504: Yan Feiyu is resurrected?

“Third Master, now that Seventh Master has returned, what do you plan to do next?” the Master asked, sitting before Third Master.

“Teacher, which matter are you referring to?” Third Master asked, setting down his chess piece and looking at the Master.

“Naturally, the matter of Gu Ancestor.”

“You can hide it from others, but you can’t hide it from me.”

“Gu Ancestor is currently in a coma, but in fact, he has been afflicted by a Death Curse spell.”

“The methods of the Death Curse Clan can only be undone by the Death Curse Clan; outsiders have no possibility of undoing it.”

“You previously promised Curse that Gu Ancestor would awaken within a month. Where do you plan to find the Death Curse Clan to help him break the Curse?” the Master asked, staring intently at him.

Third Master smiled calmly upon hearing this: “Teacher’s observational skills are keen; this Disciple is impressed.”

“Stop flattering me.”

“Third Master, I know your capabilities. Your steps have now surpassed mine, which I am very pleased about and proud of you for.”

“But regarding the Death Curse Clan, this is absolutely not something that can be easily accomplished. What do you plan to do?” the Master asked directly.

Third Master had no choice but to completely shift his thoughts from the chessboard, looking at the Master and answering seriously: “Teacher, I have already arranged this matter.”

“I know what Teacher is worried about, but I always act with absolute certainty.”

“The matter of Gu Ancestor is of great importance, involving the heavenly secrets of this world.”

“Please forgive this Disciple, but I cannot explain too much to Teacher about this matter for now.”

Seeing his Disciple speak so sincerely, the Master naturally did not press further.

He sighed, “Alright.”

“I won’t ask about the remaining matters.”

“But Third Master, I still need to remind you: don’t be too hasty in anything; proceed step by step.”

Third Master nodded: “This Disciple has learned.”

Subsequently, the Master’s figure turned and left Third Master’s room.

Third Master’s gaze once again returned to the chessboard before him… In an instant, his Soul suddenly entered the chessboard.

At the deepest part of this chessboard was a peculiar Karma space.

All around were Void Realms formed by Karma Power; this was a special space independent of the world.

With the existence of this Karma Power, anything that happened within this space would not be detected by outsiders.

Not even a wisp of heavenly Karma could escape.

Third Master entered this Karma space, only to see Yan Feiyu’s figure floating in the Void Realm before him.

At this moment, Third Master’s gaze became exceptionally firm and serious. He injected a Soul Seed, enveloped in a strand of Karma Power from his finger, into Yan Feiyu’s glabella.

“Karma is King, Heaven and Earth invert!”

“Ancestor’s Divine Decree, all things unyielding!”

“Birth, old age, sickness, and death, all determined by me!”

“Order of Heaven and Earth, I summon you back!”

“Unseal!”

Third Master’s Karma imprint entered Yan Feiyu’s body, completely unsealing the Soul Seed, which began to undergo Fusion within Yan Feiyu’s body.

Yan Feiyu couldn’t help but let out a painful shriek. His consciousness was being erased, and his Soul was being forcibly replaced.

He had no power to resist, and he didn’t want to resist either.

He could feel that the power occupying his body made him feel incredibly warm, as if this was his destined Destination.

Gradually, his reactions slowly disappeared.

Everything within his body was completely replaced.

Third Master watched all of this before him, silent, merely observing quietly.

About half a day passed.

Yan Feiyu’s body finally reacted, his limbs twitching slightly.

Immediately after, his eyes also opened.

However, the current Yan Feiyu gave no sense of his presence.

His aura was gone; if not for seeing him with one’s eyes, he would be completely undetectable by perception alone.

And his gaze was completely different from before.

The current Yan Feiyu’s eyes no longer held the former high spirits, sharpness, and flamboyance.

Instead, there was an extremely profound depth of character, and a weary nonchalance, as if he had already witnessed the life and death of the Universe.

After Yan Feiyu awakened, his gaze quickly fell upon Third Master.

He carefully scrutinized him, and finally, with an unchanged voice, he spoke: “How should I address you? Master? Or…”

Third Master smiled slightly: “Although I possess a wisp of his Life Soul, it is not my main Soul.”

“As for what to call me, you can simply call me Third Master.”

Yan Feiyu understood: “So that’s how it is.”

“I understand.”

“Then, may I ask what you need me to do, now that you have revived me?”

Third Master then said: “Your revival was a joint decision between me and your Master.”

“He has always regretted your demise back then.”

“For countless eons, he has been searching for a way to revive you, and eventually, he found me.”

“With a way to revive you, and coincidentally, there’s a mess in this Universe, it can be considered Karma cycling.”

“The place of your revival is also the place of your birth.”

Yan Feiyu nodded, digesting all the memories in his mind.

He understood the current situation of this Universe and the plight of the Death Curse Clan.

“I never imagined that after so many years, the Death Curse Clan, once considered the strongest race alongside the Human Race, would decline to such an extent.”

“This is truly…” Yan Feiyu shook his head, smiling disappointedly.

“With you here, for the Death Curse Clan to return to its Peak is but an instant.”

“There’s no need to dwell on it too much.” Third Master said.

Yan Feiyu shook his head: “No.”

“Every race has its own destiny and cycle. Furthermore, the development of a race requires a hundred flowers to bloom to maintain prosperity and continuation.”

“If it relies solely on one person, it can be preserved for a time, but not for an eternity.”

“Moreover, the current Death Curse Clan… its Bloodline Power is already incredibly thin.”

“Some of the descendants and inheritors of the past have already turned to dust.”

“Since that’s the case, there’s no need to dwell on it anymore.”

Third Master looked at him with satisfaction: “It seems dying once has changed you a lot.”

“Your Master told me that you used to value the development of your descendants the most.”

Yan Feiyu smiled faintly: “Before I died, I thought it was a responsibility I had to fulfill. Who made me the Ancestor of the Death Curse Clan?”

“But after dying… now I feel that shedding that so-called responsibility actually aligns more with this so-called Karma cycle.”
