Aiden stepped into the lavish chamber, his gaze immediately catching Lysandra’s. She lay beside Leona, ruffling the child’s hair, her nightgown slipping slightly over her shoulder. Heat stirred in him, a low hum of desire he carefully tucked behind calm eyes.

"Sir Aiden," Lysandra greeted, a teasing curve to her lips. "What did they say?"

"Nothing," he replied evenly, his eyes lingering on her just enough to make her shift under his gaze. "Don’t worry."

He looked across the room. Arisha, Thristle, Nyxion, and Luna were already asleep, tangled together on the king-sized bed. His eyes softened, lingering on Luna’s gentle breathing.

"And Luna?" he asked quietly.

Lysandra’s expression softened, a flicker of concern passing through her eyes. "The doctor came. She’s... really pregnant. Her species seems to get very protective when carrying their mate’s child. You need to take care of her, Sir Aiden."

A small, fond smile tugged at his lips. He glanced toward Luna and then turned back to Lysandra. Without a word, he leaned down and pressed a careful kiss to her lips, slow and deliberate.

"I’m... in the mood," he murmured, voice low and steady.

Lysandra’s cheeks flushed, a soft giggle escaping her. "Me too."

Aiden’s lips brushed over Lysandra’s with just enough pressure to make her breath catch, and the goblin princess’s long ears twitched at the sudden boldness. Her green skin, flushed with a darker hue around her cheeks, warmed beneath his kiss. She let out a soft, needy whimper that betrayed the playful composure she so often wore.

"Sir Aiden..." she whispered, her tone half a tease, half a plea.

He didn’t let her finish. His hand slid from her cheek down to her throat, fingers tracing the delicate line of her collarbone before resting against the edge of her nightgown. He tugged lightly, the silky strap slipping further from her shoulder.
