The legacy of Blackrock Pass! You say this thing can be used as a paperweight?

Dead silence.

After breaking the pass with a single sword strike and crushing the Blackstone King with his bare hands, the entire battlefield fell into an eerie silence.

Only the low roar of the Longxiang Army's warship engines and the heavy breathing of countless soldiers remained.

Qin Pojun stood blankly on the bridge of the dragon charger, staring out the porthole at the massive gap, sliced open by a single sword strike like a natural chasm.

His brain had completely given up on thinking.

Won?

Just like that... won?

In the original plan, even with Your Excellency Lin Yuan presiding, this siege was expected to last at least three days and three nights.

They even had to be prepared for heavy casualties.

After all, the "Earth Guardian" gravity field of Black Stone Pass was an absolute defense that even a King-Sealing Expert would find troublesome.

But now... from the moment they arrived at the battlefield to the end of the combat.

How long had it taken?

Ten minutes?

Or five minutes?

Qin Pojun felt as if he had only blinked, and that Starry Sky Fortress, known as "never-falling," had turned into a pile of ruins floating in the Universe.

"This... it's over just like that?" a young staff officer asked with a trembling voice, echoing everyone's thoughts.

"It's over."

Qin Pojun's single eye slowly swept over the wreckage of the warships still sparking with electricity, and the Blackstone Clan warriors kneeling in surrender and trembling.

He took a deep breath and then, with all his might, let out a heaven-shaking roar!

"We... have won!!!"

"Won!!"

"We won!!!"

After a brief silence, the entire Central Route Army fleet erupted in cheers like a mountain tsunami!

Every soldier was shouting frantically, venting the shock and wild joy in their hearts!

Too fast!

Too surreal!

This was a miraculous victory worthy of being recorded in the Human Alliance's military textbooks!

And the one who created this miracle was that man!

Everyone's eyes subconsciously gathered on that figure hovering above Black Stone Pass like a deity.

Lin Yuan.

He just stood there quietly, suppressing the entire starry sky... Avrora's small hand tightly covered her mouth.

Her icy blue eyes stared unblinkingly at Lin Yuan's back, her heart pounding as if it were about to fly out of her chest.

Is this... his power?

With one sword strike, he broke through a Starry Sky Fortress.

With a casual movement, he crushed an alien king at the Peak of the Origin Gathering Realm.

Such a thing, even the most powerful gods in myths and legends couldn't do it, right?

She glanced at her elder sister beside her.

On Agatha's face, which had been frozen for ten thousand years, there was now an irrepressible shock and fanaticism.

The way she looked at Lin Yuan was no longer the awe of a subordinate for a superior.

It was a kind of... piety of a believer looking up at a deity!

Avrora suddenly felt that her behavior last night, running to such a being to ask for "jelly beans"... was so... foolish, yet cute... Just as the entire army was celebrating.

Lin Yuan's figure moved.

He ignored the cheering officers and soldiers, and he ignored the captives kneeling in surrender.

With a flash of his body, he appeared amidst the ruins of the shattered command tower of Black Stone Pass.

As if a tourist taking a stroll after dinner, wandering in his own back garden.

"Your Excellency is..."

Qin Pojun was stunned and immediately ordered: "Quick! Send a squad of personal guards to follow him! Protect Your Excellency!"

"No need."

Agatha's cold voice rang out, stopping him.

She watched that figure moving through the ruins from afar, her voice carrying an inexplicable certainty.

"He doesn't need protection."

"And, he should be... looking for spoils of war."

Spoils of war?

Qin Pojun's single eye instantly lit up!

Right!

Black Stone Pass had been entrenched here for thousands of years; the wealth and resources they had plundered were definitely astronomical!

Especially those rare minerals unique to the Blackstone Clan, they were priceless!

And all of this now belonged to them!

No!

It belongs to Your Excellency Lin Yuan!

"Pass my order!" Qin Pojun immediately roared, "Blockade all warehouses! Inventory all supplies! Without Your Excellency's command, no one is allowed to hide even a single needle or thread!"

Just as he was nervously arranging post-war matters.

Boom!

A loud explosion came from deep within the ruins of the command tower.

Lin Yuan gave a casual wave of his hand.

The command tower foundation, cast from a special alloy and weighing billions of tons, was flipped over by him as easily as flipping a tablecloth!

Beneath the foundation was a massive, bottomless pit.

In the center of the pit, a strange crystal the size of a small hill, pitch black all over but with countless silver starlight flowing on its surface, was quietly suspended.

It was rotating slowly.

With every rotation, the surrounding space would undergo a visible distortion.

Waves of terrifying gravity radiated from it, even causing the surrounding warships to start shaking uncontrollably!

That's... the 'Blackstone Heart'!

Agatha's breath suddenly hitched!

She recognized this thing!

This was the supreme treasure of the Blackstone Clan!

It was the energy hub and gravity core of the entire Black Stone Pass!

It was said to be the core of a small Neutron Star that, by a stroke of Opportunity, had undergone Fusion with the space Law to form a cosmic wonder!

Its value was immeasurable!

Even a King-Sealing Expert would be green with envy!

