96: Undying Sand Body, Eight-Armed Divine Bow

Western Desert.

Unlike the fertile plains of the Central Plains, the Western Desert region is desolate, barren, and covered in yellow sand.

There are seventy-two vast deserts, each comparable in size to an entire domain.

The cities of the Western Desert people are built around oases, constructed from massive stones in a rough, grand, and magnificent style.

They appear far more fortified than the cities of the Central Plains, like ancient beasts dormant in this great desert.

After the Wu Dynasty army entered the Western Desert from the Eastern Prefecture's Three Domains of the Nineteen Domains, they split into two routes.

Within a day, they covered a thousand li.

They captured fourteen major deserts, including Zixing, Shexie, and Jinsha.

"General, there are signs of a sandstorm forming thirty li ahead. Should we take a detour?" General Yue Changting asked, cupping his hands, as he approached Lü Bu.

Behind them, battle banners fluttered, and two hundred and fifty thousand Valiant Cavalry Camp armored soldiers and one hundred and eighty thousand Blood Wolf Cavalry spread across the desert, their murderous aura soaring to the sky.

Having fought their way through, the Wu Dynasty army suffered minimal losses.

Lü Bu led from the front; not a single Blood Fiend city-defending general could withstand a single round against him.

The army swept through, slaughtering the Blood Fiend Dynasty's defending forces like harvesting straw.

"How are Zhao Yun's achievements?" Lü Bu asked in a deep voice.

"General Zhao, leading the White Robe Army and the Silver Armored Army... is progressing at the same pace as our army, having already conquered seven major deserts," General Yue Changting respectfully reported.

"However, according to the messenger, General Zhao has now separated from the main army, leading seven thousand White Robes alone, rushing through the air directly towards the Blood Fiend Imperial City."

He glanced at Lü Bu's stern expression and continued to ask, "General, should we draw elites from the army, like General Zhao, to raid the Imperial City?"

"No need," Lü Bu waved his hand, smiling faintly. "The Buliangren's spies in the Western Desert reported that Xia Ying had already escaped from the Imperial City before the army even set off, and her whereabouts are unknown.

Reaching the Imperial City first is useless. What we need to do is flatten every inch of the Blood Fiend's territory, slaughter all the remnants, and pass on my military order: continue forward!"

"Yes!" General Yue Changting nodded and issued the command.

The army advanced at full speed.

At the edge of the desert, the sky and earth were dim.

A massive sandstorm gathered, its roar drowning out everything.

The vast wilderness was boundless, with endless yellow sand covering the sky and earth.

"Condense the army's momentum!" Lü Bu shouted.

He swung his square halberd forward, and a dark red light blade shot out, spanning dozens of zhang, resisting the might of heaven and forcibly clearing a path.

"Hah!" Two hundred thousand Valiant Cavalry Camp armored soldiers shouted in unison, their army's momentum condensed, and their vast Protective Aura was as thick as a sea.

A Valiant Cavalry Divine General Dharma Aspect, clad in golden armor and forty-nine zhang tall, formed, like a Divine Dharma Aspect (Level) that had broken its limits. With every movement, it carried the mighty power of heaven, tearing open the sky-high sand curtain.

Since the Reincarnation Node of the Four Seas and Five Regions arrived, Cultivators' cultivation has become immeasurably simpler than before.

Now, the lowest level Martial Artists in the Wu Dynasty army are all Innate Realm, and with the emergence of the Martial God, some lost ancient battle formations were passed down.

The army's combat power is already incomparable to what it once was.

"Boom!" Suddenly, the sky collapsed and the earth sank.

The entire desert seemed like a giant hourglass, turned upside down.

Hundreds of thousands of soldiers instantly felt a strong sense of weightlessness.

The army's momentum nearly disintegrated.

On the horizon, nine even larger sandstorm tornadoes raged across the land, encroaching upon them.

"This is bad! We've actually encountered a super sandstorm that is rarely seen in the Burial Soil Desert even once in a hundred years!" General Yue Changting's expression was grave, yet also somewhat puzzled.

The super sandstorms of the Burial Soil Desert always appear with a certain regularity, separated by over a hundred years. The last one had only recently subsided, so why would another one appear?

The army halted, and the military formation took up a defensive posture.

Lü Bu looked up, narrowing his eyes slightly. Within the nine sandstorm tornadoes, nine vague figures were faintly visible.

"You are truly audacious. When our Yellow Sand Sect emerged, we already notified the Imperial Dynasty here to proclaim to the world that the Burial Soil Desert is the territory of our Yellow Sand Sect, and no force may set foot here." Amidst the raging wind and sand, a hoarse, deep shout vaguely emanated from the sandstorm tornadoes.

"Yellow Sand Sect?" General Yue Changting quickly thought, his face slightly changing. He looked at Lü Bu and reported, "General, if what they say is true, we might really have to take a detour.

