"You! I thought you loved her?! How could you be so cruel and kill her!" Rose’s family cried out, surprised at Aaron’s ruthlessness, their voices a mix of horror and accusation, rushing forward in panic."Relax, in-laws. She is not dead. I only did that to provide her with more power," Aaron said, a smile on his face, his tone casual, as if the act was mundane.

"In-law?" Rose said, her face reddened in embarrassment from Aaron’s address to her family. She sat up, the wound already healing, her cheeks flushing with a mix of surprise and fluster.

"Huh?" Aaron muttered, surprised. Rose had returned to "life," but he couldn’t feel any hybrid ability from her. The lack of change puzzled him, his system senses scanning her in vain.

[She can’t be turned. She is already an immortal. So she can’t die. And dying is one of the criteria of turning to a vampire.]

"Then what about a werewolf? You don’t need to die though," Aaron said, a frown on his face, his mind racing for alternatives.

[Have you forgotten what your Immortality entails? The cells are always in their perfect state. Your werewolf gene is not the perfect state of the cell. It’s an anomaly to the cell, so the blood eradicates the werewolf and vampire bloodline.]

"Tsk. So those that become Immortal before being turned can never be turned? That sucks," Aaron clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction, the limitation feeling like a system bug in his empire-building plans.

[Look at the bright side. You now have the ordinary citizens of your empire. Immortals, but not ridiculously powerful. The hybrids can make the army, and these immortals can be the normal citizens. I was beginning to worry over what crazy empire you were building.]

"As if having immortals as citizens isn’t crazy as well," Aaron replied, his voice laced with sarcasm.

"Whatever you say," Aaron sighed, turning his attention back to the resurrected crowd.

"Just who are you? How could you raise the dead so casually?" Rex said, speechless by the sight of Aaron. His werewolf eyes wide, the revival a spectacle that shook even his battle-hardened soul.

"I can do a lot of things. This is just a tip of the iceberg. You should count yourself lucky that you can serve under me," Aaron said, his face neutral like it was no big deal, his hybrid arrogance shining through.

[Arrogant piece of shit.]

"Aaron. Wow. Even I was impressed," Alice said, a smile on her face, her eyes sparkling with admiration for his display of power.

"Alice. Meet Rose officially, my consort. Rose, meet Alice. The empress," Aaron introduced them, a smile on his face as a rift slowly opened behind him, the portal swirling with energy.

"Nice to meet you," Alice said, extending her hands to Rose, a smile on her face, her gesture warm and welcoming.

"Likewise," Rose returned the gesture with a handshake, her initial embarrassment fading into genuine warmth.

"Let’s do our best to make him happy. He is a difficult to deal with alone," Alice said, giggling, her laughter light and infectious.

"Agreed. Every night is a near death experience with him," Rose replied, joining in Alice’s giggles, the two women bonding over shared experiences.

"Wow. It seems you have a notorious reputation with the ladies," Rex exclaimed, his voice carrying a mix of amusement and surprise.

"Shut up," Aaron said, rolling his eyes, the banter a brief respite from the darkness.

"Alright, everyone. You have all been chosen to live in my empire as citizens. Prepare your mind to be amazed. Let me show you what a true sanctuary and paradise looks like," Aaron announced, leading the newly acquired citizens into the rifts while he waited alongside Rose, Rex, and Alice, controlling the movement of the people into the sanctuary with calmness. The crowd moved in an orderly line, whispers of awe spreading as they stepped through the portal.

Aaron entered last, after everyone had been accounted for, the rift closing behind him with a soft hum, sealing the resurrected into his growing empire.

Thor, Loki, and the Primordial dragons continued their long journey to complete the task given to them. The stars streaked past like trails of light, the void a endless canvas of darkness dotted with distant galaxies, their mounts cutting through space with relentless speed.

They had been traveling through the universe for over a year at the speed of light on their mounts. The constant motion had become a monotonous blur, the cosmic wind whispering against their scales and capes, the group a small constellation of power hurtling toward their destiny. "Seriously. Why do we have to travel such a long distance? I’m getting tired of this journey already," Loki complained, beginning to find the journey tiring. His voice carried that signature whine, his body slumped on his mount, the god of mischief’s patience wearing thin like a frayed rope.

"Quit complaining already. If you don’t want to be part of the mission, you can as well turn back and be on your way," Ignis, the Primordial flames dragon, said coldly, already tired of Loki’s antics of complaining with any chance he found. Flames flickered from his maw, his massive form radiating heat that warped the space around him, his irritation palpable.

"Return and ruin my reputation?"

"You never had a reputation to ruin, brother," Thor replied, sitting still with his hand crossed. Mjolnir rested on his legs as he closed his eyes, in a meditating state. His voice rumbled like distant thunder, his muscular frame steady, the hammer’s faint glow illuminating his focused expression.

"Right. Anyways. Like everyone of you, I’m also curious on seeing how these anomalies look like," Loki smiled, his curiosity a mask for his scheming mind, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"Just a warning, Loki. If you try anything stupid, we have the right to end your life," Ignis warned, his flames flaring brighter, the heat intensifying as a clear threat.

"Noted. I will be in my best behavior," Loki promised, his smile widening, though his tone dripped with insincerity.

"Speaking of best behavior, it seems my stress reliever package has arrived," Loki said, a smile on his face as he spotted the obstruction ahead.

In front of them were fleets of spaceships blocking their path. The ships loomed like predatory beasts, their hulls gleaming with weapons arrays, energy shields humming with power, a blockade designed to trap and plunder.

"I will handle this," Loki said, quickly rising to his feet, his excitement bubbling like a pot about to boil over.

"And cause trouble? No way. We can’t waste our time. I will handle it," Ignis said, quickly refusing Loki’s request, his scales rattling with annoyance.

"You are not any better, brother. Neither of you can be trusted to settle this smoothly. We will leave it to Thor," Rhaigon, the Primordial lightning dragon, said, preventing his brother from taking the rein. Electricity arced along his body, his voice crackling with authority.

"It’s no use. They won’t allow us to leave no matter how eloquent we speak. It will be better if I go there, start the conflict, and we can be on our way. Trust me, I know how to deal with space pirates easily," Loki advised. But no one was willing to listen to an advice from Loki, their distrust as solid as the void around them.

Thor rising on his feet, flew towards the spaceship, Mjolnir in his hand. His cape billowed behind him, lightning crackling along the hammer’s head, his presence commanding respect even in the depths of space.

"Greetings. I’m Thor, the god of thunder. Clear the way and allow us to pass. That way, you will be able to keep your life, and your actions will be pardoned," Thor advised, his voice booming like thunder across the void, carrying the weight of divine authority.

"Provide all your valuables, and leave the mount behind, and we will spare your lives," Thor received the pirates’ reply through a speaker. It was clear they didn’t care about Thor’s authority. All they wanted was valuables, their greed echoing like a distorted signal.

"See? I told you it’s worthless. Maybe next time you will believe me," Loki said, a smile on his face being proved right amid his doubters. His satisfaction was palpable, the group’s reluctance only fueling his amusement in this cosmic standoff.
