76: Boss Battle! Six-Winged Seraph vs. Demolition Office Director!

"You bunch of... sacrilegious insects!"

Inquisitor Gabriel's voice carried undisguised anger for the first time.

The six mechanical light wings burning with white flames on his back suddenly unfurled, his pure gold armor flowing with divine radiance under the chaotic lights. The blazing light sword in his hand hummed, its blade's high temperature distorting the surrounding air.

The battleship was falling, the violent tremors and piercing alarm sounds making everyone unsteady on their feet.

But Gabriel's figure remained as motionless as a lighthouse in a storm.

"The game ends here."

His figure instantly vanished from where he stood.

The next second, he appeared before a player, his light sword tracing an elegant arc.

That player was still holding up his gun, his expression frozen in astonishment, then his body cleanly split in two at the waist, transforming into scattered data light points.

"So... so fast!"

"Can't even see his movements!"

The players exclaimed in shock.

Gabriel didn't pause, his figure turning into a golden lightning bolt in the crowded power room antechamber, wherever he passed, players fell like harvested wheat.

Every swing of the light sword precisely took several lives. The armor and health points the players prided themselves on were as thin as paper before him.

"Don't panic! Everyone spread out! MTs, hold the line!" Retired Soldier King's voice calmly sounded in the communication channel.

However, no MT could hold the line.

Several of the tankiest heavy-armored warriors tried to form a shield wall, but Gabriel just casually swept his sword, cutting the sturdy tower shields and the players behind them into pieces together.

This was the oppressive feeling of a version BOSS!

"Damn it! He's flying! Have the guts to come down and fight me!" Also a Ruthless Person swung his power hammer but couldn't even touch his opponent's shadow.

Gabriel hovered in mid-air, looking down at these players like headless flies, a trace of mockery appearing on his handsome face.

"Mortals, prepare to die!"

He raised his light sword, releasing waves of scorching Sword Qi that plowed furrows in the ground, each explosion taking out a group of players.

He was like a gardener cleaning up yard trash, elegant and efficient.

The players were completely suppressed, forced to hide behind various mechanical wreckage, fighting back in a sorry state.

"This won't do! We'll be worn down to death sooner or later!" Also a Ruthless Person jumped anxiously.

"He's charging!" Luban No. 7's mechanical eye flashed red, "I've analyzed it! His armor and wings have light energy absorption panels! As long as there's light, his energy is infinite!"

"Light?"

Retired Soldier King instantly grasped the key point. He glanced at the still-flashing emergency lights on the battleship's ceiling and immediately issued an order.

"All ranged units! Stop attacking the BOSS! Blow up every light-emitting thing on the ceiling for me!"

"Lin Xiaowan! Your ice magic can create fog, right? Don't save mana! Turn this place into a fog city for me!"

Once the command was given, the players instantly found their target.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Gunshots rang out, but the target was no longer Gabriel—it was the light tubes overhead.

The entire space quickly darkened.

Rich Woman Hungry gritted her teeth, crushing a large bag of Magic Crystals directly. Thick frosty mist spread rapidly from her center, obscuring all remaining light sources.

Gabriel's movements noticeably stalled.

"Petty tricks!"

He roared angrily, trying to disperse the mist with sword wind.

But it was already too late.

Having lost his light energy replenishment, the glow of his golden armor dimmed considerably. To conserve energy, he had to fold his wings and descend from the air.

"He's landed!"

"Brothers! Our chance is here! Charge together for me!"

Also a Ruthless Person let out an extremely excited roar.

Landing meant losing the mobility advantage.

Landing meant facing the most terrifying tactic of the fourth calamity—the human wave.

"Surround him for me!"

Hundreds of players who had just been beaten to the ground now rushed out from behind cover like mad dogs, fearlessly pouncing on Gabriel.

Gabriel swept his sword, sending the first dozen or so players flying, but dozens of new players immediately filled the gap.

One player directly jumped onto his back, tightly wrapping his arms around his neck.

Gabriel stabbed through him with a backhand sword strike, but another player grabbed his leg.

"Got you! Birdman!"

That player laughed maniacally, using all his strength to not let go.

Gabriel had never fought such a frustrating battle. He felt like he was sinking into quicksand, every step incredibly difficult.

These insects weren't afraid of death, they fought without rules—their only tactic was using corpses to restrict your movements.

Just as he was entangled by several players, his movements stiffening for an instant.

Also a Ruthless Person seized this opportunity.

He charged out from the side like a leopard, his power hammer carrying the sound of wind and thunder, smashing hard into Gabriel's knee joint!

"Clang!"

A loud crash.

Even Divine-Grade alloy couldn't withstand such savage impact.

Gabriel's left leg buckled, kneeling on one knee on the ground.

"Well done!"

"He's kneeling! Brothers! Strip him bare!"

The scales of victory completely tipped at this moment.

The players swarmed up, piling on like a pyramid, pinning this noble Inquisitor at the very bottom.

Kicking heads, breaking wings, snatching the light sword—the scene became extremely brutal for a moment.

Also a Ruthless Person was the most ferocious. He was the first to climb onto Gabriel's body, straddling his neck, using both hands to forcefully pry at the floating halo above his head.

"Holy shit! This thing won't come off!"

Also a Ruthless Person shouted excitedly while exerting force.

"This halo must be made of gold too, right? We're rich! Brothers, someone help me with this!"
