359: Chapter 354 None of these wicked disciples came to help him.

Chu Weiwei stared at the ball of poisonous miasma compressed into a tiny sphere at Revered Master's fingertips, and she felt absolutely terrible.

That was her trump card, something she had spent months saving up specifically to deal with high-level Immortals. Yet in Revered Master's hands, it had turned into a colorful candy ball that he could casually roll into shape.

This wasn't a spar; this was clearly him pinning her to the ground and using her as a teaching aid.

"Revered Master, don't get cocky." Chu Weiwei bit her lower lip, that stubborn streak rising up again. "Weiwei still has plenty of tricks up her sleeve."

Before her voice had even faded, she tapped her foot and transformed into an afterimage, circling behind Su Lin.

As her sleeves fluttered, three silver needles shot out like streaks of light, aiming respectively at Su Lin's shoulder well, life gate, and the back of his neck.

This was her most prized hidden weapon technique—fast and vicious, specifically targeting vital points.

"Whoa, Third Junior Sister knows how to sneak attack." Su Hongling watched and slapped her thigh. "This move is underhanded; I like it."

"Second Senior Sister, can you not root for Revered Master?" Gu Qiuyue cracked a melon seed and rolled her eyes at her. "That's our Revered Master."

"I'm just praising Third Junior Sister." Su Hongling chuckled. "Besides, these needles won't be able to prick the Old Man anyway."

Sure enough.

Su Lin didn't even turn his head.

He simply raised two fingers and casually pinched the air behind him.

The three silver needles stopped instantly between his fingers, unable to move forward even half an inch.

"Are these needles quenched in Seven-Step Heartbreak Powder?" Su Lin brought the silver needles up to his eyes to examine them, his tone like he was critiquing a home-cooked dish. "The heat isn't right. This poison needs to be simmered seven times for that layer of green light to cling to the tip. You've only simmered it five times and you're already bringing it out to embarrass yourself."

Chu Weiwei: ...

She felt so aggrieved.

Her carefully crafted hidden weapon, in Revered Master's mouth, had become an undercooked dish.

And Revered Master was absolutely right; she had indeed only simmered it five times.

How on earth did this Old Man tell?

"Revered Master, your critique is too professional." Luo Ximei waved her folding fan, laughing until she shook. "Third Junior Sister, I'm afraid your poison arts need to be sent back to the furnace to be remade."

"Stop gloating." Chu Weiwei stomped her foot in anger. "If you're so capable, why don't you come up and try?"

"This Venerable One isn't going up there." Luo Ximei lazily cracked a melon seed. "This Venerable One isn't stupid. It's much better to sit here and watch the show."

Cold Moon sat upright on the outermost edge, her purple-gold Phoenix robe not a single wrinkle out of place. Although she wasn't boisterous like Su Hongling, those golden eyes of hers clearly hid a bit of amusement at watching the show.

"Third Junior Sister, why don't you just admit defeat." Cold Moon spoke unhurriedly. "Being this embarrassing, if word gets out, it will damage our reputation."

"First Senior Sister, don't just stand there and talk without feeling the pain." Chu Weiwei was almost crying. "If you came up here, could you last two moves?"

Cold Moon choked.

She really didn't dare guarantee she could last two moves.

Su Lin's unfathomable strength was an inescapable shadow in the hearts of those of them who were his disciples.

"Ahem, I am of the Imperial Dao lineage, unlike your heterodox paths." Cold Moon put on airs, forcing a way to round off her words.

"Tch." Chu Weiwei pursed her lips and stopped arguing with her.

Her mind was now entirely focused on how to survive ten moves under Revered Master's hands.

Su Lin flicked the three silver needles away, and they turned into three streaks of light, embedding themselves into the grass nearby.

"How many moves are left?" He stood with his hands behind his back. Although his waist still ached, his nonchalant demeanor was perfectly maintained. "Your Revered Master is still waiting."

Chu Weiwei took a deep breath.

Hidden weapons didn't work, poisonous mist didn't work.

Then she would try something hard.

A flash of ruthlessness crossed her purple eyes, and she violently formed a hand seal. A layer of pale green mist rose around her entire body; this was her Ten Thousand Poison Dao Body operating at full capacity.

"Revered Master, don't look down on Weiwei." Her figure flickered, turning into a green light as she lunged straight at Su Lin.

Her slender fingers gathered highly toxic spiritual power, each fingertip glowing with an eerie green light as she struck toward all the vital acupoints on Su Lin's body.

This set of finger techniques was as fast as a gale, the green light interweaving into a sheet, dazzling to the eyes.

"Yo, Third Junior Sister's movement technique is quite good." Su Hongling stared wide-eyed. "These fingers poking out look like rain."

"Flashy but useless." Ye You gnawed on a bone, evaluating it concisely.

Facing these dense finger shadows, Su Lin remained as calm and composed as ever.

He didn't dodge, nor did he block.

He simply raised one hand and, following Chu Weiwei's dazzling finger technique, tapped out unhurriedly.

A miraculous thing happened.