Under everyone's shocked gazes.

Lin Yuan slowly floated down beside the "Blackstone Heart."

He reached out and tapped the cold, oily surface of the crystal.

It made a crisp "clink-clink" sound.

Then.

He seemed to think this thing was a bit too big and difficult to carry.

So, he held his fingers like a blade and gave a casual swipe at the indestructible "Blackstone Heart."

Chila—

A soft sound.

That cosmic wonder, which could leave even a King-Sealing Expert helpless, was easily sliced by him like a piece of tofu, taking off a large chunk.

About... the size of a human head.

Lin Yuan weighed the "tofu" in his hand, seemingly feeling that the weight was about right.

Then, he ignored the remaining large portion of the "Blackstone Heart."

With a flash of his body, he returned to the bridge of the dragon charger.

He casually threw the crystal, still radiating terrifying gravity waves, into the arms of the dumbfounded Qin Pojun.

"This is also for you."

His tone was still as calm and breezy as ever.

"The material is okay, and the density is quite high."

"Take it back, slice it up, and use it as a paperweight; it should be quite good."

Having said that.

He sat back down in his command chair, closed his eyes, and began to nap.

As if he had just casually picked up a slightly better-looking rock.

"..."

"..."

The entire bridge fell into a dead silence once again.

Qin Pojun's hands trembled as he held the "paperweight" that was so heavy it even strained his Juyuan Realm Physical Body.

He felt as if his heart had stopped beating.

Pa... Paperweight?

You call a Neutron Star core a paperweight?!

And you want to fucking slice it up and use it?!

If this thing were taken back to the Alliance, those old scholars doing physics research would kneel down to you on the spot, hugging your legs and calling you ancestor!

An unprecedented sense of absurdity surged through his brain.

He suddenly felt.

That his previous state, moved to tears because that piece of "firewood" could create hundreds of Juyuan Realm practitioners... was truly... too unsophisticated... Just as the Central Route Army was still digesting the massive impact of this victory.

On the other side of the distant starry sky.

Two equally enormous fleets were advancing at full speed.

On the bridge of the Left Route Army's flagship, the "Aegis."

A burly white man, built like a bear with a full beard, was pacing back and forth anxiously.

He was none other than the commander of the Aegis Legion, General Patton.

"Damn it! How much further?!" He grabbed the communications officer by the collar, his roar like thunder.

"Re... Reporting, General! It's estimated to be another thirty minutes before we reach the designated battlefield of Black Stone Pass!" The communications officer's face turned pale from his shouting.

"Thirty minutes?!"

General Patton kicked over a nearby alloy chair and cursed loudly.

"By the time we get there, it'll be too late! Those yellow-skinned monkeys from Dragon Xia Kingdom must have already been smashed into iron pancakes by those stone lumps of the Blackstone Clan!"

"Pass my order! All warships, overload the engines! Charge!"

...At the same time.

On the Right Route Army's flagship, the "Grey Wolf."

A man who was equally tall but had a temperament as gloomy as ice was holding a glass of bright red liquid, quietly looking at the star map.

The commander of the Northern Wolf Legion, Vladimir.

"General," an adjutant stepped forward and said in a low voice, "we have received communication from the Left Route Army; they are advancing at full speed."

"A bunch of simple-minded fools."

Vladimir took a sip of the liquid in his glass, a cold curve hooking the corner of his mouth.

"Is Black Stone Pass that easy to attack?"

"Keep the fleet at normal speed; we're in no hurry."

"Wait until the Aegis Legion and the Longxiang Army have fought those stone people to mutual destruction, then we'll go in and clean up the mess."

His voice was full of calculation and coldness.

"This is the art of war."

...Thirty minutes later.

"General! We've arrived! We've arrived!"

On the bridge of the Aegis, the lookout let out an excited shout!

General Patton dashed to the porthole!

Then.

The expression on his face froze.

What did he see?

A... shattered Starry Sky Fortress still emitting black smoke.

Countless Longxiang Army warships were shuttling in and out of the fortress in an orderly fashion, as if... cleaning up the battlefield?

Where was the unimaginably fierce siege he had expected?

Where were the scenes of corpses everywhere and rivers of blood?

Why... was there nothing?

"This... what's going on?!" General Patton's brain completely stalled.

"Could it be... we're too late? The Longxiang Army... has been completely wiped out?" a staff officer guessed with a trembling voice.

Just then.

They saw a Longxiang Army patrol ship flying towards them.

And it sent a communication request.

"Connect it!" Patton roared.

The holographic projection lit up.

A young officer of the Longxiang Army appeared on the screen; he gave Patton a standard military salute.

"Greetings, allies of the Aegis Legion."

"The battle is over."

"Are you here to attend the victory banquet?"

The officer's face was brimming with an irrepressible pride and self-satisfaction that came from the bottom of his heart!

"Vic... Victory banquet?"

General Patton's eyes bulged wider than copper bells.

His gaze was fixed on the massive sword scar gap on the fortress that had been forcibly sliced through the entire stronghold.

A chill rushed from the soles of his feet straight to the top of his head!

"Who... did it?"

His voice was so hoarse it didn't sound like his own.
