13: Chapter Thirteen: A Bountiful Harvest

"Hide ID," Lin Feng said without hesitation. The last global first-kill announcement had already left him feeling uneasy. If another server-wide announcement happened, how would he live? He was just a nobody with no status and no background; he couldn't afford to be targeted by so many people.

"Ding!" "Now initiating server-wide announcement: A player from the Blue Star Region, xxxx, has become the first to clear the solo Secret Realm (Level 10) stage. Rewards: 10,000 gold coins, 500 prestige points, +5 Charisma. All players in the Blue Star Region gain a 20% experience bonus for three days."

Three times in a row, the system prompt reverberated across the entire God Realm universe, reaching the ears of every online player! In an instant, the entire God Realm went completely crazy.

"Did I hear that right? A server-wide first clear of a Level 10 Secret Realm? Where is the Secret Realm? I want to go too."

"You idiot upstairs, you struggle to kill a chicken and you're thinking about raiding a Secret Realm? Are you tired of living?"

"Thanks, Boss! 20% EXP buff! Lying down and winning feels so good!"

"Hacking! This guy is definitely hacking, I'm reporting him!"

"Report your ass. This is a player from our Blue Star Region. A boss like this will lead us in cross-server battles later. Can you have some perspective?"

"Right... right, now that you put it that way, I guess I was wrong."

"I suspect this person must have drawn a hidden talent; otherwise, the gap wouldn't be this huge!"

"Finding this boss is simple; just check the level leaderboard," it must be in the top ten.

"There's no level leaderboard here, though. How long until we can see it? Any experts want to chime in?"

"According to rumors, the regional and server-wide leaderboards will open once the first player in the region completes their class advancement. I don't know if it's true, though..."

Lin Feng looked at the world chat, feeling a headache coming on, and quickly closed the channel.

This damn system really had no integrity. He had specifically hidden his ID, clearly wanting to avoid fame!

Damn it, the ID was hidden, but it announced the Blue Star Region. Didn't that just lock down the scope? It was really a...!

Lin Feng felt a bit dejected, but then his gaze shifted to the pile of glittering loot beside the Phoenix King's corpse, and his eyes instantly lit up.

This haul was definitely the most extravagant one he had ever gotten.

He strode forward, waved his hand, and swept all the loot into his backpack.

Checking the spoils: 213 gold coins, plus four pieces of equipment. The one he was most looking forward to was that dark black dagger. When the attributes were revealed, it certainly didn't disappoint.

[ghost flame shadow dagger (Bronze Grade)] Grade: Perfect. Attack: 35-110. Agility +15. Critical Hit Damage +10%. Special Effect [Phoenix Flame Lock]: Attacks carry lingering flames, slowing the target by 8% for 2 seconds. Required Level: 10. Class Requirement: Assassin.

"Perfect grade... an exclusive weapon for Assassins?"

The high base attack and 15 points of Agility, combined with critical damage bonuses—every stat was top-tier.

It even came with a slowing special effect; it was practically an early-game artifact tailor-made for him! (I'm not pretending anymore, I'm a shill...)

As for this weapon, the price if listed on the Trading House would definitely be no less than 2 million Universe Coins. After all, Perfect quality equipment has attributes and special effects far superior to those of the same level.

He could at least use it until level 20 or longer. He couldn't equip it yet, so he tossed it into his backpack to admire it.

He continued to rummage through his backpack, and the second piece of equipment popped out: a form-fitting black silk soft armor. It didn't look ordinary at all.

[Phoenix Scale Soft Armor (Bronze)] Grade: Rare. Category: Light Armor. HP: 300. Defense: 25. Constitution +10. Special Effect [Light Body]: Movement Speed +5%. Class Restriction: Assassin, Archer. Gender Restriction: Female.

Lin Feng almost drooled looking at the soft armor's stats, but when he saw the last line, his mouth twitched violently: "...Gender Restriction: Female?!"

He stared at this form-fitting, perfectly contoured black silk light armor, and he felt completely numb.

Lin Feng had a face full of black lines, flipping the Phoenix Scale Soft Armor over three times, feeling more speechless the more he looked.

300 HP, 25 Defense, 10 Constitution, +5% Movement Speed—the stats were a perfect fit for him, but it all crashed on the gender requirement.

"Sigh," what a pity, such good armor.

"I can only pray that some rich lady will take a liking to it!"

Complaining aside, Lin Feng quickly scanned the remaining two items: a common white-tier Warrior gauntlet and a fine black-iron grade Priest necklace.

Both had decent stats, but unfortunately, they both required Level 10 class advancement to equip. He couldn't use them, so he had to toss them into his backpack to list on the Trading House for money later.

After counting all the loot, Lin Feng felt delighted. This Secret Realm run was an absolute windfall.

Pulling himself together, he turned and walked toward the Secret Realm exit.

[Ding! Secret Realm challenge completed. Return to the nearest safe zone?]

"Oh, it even comes with a one-way ticket... nice, nice." Lin Feng didn't even think twice and chose to return.

With a flash of white light, the next second, he was teleported directly from the Secret Realm back to the Novice Village plaza.

People were coming and going all around, and white light flashed from time to time. It seemed that many players were having a rough time in the Novice Village as well.

Lin Feng leaned against a stone pillar and began to plan his next steps.

His level had reached Level 10 with 42% experience; the conditions for class advancement had been met.

He could go to the secondary main city to complete his class advancement, which would be another huge boost.

But before that, he would first list these idle items in his backpack on the Trading House.

He listed the items one by one on the Trading House, following the usual rules: bidding mode, 30-minute bidding time, anonymous.

Once everything was listed, Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction.

There were already 665,000 in his account; if this batch sold, he would basically join the ranks of millionaires.

Earning over a million in one day—in the past, he wouldn't have even dared to imagine it.

Now, equipment was valuable, probably because it was the first day of the server launch, and everyone was still in the beginner phase. All players were starting from zero, so top-tier equipment was naturally in high demand, and prices were skyrocketing.

In a few days, when players' levels generally increased and more equipment was produced, the prices of these transitional items would definitely be slashed again and again. So, this period was the time to harvest the leeks.

He checked the time; it was already past 4 AM. He had unknowingly spent 10 hours in the game.

"Hiss... just remembered, I haven't eaten dinner yet." Lin Feng rubbed his empty stomach, and a wave of hunger hit him.

The body is the capital for playing games; he couldn't ruin himself just to grind for equipment.

"Log off first to eat. Once I'm full, I'll fight all night."

He made up his mind and didn't wait for the 30-minute bidding time on the Trading House to end; the orders wouldn't run away anyway.

"Log off."

With a thought, Lin Feng's figure faded away in the Novice Village plaza, and his consciousness instantly pulled back to reality.
