341: Chapter 341 Eat Her Hard!

Accompanied by faint footsteps, two figures walked into the cave.

When the woman in white walked up to the bluestone slab and clearly saw the dying baby lying on it, his face turned blue from the cold.

A trace of astonishment flashed in her eyes.

"Good heavens... how could there be a newborn baby here?"

The woman in white's voice trembled slightly.

Without a moment's hesitation, she hurried forward and reached out both hands.

She lifted the baby, who had almost stopped breathing, from the bluestone slab and pressed him tightly against her soft, warm chest.

"This child... his body is so cold, and his breathing is as faint as a gossamer thread."

"He must have been hungry for a long time."

The eyes of the woman in white turned slightly red as she lowered her head to gaze at the pitiful baby in her arms.

Meanwhile, from Su Chen's perspective, at this final moment of life and death.

Su Chen's consciousness finally felt a long-lost warmth.

A body temperature carrying a faint, fragrant scent was continuously transmitted through the thin fabric into his frozen limbs and bones.

In a state between dreaming and waking, Su Chen's innate survival instinct as a baby completely suppressed his adult reason.

Subconsciously, he nuzzled his head into that warm embrace, his little mouth opening slightly.

Instinctively searching, he followed that life-saving fragrance.

Soon, he felt something exceptionally soft and amazingly elastic in his mouth.

At this moment, he didn't even use his adult mind to consider what it was he had latched onto; he just began to suck deeply.

"Ngh..."

The woman in white holding him stiffened, and a faint, shy, and astonished whimper escaped her throat.

Yet, she did not push away the greedily nursing baby in her arms.

Instead, she held him tighter, even slightly adjusting her posture to allow him to nurse more easily.

Immediately, a warm current flowed down Su Chen's throat and gurgled into his belly.

The taste of this warm current was quite peculiar; it was slightly fishy, but mostly sweet.

As soon as the warm current entered his belly, it was like a spark falling into a pile of dry firewood.

Su Chen's frail body, which had been on the verge of exhaustion, erupted with astonishing vitality.

His internal organs, like parched earth finally receiving sweet rain, greedily and frantically absorbed this life-saving sweetness.

Warmth gradually dispelled the chill, and strength returned to his limbs and bones.

Enveloped by the feeling of fullness (or in short: having eaten until dazed), Su Chen's nerves, which had been tense for so long, finally relaxed completely.

He stopped nursing, smacked his little lips twice, and with a satisfied smile, drifted into a deep sleep in her arms.

Time passes unnoticed in the mountains; in the cave, the years slip by uncounted.

When Su Chen's consciousness awakened from his sleep, he found that he was no longer lying on the bluestone slab.

Instead, he was in a comfortable nest made of soft fur.

The cave had been cleaned thoroughly, and several night-luminescent pearls embedded in the stone walls illuminated the entire space as brightly as day.

He was still alive.

Su Chen opened his clear, large eyes and quietly turned his little head to survey his surroundings.

Soon, he spotted the two stunning women who had pulled him back from the gates of death not far away.

At this moment, the two women were sitting cross-legged in a corner of the cave, seemingly discussing something in low voices.

Su Chen lay quietly in the pile of fur, not making a sound, but pricked up his little ears to listen intently.

Relying on his adult intelligence, which far exceeded that of an ordinary person, he listened while quickly analyzing and piecing together the current information in his mind.

"Sister, this whole thing is truly strange."

The young woman wearing a light green gauze dress, who had a pretty face and a hint of heroic capability between her brows, said with a frown.

"We've had at least eighty, if not a hundred, cultivation spots."

"But it just so happens that this hidden cave, which we only found yesterday, was an excellent location for secluded cultivation."

"We hadn't even had time to set up defensive arrays or concealment barriers here when such a terrifying lightning tribulation anomaly suddenly descended from the sky."

The woman in green still felt a lingering fear as she recalled yesterday's celestial phenomenon.

"The pressure of that lightning tribulation was a hundred times more terrifying than that of an ordinary cultivator breaking through to the Mahayana Realm."

"I originally thought some peerless old demon was undergoing tribulation here. Fearing that the aura of the lightning tribulation would trigger your own Dragon Transformation Tribulation, which you were already struggling to suppress, I hurriedly pulled you away to retreat."

Hearing this, Su Chen's heart jolted. A lightning tribulation anomaly?

He recalled the shocked expression of the Black Dragon Demon Venerable looking up at the sky when he was born. It must have been caused by his birth.

After all, the combination of a True Dragon bloodline and a human in this Linghe Realm was truly unique.

So, the celestial anomaly he had caused at his birth had actually scared away these two women who were cultivating here.

"Indeed," the woman in white, addressed as "Sister," sighed softly.

Su Chen looked toward the sound. By the soft light of the night-luminescent pearls, he finally got a clear look at his savior's true face.

It was a face so beautiful that heaven and earth seemed to lose their color. Her brows were like distant mountains, and her eyes were like the ripples of an autumn lake.

Her figure was tall and could even be described as curvaceous. A plain white gauze dress could not conceal her stunning curves.

Yet, in stark contrast to this devilish figure was a temperament that was gentle to the bone.

She sat there quietly, like an ink painting come to life from the misty Jiangnan. Every gesture she made exuded a gentleness that felt like a spring breeze.

"The workings of heaven are unfathomable," she said. "Who could have imagined that such an earth-shaking lightning tribulation was not caused by a powerful expert undergoing tribulation, but by the birth of this poor child?"

The woman in white's gaze fell upon Su Chen, who was not far away.

"If we hadn't hesitated to abandon this treasure land we had just opened up before setting up our arrays, and if we hadn't decided to return and investigate after retreating, this child... would likely have frozen and starved to death in this wilderness."

Based on their brief conversation, Su Chen quickly sketched out the personalities of these two women in his mind.

The older one in white, despite having a figure so curvaceous it would make one's nose bleed, had an unusually gentle and kind personality—a typical style of a woman from the Jiangnan water towns.

The younger one in green, however, had a slightly impatient and fiery temperament. She spoke bluntly, yet her mind was exceptionally meticulous.

Just as Su Chen was silently analyzing them, the woman in green's next sentence made his heart, which had just settled, jump back into his throat.
