Chapter 17: I Think I Am Qualified!

This was indeed Qin Lie’s first time meeting Lu Ran.

Although Lu Ran had been monitored by the Tiandao Alliance for three years in the academy due to his 130 Spirit Power, Qin Lie had not directly interacted with him or even met him.

Now that it was evening, Qin Lie was somewhat surprised to see Lu Ran suddenly brought home by Qin Wuyao.

Mid-sentence, Xu Jie's voice trailed off.

He looked at Lu Ran in surprise and exclaimed, "It couldn't be this student, could it?"

Qin Lie shrugged and sighed, saying, "It is indeed Student Lu Ran."

After speaking, he seemed to feel that his reaction was inappropriate.

He quickly said to Lu Ran, "Student Lu Ran, please don't mind. Being an Undead Mage is not bad; it's just that a Spirit Power as high as 130 ultimately awakening as an Undead Mage is somewhat mismatched."

Xu Jie said, "Although I am not from the Black Fire City branch of the Tiandao Alliance, the rules here are the same as in other cities. Membership is decided through a comprehensive assessment a month from now; you cannot join early."
