Aiden twirled his twin daggers, the polished steel catching the light. His breathing was calm, measured — though the ache in his ribs reminded him of the earlier kick.

Better check before this gets ugly.

Lysandra scowled but nodded, moving with Ivy to the far edge of the hall where a half-broken pillar offered some cover.

Luna cracked her neck, claws sliding free with a metallic shing. "Time to cut a dragon down to size."

Fluffynugget floated in front of Aiden, eyes narrowed into glowing golden slits. "Miii..."

The dragon milf’s lips curled into a predator’s grin.

Her tail lashed once. Then she moved.

Her first attack was a sweeping tail strike, the sheer speed making it a black blur. Aiden ducked under it, daggers flashing as he sliced at the incoming limb. Sparks flew — his blades left only shallow cuts in the scale armor.

Luna darted left, claws raking across the dragon woman’s calf. The strike made her grunt and shift her stance, tail curling protectively around her legs.

Fluffynugget slammed into her temple at high speed, the impact ringing like a gong. She snarled, swiping at him, but the puffball zipped just out of reach.

"Luna! Keep her busy!" Aiden barked.

He slid to the side, daggers spinning into an inverted grip, and thrust forward with blinding speed — aiming for the soft joint between hip and thigh. The point bit deep, drawing a spurt of glowing red-gold blood. The queen hissed and backhanded him with a clawed hand.

He caught the blow on crossed daggers, the force still driving him back several meters.

Damn, she hits hard.

She staggered, growling deep, but didn’t fall. Her molten eyes narrowed — and then her mouth opened.

He dove and rolled, the heat licking at his heels, before springing up and countering with Inferno’s Fury.

Aiden leapt, both daggers reversed, and landed hard on her shoulder — driving both blades into the gap between her collarbone and neck.

She roared, flailing — her massive hand finally catching him and throwing him across the chamber. He hit the floor, rolled twice, and came up in a crouch, spitting blood.

The dragon milfs’s wounds were severe now — smoke rising from her, one leg crippled, her breathing ragged. But her eyes burned hotter than ever.

She planted both hands on the floor, muscles bunching — then launched herself forward like a black meteor.

Luna and Fluffy moved in sync — Luna intercepting her claw with a crossed-arm block that slid her back ten meters, Fluffy smashing into her jaw to snap her head upward.

That gave Aiden the opening he needed.

He slashed in a crossing arc — lightning and wind finishing the job. The dragon milf let out one last, guttural snarl before falling forward, shaking the ground as she hit.
