Chapter 126 - 18th Birthday - Part 4

"Explain it already... Why is that cute girl here...?"Despite whispering quietly, Jess emphasized her question as hard as she was embracing Jeff.

Her question wasn’t out of jealousy either, nor was she embracing Jeff out of possessiveness.

Jess was actually excited now that she had calmed down from her panic.

Going back a few moments, as Jess was violently beating Jeff—kicking him repeatedly while overwhelmed by panic upon meeting Veena out of nowhere and showing the most terrifying first impression to the girl who was her type, admiring her cute and beautiful appearance:

"Can you at least explain why you’re mad, Jess?"

Jeff, of course, already knew why Jess had retreated into her violent instinct. Still, making her say it would help her calm down.

"You should be the one explaining, idiot!"

But upon realizing that Jess had no intention of explaining herself—nor stopping her beating until she tired out—Jeff decided to resort to his usual method of calming her. Besides, even if he explained now, Jess surely wouldn’t listen. Or rather, she’d beat him up harder.

He caught her right foot with his right hand while still lying on the floor, then pulled her down as he sat up, making her fall straddling his lap before embracing her tightly—restraining her with his arms wrapped over hers.

At that moment, Jeff already knew what was coming next. Because if Jess couldn’t punch or kick him, then she would resort to biting.

"Ah..." Jeff gasped, surprised and aroused by the pain as Jess bit him on his right shoulder at the base of his neck, visible through the collar of his shirt.

After biting Jeff for a few minutes—hard enough to make him bleed and taste his blood while indulging herself in his tight, comforting embrace—Jess finally calmed down. She pulled her fangs out of his neck, then buried her face on his shoulder, feeling dazed and intoxicated by the taste of his blood.

"If that still wasn’t enough, I don’t mind if we do it right here," Jeff teased, releasing Jess from his embrace, then patting her head and caressing her back.

"Pervert..." Jess retorted, yet as soon as she lifted her head and looked at Jeff, she kissed him right away—intimate and passionate, as if agreeing to his suggestion.

Jeff wouldn’t mind doing so, but as their lips parted to catch their breath, he reminded Jess about the cause of her panic in the first place.

"Are we going to make Vee wait by herself outside, Jess?"

Still feeling embarrassed about her violent behavior, Jess ran back to the guest room on the ground floor that she had been cleaning earlier—but not before telling Jeff that Veena could use her old room on the second floor.

Jeff then opened the door—"Ekk!"—startling Veena, who had remained stunned and speechless where she stood after they left her outside.

"Jeff-senpai..." she said upon noticing the fresh bite mark on his neck, her voice trembling in fear with tears forming in her eyes as if she were about to cry.

"That’s just how we are. Jess isn’t mad or anything. So you don’t have to worry or be scared of her," Jeff said, patting Veena on the head to calm her down and ease her worries.

"Is she gonna punch and bite me as well?"

"Only if you wanted to, Vee."

"Ehh~?"

Still confused about everything, Veena watched as Jeff carried her shopping bags and welcomed her inside their home—her would-be new home as well—guiding her toward Jess’s room on the second floor.

Jess, meanwhile, was intently eavesdropping from the guest room, listening to Jeff and Veena walk through the stairs. And upon hearing the faint sound of the door closing, she finally came out and excitedly followed to the second floor, stopping in front of her room and waiting for Jeff to come out.

"Explain it already... Why is Veena here...?"

Back to their current situation, with Veena anxiously waiting alone inside Jess’s room while, outside the room, Jess was embracing Jeff—trying to restrain her excitement from meeting Veena and her arousal from Jeff returning home.

Before answering her question, Jeff embraced Jess, restraining her arms again since he was sure she would beat him up once she heard the reason.

"Well..." He said, pausing for a bit, thinking of a way to tell Jess without her getting mad.

"Well...?" Jess responded, looking up at him with a threatening glare, sensing that whatever Jeff was about to say would annoy her.

Jeff sighed, surrendering to another beating from Jess before continuing.

"Tomorrow is Vee’s 18th birth—"

Before Jeff could finish, Jess stood on her toes, leaned her head back, and smashed her forehead into Jeff’s chin.

