149: Ancient Ruins

Of course, even if the mecha: flowing flame's speed was slow, after two full hours, Qin Yu still covered a lot of ground... At the very least, his current position had already left the Wild Jungle Zone and arrived at the Ancient Ruins Zone.

After years of exploration by the Dragon Kingdom, the Eternal Radiance Secret Realm, while still maintaining its mystery, still had most of its areas unopen to the public.

However, after so many years, the Dragon Kingdom had generally figured out the situation within the open areas.

These open areas were roughly divided into five sub-zones.

They were: Wild Jungle Zone, Ancient Ruins Zone, Undercurrent Sand Sea Zone, Miasma Swamp Zone, and Time-Space Turbulence Zone.

These five zones were located in the east, west, south, north, and center of the Eternal Radiance Secret Realm's explorable area, respectively.

Among them, just by hearing the name, one would know that the Time-Space Turbulence Zone was absolutely the most dangerous among the five zones!

And besides the Time-Space Turbulence Zone, the second most dangerous was naturally the Ancient Ruins Zone.

And at this moment, Qin Yu had already arrived at the edge of the Ancient Ruins Zone.

"Is this the Ancient Ruins Zone? So many ruins, no wonder it's called the Ancient Ruins Zone..." Through the mecha, he saw a desolate landscape before him, countless broken walls and crumbling ruins standing in the yellow sand, a stark contrast to the lush, towering trees behind him.

To be honest, Qin Yu hesitated for a moment.

After all, according to the information he had gathered in the past few days, the Radiant Beasts in the Ancient Ruins Area were much stronger than the Radiant Beasts in the Wild Jungle Zone he had just passed through.

Moreover, the most important thing was that this strength wasn't just about higher levels than those in other areas; the Radiant Beasts inside, whether in terms of level or abilities... were much more abnormal than those in the Wild Jungle Zone!

For example, the Level 35 spatial Mad Armor Savage Bull that Qin Yu had just encountered.

In the Wild Jungle Zone, it was undoubtedly a boss-level Radiant Beast.

However, that was only true in the Wild Jungle... In the Ancient Ruins Area and the Time-Space Turbulence Zone.

That Mad Armor Savage Bull would at most be considered ordinary.

Under such circumstances, to be honest, Qin Yu truly doubted whether he could safely cross this Ancient Ruins Zone with his current strength and reach the Miasma Swamp Zone on the other side.

"However, the Radiant Beasts I've killed along the way, if not a hundred, then at least seventy.

"No matter what, getting into the top forty, or even the top ten, and securing my position in the Prodigy Special Training Camp, is a sure thing.

"Even if I'm no match and die in here... it doesn't seem to affect me much.

"At most, I just won't be able to rush over and meet up with Yu and the others.

"And if I want to bypass this Ancient Ruins Zone to get to the Miasma Swamp on the other side, I'd have to traverse a large area further north and then enter the Undercurrent Sand Sea Zone..."

"The time difference would be too great."

However, after weighing the pros and cons in his mind... Qin Yu ultimately decided to directly cross this Ancient Ruins Area!

The reason was quite simple: his ranking was already secured anyway.

Moreover, dying in the Eternal Radiance Secret Realm wasn't true death; he would merely be cleared out of the secret realm.

So, he might as well take a gamble and directly cross this Ancient Ruins Area.

After all, from his current position, there was only one option to meet up with Nie Yuxi, Ning Qianqian, Su Yuqing, and Li Qiming.

And that was the only choice.

Since he had made up his mind, Qin Yu was not one to procrastinate. Without the slightest hesitation, the next moment... Qin Yu once again controlled flowing flame and stepped into the Ancient Ruins Area!

What Qin Yu didn't know was that just as he stepped into the Ancient Ruins Area, in Star Ring Academy in the real world... even though most people already knew Qin Yu's route and had anticipated that he would inevitably venture into the Ancient Ruins Area.

However, anticipation was one thing, but when Qin Yu truly began to cross, countless senior students and teachers on the plaza still let out exclamations!

"Holy cow, is this Qin Yu really that outrageous? He actually dares to cross the Ancient Ruins? Can he not be so ridiculous? I remember there aren't many Level 30-something Radiant Beasts in the Ancient Ruins, right?"

"The Radiant Beasts inside are at least Level 36 or 37 and above, or even Level 40-something."

"He... he... isn't he really afraid of dying in there?"

"Maybe this is what a genius is like. I just thought Qin Yu hesitated for a moment, and in the end, he would choose to go north and bypass the Undercurrent Sand Sea Zone..."

"Enough said, Qin Yu is awesome! I feel that in a few years, if Qin Yu truly grows up, he will definitely be another signboard for our Star Ring Academy."

"I agree with the signboard part, but buddy, don't you think that with Qin Yu's current strength, he doesn't even need a few more years?"

"...Uh, that also makes sense."

"…"

Of course, at this moment, the most shocked were not these senior students and teachers.

But the Freshmen who had already died in the Eternal Radiance Secret Realm and were cleared out of it.

These people had not witnessed Qin Yu's previous entanglement with the Level 35 Mad Armor Savage Bull, nor his one-punch instant kill of a Snake-Tailed Elephant Demon.

They had only seen a little of Qin Yu killing low-level Radiant Beasts with one punch while traveling.

And now, seeing Qin Yu enter the Ancient Ruins Area so unhesitatingly, the shock in their hearts was no less than before.

"My goodness, this... did Qin Yu really undergo the class transfer ceremony at the same time as us?"

"Why do I feel that the gap between us and him is so huge? That's the Ancient Ruins Zone, isn't it said that most Third-Tier powerhouses wouldn't dare to easily set foot in it?"

"Enough said, I'm completely convinced now. From now on..."

"Qin Yu is my only idol!"

"Me too!"

"…"