Every time Chu Weiwei pointed a finger out, Su Lin's finger would arrive a split second earlier, precisely tapping her fingertip.

"Ding, ding, ding, ding."

The crisp sounds of collision linked together.

Chu Weiwei's storm-like offensive was actually blocked, one by one, so lightly by Su Lin.

The spiritual power gathered on her poison fingers dissipated a fraction with every collision. In just over a dozen breaths, the green light on her Flower-Plucking Finger had been knocked away completely.

"This..." Chu Weiwei widened her eyes in disbelief.

"The problem with your finger technique lies in your wrist." Su Lin taught as he tapped, looking just like a dutiful private tutor. "When you exert force, your wrist is too stiff, and the Immortal power gets stuck in your finger joints and can't come out. That's why your fingers look flashy, but in reality, they are just for show and useless."

Chu Weiwei: ...

She wasn't just aggrieved anymore.

She really wanted to find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

Her poison arts, hidden weapons, movement techniques, and finger techniques—things she was so proud of—had been stripped bare in front of Revered Master, complete with detailed critical feedback.

This wasn't a spar.

This was a public execution.

"Hahahaha!" Su Hongling laughed until she was rocking back and forth, nearly falling off her stool. "Third Junior Sister, your wrist is truly stiff! I think you mix poison too often, your hands have been ruined by it!"

"Second Senior Sister, shut up!" Chu Weiwei was both embarrassed and angry.

"Revered Master's teaching attitude is really good." Luo Ximei waved her folding fan, slowly adding salt to the wound. "Teaching while fighting, guaranteed to learn. Third Junior Sister, your tuition isn't cheap."

"Luo Ximei!"

"Oh my, what's the rush?" Luo Ximei tossed a melon seed into her mouth with a smile. "This Venerable One is just concerned about you."

Gu Qiuyue was counting on her fingers on the side.

"One move for hidden weapons, one for poisonous mist, one for finger techniques." Her golden eyes rolled. "Revered Master said to last ten moves, but Third Junior Sister is already at her wit's end after only three. What is she going to do about the remaining seven moves?"

"Sixth Junior Sister, don't stir the pot." Chu Weiwei was on the verge of a breakdown.

She had fought with Su Lin for so long, yet she hadn't even touched a corner of Revered Master's clothes, and instead, she had exposed all her secrets.

No.

If this continued, she would definitely lose all face in public.

Chu Weiwei rolled her eyes, and that bit of madness bubbled up again.

If she couldn't win head-on, she would use some underhanded tricks.

In any case, the words "fair and square" had never existed in Chu Weiwei's dictionary.

"Revered Master." She suddenly stopped, her purple eyes watery, and she retreated two steps, looking pitiful. "Weiwei can't beat you. Weiwei admits defeat."

Su Lin raised an eyebrow.

This girl was admitting defeat so readily?

Something was wrong.

He knew Chu Weiwei too well. If this girl was willing to give in easily, pigs could fly.

"Admit defeat?" Su Lin didn't lower his guard; instead, he became even more vigilant. "You've only used three moves."

"Weiwei can't use the remaining seven moves anyway." Chu Weiwei looked aggrieved, her eyes turning red. "Revered Master, you are so strong, what can Weiwei compare with you? Weiwei is just trash, I can't even take one of Revered Master's moves."

As she spoke, she actually started sobbing, looking as pitiful as could be.

"Sigh, Third Junior Sister can't hold it in anymore and started playing the pity card." Su Hongling shook her head and commented.

"Revered Master, don't soften your heart." Luo Ximei reminded him slowly. "This girl is more deceptive than anyone when she cries; there's definitely a trap."

Su Lin certainly knew there was a trap.

He stared at Chu Weiwei's tear-streaked face, clear-headed in his heart.

But the problem was, he really didn't know what medicine this girl was selling in her gourd.

"Alright, stop crying." Su Lin sighed, ultimately withdrawing a bit of his Aura. "If you admit defeat, then so be it. You're grounded for half a month; that won't change."

It was this split second of relaxation.

This was the opportunity Chu Weiwei had been waiting for.

She suddenly opened her mouth, and a faint, extremely pale peach-colored breath sprayed out, taking advantage of the moment Su Lin softened and was distracted.

This breath was so thin it was almost invisible, mixing into the air and drifting silently toward Su Lin.

This was the lingering effect of that troublesome medicinal meal from last night.

Back when she failed at brewing the medicine, Chu Weiwei had secretly stored a wisp of that mutated aphrodisiac inside her body. She was betting on Revered Master being caught off guard.

Su Lin's pupils shrank suddenly.

Not good.

Just as he tried to hold his breath, that wisp of peach-colored breath had already snaked in through his nostrils.

"Hiss."

A familiar feeling of dry heat surged up once again from the depths of his lower abdomen.

The Half-Immortal Essence within his body, which had just calmed down, began to boil uncontrollably again.

That feeling was even more intense than last night.

"Chu Weiwei! You're doing it again!"

Su Lin felt a buzzing sound in his brain, and even his breathing became heavy.