Jess’s headbutt put Jeff in a daze, causing him to lose his balance and lean on the wall before slowly sitting on the floor—yet still keeping Jess restrained in his arms.

"Why didn’t you tell me before you came home!? No—You should have told me before you left! Wait, is that why Mom and Auntie were still at the supermarket? You told them but kept it a secret from me!? You bastard!"

It took some time for Jess to stop lashing out, while Jeff just enjoyed listening to her soothing voice, the softness and warmth of her body, and her intoxicating, seductive scent.

"Don’t just get aroused—listen to me, idiot." Jess said, feeling his massive erection pressing and throbbing against her belly. Yet despite her complaint, her body instinctively heated up, responding to the stimulation.

"What am I gonna do now? What could I give her as a gift?"

"You can think of a gift later," Jeff said, interrupting Jess’s mumbling. "For now, how about talking to her first?"

The sound of the doorknob turning, followed by the door opening, was enough to make Veena tense up. And the sight of the person who entered alone and closed the door made her freeze in fear as she sat on the bed.

Then the sound of the lock was all it took for her to finally cry.

"Sob..."

"Wait, wait... I’m sorry, please don’t cry..." Jess pleaded, feeling like crying herself upon realizing how much she was scaring Veena—all while staying at the door without approaching yet so as not to frighten her further.

"But... Sob... you’re going to punch and bite me... Sob..." Veena cried, convinced Jess had every right to beat her up like she did to Jeff, since she was his girlfriend.

She was prepared to do anything to be accepted by Jess as part of Jeff’s harem—but getting beaten up first, or so she thought, still scared her.

"Of course not. Why would I even do that?"

"You’re... Sob... Jeff-senpai’s girlfriend... Sob... You’re gonna get mad at me... Sob... for getting close to him..."

Piecing together her mumbling words, Jess finally understood what was going on.

That idiot didn’t tell her anything about his Harem x Yuri plan!

Jess thought, now comprehending why Jeff sent her alone to talk to Veena.

He didn’t even give her any advice and just ran downstairs—but not before giving one annoying remark: At least restrain yourself for now, Jess.

That bastard is teasing me again.

With no choice, Jess decided to handle the situation herself.

"I’m gonna sit beside you now, okay?" she said, feeling like she was trying to approach and tame a scared little puppy. "I’m not gonna hurt you or anything, so don’t be scared."

"Sob..."

Despite Veena trembling and crying even more with each step Jess took—closer and closer, hurting Jess’s feelings—Jess finally managed to sit beside her.

After clearing the first obstacle, Jess proceeded to take on the next challenge: trying to calm Veena down. And the only thing she could think of was how Jeff always calmed her down.

Jess embraced Veena tightly, pressing her head to her chest, thinking about how comforting Jeff’s embrace always was. Then she patted her head and caressed her back.

It took some time, but Veena finally stopped trembling and crying.

"I’m not scary, right, Vee?" Jess said, calling Veena by her nickname, trying to get familiar with her.

Understanding her intention, Veena tried to do the same.

"Then... can I call you Jess-senpai?" she asked, freeing herself from Jess’s embrace and looking up at her with still-teary eyes.

Seeing such a cute, helpless, crying face, Jess could barely restrain herself—or rather, restrain her perverted side.

"Mhm, you can call me that from now on," she said before embracing Veena again—this time not to console her, but to hide her lustful desire: the eyes of a predator who had found her next prey, and the hungry smile of a beast who had caught her next meal.

"You’re scaring me, Jess-senpai."

"You don’t have to be scared, Vee."

While Jess and Veena were talking upstairs, Jeff continued cleaning on the ground floor while waiting for them—knowing the two would be able to get close on their own, but still worrying that Jess might fail to restrain her lustful desire.

Her only experience with girls is with Mira and Mina, so it should be fine, Jeff thought, reassuring himself.

After some time, he finally heard someone coming down—or rather, running, rushing downstairs.

As Jeff turned to look at the stairs to check who it was, he immediately saw Jess—or to be more accurate, her fist—right in front of his face.

"YOU FREAKING PERVERT!"
