30: Chapter 30: Six Riders Against 30,000 Enemies?

In all likelihood, Xu Xuan had killed too ruthlessly yesterday, occupying a vast expanse of land in one breath and driving away more than twenty lords.

After all, this area was the territory of the Japanese Lords, with a total of one hundred million Japanese Lords in the surrounding area.

Even if there were one hundred million lords plus 100 savages each, the population of this area would reach a staggering 10.1 billion!

If it weren't for the existence of the Floating Island, Xu Xuan could have just surrendered right at the start.

Hiding behind the trees, Xu Xuan watched the crowd gathering in the distance; he roughly estimated there were at least thirty thousand people.

These Japanese Lords had gathered here specifically to launch a crusade against Xu Xuan.

With so many enemies before him, the only good news was that the opponent's level of technology was still stuck in the Stone Age.

At least, after observing for a long time, Xu Xuan noticed the savages were carrying stone axes and simple bows and arrows.

Some lords among them did indeed possess bronze weapons, but they hadn't been widely popularized yet.

Hiding in the grass, he observed the thirty thousand-plus savages on the plain, and in the very center, he saw a flag they had erected.

It was a flag made of wild boar skin, with the emblem of three mountains branded onto it; this was the headquarters of the Yamamoto-gumi.

Xu Xuan observed closely and found that these Japanese Lords were all gathered under the Yamamoto flag.

Yamamoto Aratora sat on a small wooden stool, while the other lords knelt on the ground, creating an atmosphere completely reminiscent of a Japanese yakuza display.

This group lacked the temperament of lords, giving off the vibe of young thugs or mobsters.

The person sitting on the small stool was indeed Yamamoto Aratora; he was intentionally shirtless, revealing dense tattoos all over his body, with a "descending tiger" tattooed across his back.

This buzz-cut Yamamoto Aratora had a face full of scars and was wearing sunglasses, giving off the impression that he might lash out and devour someone at any moment.

Those kneeling in the front row were also a group of tattooed individuals, mostly members of the Yamamoto-gumi.

Further down were the lords subservient to the Yamamoto-gumi, such as the likes of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Takeshita Asuka.

With the wild boar skin flag printed with three mountains hanging behind him, there was a distinct feeling of a Shogun and his retainers.

Yamamoto Aratora looked around, and seeing the crowd growing larger, he spoke: "I don't think we need to wait until tomorrow. This afternoon! This afternoon we can set out to attack that Xia country lord."

"Tokugawa, are your cloud-climbing ladders ready?!"

Yamamoto Aratora spoke with a Japanese gangster accent, shouting orders at Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Tokugawa Ieyasu bowed and scraped incessantly: "My Lord, I have already had two hundred cloud-climbing ladders manufactured."

"Two hundred cloud-climbing ladders should be enough. We'll mobilize the army to attack the Floating Island directly, lest delay brings trouble."

Yamamoto Aratora waved the banana leaf in his hand, signaling the troops to move.

He hadn't expected that once the name of the Yamamoto-gumi was put out there, so many surrounding lords would join.

It was mainly because everyone was already furious at Xu Xuan's actions. This was clearly Japanese territory; how did a Xia country lord dare to come and look down on them?

The gathered thirty thousand-plus tribal warriors were there to give that arrogant Xu Xuan a harsh lesson.

The number of lords participating in the crusade against Xu Xuan far exceeded everyone's imagination, and more people were still gathering.

In just one morning, over a hundred surrounding lords had been attracted.

Holding an army of thirty thousand, Yamamoto Aratora had never fought such a well-resourced battle in his life.

In the past, he was just the boss of a violent group in Japan, leading at most a few hundred underlings into a fight.

Commanding these tens of thousands for the first time, and seeing the momentum of over thirty thousand savages, Yamamoto Aratora began to feel lightheaded, feeling that they could drown Xu Xuan with their spit alone through sheer numbers.

The intelligence he had now was that Xu Xuan's tribe only had over two hundred savages, and half of them were females.

Looking at the forces Yamamoto Aratora had on hand now, they were all male savages mobilized from various tribes, totaling over thirty thousand!

Judging solely by the scale of the forces, taking the Floating Island would be effortless!

As for the cloud-climbing ladders they had created this time, they had hooks on top, specifically designed for boarding the Floating Island.

As long as they charged up with the cloud-climbing ladders and secured the hooks onto the Floating Island, they would basically be halfway to success!

Over thirty thousand people would swarm like ants, using these two hundred-plus cloud-climbing ladders to scale the Floating Island and successfully seize it!

At this moment, a beautiful vision of boarding and occupying the Floating Island had already emerged in Yamamoto Aratora's mind.

A Floating Island!

If such a territory could be captured, it could later be transformed into a Mobile City or a mobile war fortress.

"Prepare to move out immediately! Mobilize all thirty thousand men for me!!!"

As Yamamoto Aratora raised his fist, the hundreds of lords following him stood up one after another and began to mobilize the savage troops.

Looking out, the entire plain was filled with tribal warriors dressed in animal skins and holding stone axes.

With so many people attacking the Floating Island, Xu Xuan currently had only one choice.

Run!

Abandon the lands he had just occupied and use the speed of the Floating Island to shake off this crowd directly.

As long as he wanted to escape, these japanese people couldn't catch him.

But Xu Xuan was somewhat unwilling; as a lone wolf facing a hundred million Japanese Lords, it was indeed very difficult to hold out.

Even if he escaped today, upon reaching the next place, he would still have to face other Japanese Lords huddling together for warmth.

Fleeing was not the solution; finding a way to eliminate the enemy's effective strength was the essence of guerrilla warfare.

But facing the enemy's dense mass of savages, did he have any other way?

Watching them assemble their tribes, Xu Xuan narrowed his eyes as if he had thought of something.

He glanced at the thirty thousand savages on the plain before him.

Then he looked at the hundreds of lords gathered nearby.

These japanese people were very lax, perhaps because they were certain that Xu Xuan was the only Xia country lord around. Consequently, these lords were sitting on the ground by the stream, camping and barbecuing, with only a few hundred savages standing guard nearby.

The Japanese Lords were disconnected from the bulk of their forces, with only a few hundred guards by their side...

In that case...!?

A bold idea sprouted in Xu Xuan's mind.

He glanced at the horses behind him, then at the unsuspecting Japanese Lords who were eating roasted meat.

Hardening his heart, Xu Xuan spoke: "Hu Zi Niu, and you guys, do you dare to charge with me?"

When they heard this, the savages were stunned: "Chief, there are six of us and seven horses in total; we're going to charge against tens of thousands of enemies?"

Instead, Hu Zi Mei patted her chest directly: "Charge! If the Chief tells me to charge, I will never retreat!"

At the critical moment, Hu Zi Mei's courage was indeed commendable.

Coupled with Xu Xuan's Prehistoric Conqueror title, which provided a morale boost, these savages hardened their hearts.

"We are willing to follow the Chief's arrangements!"

"Very good, warriors of the Floating Island, mount your horses and follow me!"

Saying so, Xu Xuan slung his bow, took up his bronze spear, and flipped onto a white horse. With a squeeze of his legs, the horse accelerated out of the dense forest, charging towards the enemy lords.