"Heehee, Revered Master, Weiwei won."

Chu Weiwei giggled, spinning around triumphantly. Not only did she not run away, but she happily leaned in, clinging entirely onto Su Lin.

"Revered Master, look, this move is called the 'pity-selling sneak attack.' Weiwei really has some real skills, right?" She tilted her little face up, her purple eyes full of ecstasy and obsession. "Did that pot of medicine last night smell good? Weiwei specifically saved a wisp for you."

Su Lin held his waist, too angry to speak.

He was a dignified Golden Immortal who had fought his way from the Lower Realm all the way to Heaven Beyond Heaven, even slapping a Heavenly Emperor flying with one palm.

Yet, in the end, he had actually fallen twice to the aphrodisiac of his own yandere disciple.

If this got out, where would he put his old face?

"Cough, cough."

Su Lin forcibly suppressed the evil fire churning in his body and took a few deep breaths, wanting to use the Chaos power of the world tree to suppress this medicinal potency.

But this time, the medicinal effect came fast and fierce, mixing with the sweet, cloying fragrance on Chu Weiwei's body, throwing his mind into Chaos.

The row of stools where they were watching the show instantly exploded into Chaos.

"Oh my!" Su Hongling was the first to react, spilling the fruit in her hands all over the ground. "The Old Man has been hit again!"

She slapped her thigh, so excited.

"I told you, this girl Third Junior Sister is wicked and bad; she must have been holding back some underhanded tricks!"

Cold Moon sat upright on her stool, and two blushes flew onto her usually dignified face. Although she didn't move, those golden eyes of hers unconsciously glanced at Su Lin's flushed face.

Mu Qingxue stood to the side, her pale blue eyes calm and waveless. Only the fingers pinching her clothes tightened quietly.

"Third Junior Sister's move is underhanded." Her cold, clear voice rarely carried a hint of imperceptible jealousy. "To actually use this method to get close."

Luo Ximei waved her folding fan, her white-gold heterochromatic eyes full of excitement at watching the show, even revealing a bit of eagerness to try.

"Third Junior Sister is really getting the first advantage of being near the water." She said with a smile. "Revered Master let her have her way last night; it seems he'll have to let her have her way again today."

"Fifth Senior Sister, what are you saying?" Although Chu Weiwei retorted verbally, the body clinging to Su Lin didn't move away by even half a bit.

Gu Qiuyue held her Golden Abacus, her golden eyes rolling around.

"Since Revered Master has been hit, wouldn't that ten-move agreement from just now be void?" She counted on her fingers. "Logically, since Third Junior Sister used underhanded methods, this round should be judged as her loss."

"Judgment of loss? What are you talking about?" Su Hongling was having too much fun. "This is what Third Junior Sister calls 'all is fair in war'! When fighting, who follows rules!"

"Second Senior Sister, you're being biased."

"I am not; I am just speaking the truth."

Ye You squatted beside the stool, gnawing on that piece of beast bone, her dark green slit pupils staring at this side without blinking.

After watching for a long while, she suddenly spoke in a muffled voice.

"Revered Master's face is so red."

"That's for sure." Su Hongling replied. "He's been fumigated by Third Junior Sister's medicine."

"Youer also wants to see Revered Master blush." Ye You licked her lips and actually stood up, about to lean in that direction. "How about Youer also goes to hug Revered Master?"

"Fourth Junior Sister, you come back here!" Seeing someone trying to snatch him, Chu Weiwei immediately spread her arms like she was guarding her food. "Revered Master was won by Weiwei today; no one is allowed to come over!"

"Why?" Ye You tilted her head, her dark green slit pupils full of confusion. "Revered Master isn't yours alone."

"Just because Weiwei got here first!"

Seeing two disciples about to fight over him, their Revered Master, Su Lin felt his temples throbbing.

He held his waist, his face so red it was about to drip blood, the evil fire in his body burning until his reason was almost gone, yet he still had to deal with this bunch of unruly, rebellious disciples.

"All... all of you, settle down!"

Su Lin managed to squeeze out a sentence with great difficulty, but his voice was hoarse and unrecognizable. It sounded not only devoid of any authority but actually carried a kind of softness that made one's heart tremble.

As soon as he spoke, there was another burst of suppressed laughter from the row of stools.

"Revered Master, your voice..." Luo Ximei laughed until she couldn't straighten her back. "It sounds just like last night."

"Someone was shouting quite energetically last night." Mu Qingxue rarely added a cutting remark.

Su Lin: ...

He finally understood.

These rebellious disciples, not one of them was here to help him.

They were all here to watch him make a fool of himself.

"Chu Weiwei." Su Lin gritted his teeth, squeezing the three words out from between his teeth, his flushed face struggling to maintain the last shred of dignity. "You just wait for your Revered Master."

"Revered Master, how are you going to punish Weiwei?" Chu Weiwei was not afraid at all; instead, she clung even tighter, her purple eyes glistening with water, full of anticipation. "Is it like last night? Weiwei likes that so much."