This Yellow Sand Sect is a Demonic Path Sect that was destroyed thousands of years ago. It also had a Legacy for ten thousand years. The Sect's Old Ancestor has revived, and their strength is unfathomable. We might have fallen into the Blood Fiend Dynasty's treacherous scheme and been deliberately led here."

Lü Bu narrowed his eyes, showing no intention of retreating.

"Big Brother, it must be that the Imperial Dynasty's Lord was duplicitous and did not announce our emergence to the world. In that case, killing all these people will naturally let the world know that our Yellow Sand Sect has returned." Seeing this, someone in the desert tornado suggested.

"Gentlemen, I am General Yue Changting, the chief general of the Wu Dynasty's Blood Wolf Cavalry. The situation in the Four Seas and Five Regions has long changed. I believe you do not wish to be used by others and form enmity without cause." General Yue Changting displayed his Divine Dharma Aspect Realm cultivation, ascending to the sky neither humbly nor arrogantly, directly facing the nine members of the Yellow Sand Sect.

"The Reincarnation Node is indeed different. Any general in the Imperial Dynasty can reach the Divine Dharma Aspect Realm." Someone in the sandstorm tornado exclaimed with emotion.

"Hehehe, to come and go as you please, do you really think our Yellow Sand Sect is just for show? Don't worry, after we deal with you, we won't let off those who plotted behind the scenes either."

"Thousands of years ago, we might have been somewhat apprehensive, but now, our Yellow Sand Divine Bodies are complete, immortal and indestructible. In this Burial Soil Desert, we are the absolute Dominators. In this vast world, where can we not roam freely?"

"Come, come, let this venerable one first test the quality of the Divine Dharma Aspect Realm Cultivators in the current Four Seas and Five Regions." The Yellow Sand Sect's Ninth Old Ancestor stepped out of the sandstorm tornado, his body dissipating and transforming into a forty-nine zhang tall yellow sand giant. He raised a large hand and slapped towards General Yue Changting.

Boom! General Yue Changting threw a punch, and the Void Realm roared.

Billions of grains of sand exploded.

He wore a top-tier treasure from the Artifact Pavilion, which could boost his combat power by more than fifty percent.

His fist prints were like mountains, pushing back the sandstorm and smashing the yellow sand giant.

The two sides fought for dozens of rounds.

Finally, General Yue Changting's gaze sharpened, and he drew a precious saber bestowed by His Majesty, striking out with a powerful cleave.

The saber light was like a silver waterfall, cascading down and washing away the sky-high yellow sand.

The yellow sand giant roared, its form disintegrating, transforming back into a human figure, and fleeing into the sandstorm.

"Big Brother, this fellow's cultivation isn't strong, but the treasures on him are all priceless items." The Yellow Sand Sect's Ninth Old Ancestor incited, "Look at the other leader; the armor and weapon on him emit subtle fluctuations that are extremely close to Divine Artifacts. We might as well go all out..."

"Our lives are connected to this desert; we have almost achieved eternal life, so we don't need to fear offending anyone." Several voices of agreement came from the sandstorm tornado.

"Good," the Yellow Sand Sect's Eldest Old Ancestor nodded.

The next moment, the wind and sand howled.

The nine sandstorm tornadoes expanded, transforming into nine colossal sand giants, looking down at the Wu Dynasty army, emitting wailing wind sounds, and waving their hands to stir up immense sand and dust that covered the sky and earth.

"Step back." General Yue Changting, gritting his teeth, wanted to resist, but was shouted back.

Military orders were like mountains; he gritted his teeth and retreated, his heart tightening slightly.

These guys were unkillable, posing a huge threat to the army. Even if the army could retreat, many would be exhausted to death.

Now, it depended on how the commanding general would give orders.

General Yue Changting turned his head, waiting for orders, and was surprised to see Lü Bu drawing his bow on horseback.

Divine Lü Bu.

With eight-armed Divine Power, the bow was drawn to a full moon, and Lü Bu grinned menacingly.

Releasing his hand, nine arrows, like streaks of light, pierced through the yellow sand, stirring up wind and clouds for ten thousand li.

The immense impact caused the Red Hare to rear up and whinny incessantly.

Boom! Boom! Boom... Nine explosions rang out at once.

The world was filled with roars.

Sand and grit rained down, the sensation of weightlessness disappeared, and faint whiffs of scorched sand drifted from afar.

The nine colossal sandstorm tornadoes that connected heaven and earth seemed to be forcibly extinguished by the giant hands of gods and demons.

Wherever the divine arrows passed, they cleansed the clear sky.

Nine extremely weak yet terrified True Spirits immediately scurried into the depths of the Burial Soil Desert.

The sandstorm subsided, and the view became clear. Immediately, earth-shattering cheers erupted from the army.
