Finally, Chen Jie’s figure appeared at the gate of the small courtyard. Ruirui excitedly shouted, “Brother-in-law, you’re back.”

“Yeah, I’m back.”

Chen Jie replied with a smile and went inside. Su Yunjin had already started preparing the meal. Although she was wearing worn-out hemp clothes with patches, from behind, her curvaceous figure was still apparent.

Chen Jie admired her for a moment, then moved his gaze and went to the dining table.

And the remaining half of the fish in the pot was mostly in Ruirui’s bowl.

Chen Jie used chopsticks to fish out some fish from his basin, split it, and placed half of the fish meat into Su Yunjin’s bowl.
