked, that would be fine, but if it didn't, how would he explain the God of Wealth?

However, speaking of which, Wu Xian was also quite curious about this point.

Tang Beng's Brother Zhuzi's situation was harder to manage, as it required various special equipment, so only preliminary conceptualization could be done at the moment.

But Shifu-jie was different; she could speak up and start working with a pen in hand.

Even when they encountered a group of monsters from the Elf Realm trying to rob them later, it still couldn't stop Shifu-jie's enthusiasm.

"This mountain is mine, this tree is mine. If you want to pass this way, leave your toll!"

"You people on that broken ship, listen up! This is the territory of our noble rat race. If you want to pass through here, leave some benefits."

"Hmm? Why is there an unpleasant stench?"

"Oh no, it's the smell of cats!"

"What are you panicking about? What's our rat race's status now? Are we still afraid of cats?"

"Hehe, we just haven't adapted yet!"

"So, what? You dead cats on the ship, aren't you going to kneel and kowtow to us rat lords?"

Wu Xian and the others looked at the chattering, upright, rat-like ratman bandits below, and for a moment, they exchanged glances, unable to complain.

The few ratmen were all elite monsters, around level thirty in strength. The leader was a commander-level elf, carrying a spiked club on his shoulder and wearing an eye patch, looking just like a pirate.

"Are the rat race monsters in the Elf Realm so arrogant now?" Tang Beng said, somewhat playfully.

"They're divine relatives, after all," Miao Youyou teased. "For them to be able to speak human language and possess such intelligence at this level, they probably have a closer blood relationship with the Emperor Spirit of the Void and have received the blessing and enlightenment of True God Bloodline."

"No wonder," Wu Xian realized.

For True Gods, it was normal to have such a thing as Bloodline power.

With one side in the air and the other on the ground, Wu Xian and the others couldn't be bothered with these fun-loving rat race individuals.

However, they underestimated the abilities of these monsters, who were close relatives of the True God.

Just as the luo feng vessel tried to fly directly over, the space ahead seemed to become 'muddy,' making it impossible to fly.

Only then did they realize why the fun-loving rat race below had the confidence to intercept airborne units.

"It seems we can't pass without dealing with them," Wu Xian said, resigned.

Tang Beng couldn't help but worry, "If we kill them, will the True God come after us?"

"Don't worry," Miao Youyou said nonchalantly. "The rat race is incredibly prolific, and they have countless relatives. How could they care about the lives of such distant, minor relatives?"

As she spoke, the two-tailed black cat shrieked and pounced down.

The cat scrolls of the Miao Family women followed closely, forming a cat army to exterminate rats.

"Oh ho ~ you dare to resist?" The leading ratman sneered contemptuously. "Don't you see whose territory this is?"

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The few ratmen instantly turned into 'flash' maniacs, using their flash abilities as if they had no cooldown or mana cost.

The cat scrolls, known for their agility, couldn't even touch the ratmen.

"A bunch of dead rats!" Miao Youyou's eyes were cold, seemingly holding an inexplicable disdain for these rats. "If it weren't for their reliance on the True God Bloodline, they wouldn't have the right to challenge my cats."

The Miao Family women fought with increasing ferocity, using various talent skills in rotation, engaging in a back-and-forth battle with the ratman bandit group.

Gradually, the ratman bandits also realized the power of these cat scrolls and became serious.

"As expected of our rat race's natural enemy, they're indeed not so easy to deal with!" The leading ratman grunted, instructing his subordinates to adjust their combat strategy. "Everyone, stay alert! Don't disgrace our rat race True God!"

Subsequently, a bizarre scene unfolded.

The ratmen flashed nimbly, their figures intertwining, and the power around their bodies began to resonate in synergy.

Immediately after, piercing squeaks echoed, making people's hearts race and their bodies uncomfortable.

Even more preposterously, the ratmen's attacks began to carry spatial attribute effects.

A single claw swipe could leave shallow spatial rift claw marks in the air, and the damage instantly increased.

"Damn it," Miao Youyou's face turned ugly. "Are these dead rats the Emperor Spirit of the Void's biological sons or something?"

Attacks that carried the power of the Law of space and tore through space were hard for even Miao Youyou's two-tailed black cat to withstand, let alone the cat scrolls of the other Miao Family women.
