3: Chapter 3: The Ultimate Battle-Damaged Gear of a Top-Tier Beauty, World Channel Open
The massive metal hatch slammed to the ground with a thunderous crash, stirring up a gust of foul-smelling wind mixed with the scent of engine oil and decay.
Over thirty girls screamed and huddled toward the back of the cabin, their pale bodies jostling and crowding together.
Yu Feng stood his ground, unmoving.
The Captain's exclusive screen in front of him, which was flickering with green light, suddenly flipped its interface.
Two translucent virtual panels that looked exactly like something out of an online game popped up—[world channel] and [trading hall].
In the upper right corner, there was a pulsing population counter: Online Players: 6,600,000,000.
Yu Feng clicked directly on the [world channel].
Densely packed text scrolled frantically like a waterfall, filled with messages from survivors all over the globe.
"What kind of bullshit survival game is this?! One second I was playing ranked in an internet cafe, and the next I'm dumped in the middle of a desert! I'm roasting to death!"
"Brothers, do you have any starting equipment? The system only gave me a pair of white briefs! Am I supposed to whip zombies with my underwear?"
"I'm at an arctic station! Help! Just one pair of white briefs, I've already lost all feeling from the cold..."
"Does anyone have food? I'll trade you my white briefs for some..."
"This is an abandoned airport, there are mutated rats here bigger than dogs! Help! Someone save me!"
"White briefs?"
Chu Yu lunged in front of the screen, completely ignoring her impressive assets swaying violently, and pointed at the scrolling chat logs as she cursed,
"Why does everyone else get white briefs! We don't even have a single thread!"
This roar drew over all the girls hiding in the back.
Dozens of naked beauties crowded around the screen, seeing the bullet-chat messages in the world channel complaining about "only having one pair of briefs."
Chen Yuxin's tears burst forth on the spot from the sense of grievance, and she squatted on the floor, wailing,
"The system is such a bully! At least others can cover up a bit, but our plane was screwed over by this perverted 'game' to the point we don't even have underwear!"
Her rival, Su Tiantian, was trembling with rage, her hands desperately covering her modesty as she cursed through gritted teeth,
"This dog system is absolutely a total pervert! A double-standard dog! Why strip us of our starting supplies and replace them all with that kind of indecent compensation!"
Indignation instantly erupted in the cabin. Over thirty top-tier beauties were so angry their chests heaved, and curses rose one after another.
The fear of the unknown monsters from moments ago was completely washed away by the sheer frustration brought on by this extreme comparison.
They would rather be wearing white briefs in a desert than be naked in this broken plane for a man to look at.
Yu Feng was secretly delighted; these young misses had finally recognized reality.
He casually clicked on the [trading hall] next to it.
It was currently empty, with no listings at all.
This was normal; everyone was currently fighting for their first bite of food, so no one had extra supplies to trade.
But the appearance of this function put Yu Feng's mind completely at ease. As long as he had hard currency in the future, what couldn't he get?
"Alright, ladies, forget about the underwear."
Yu Feng casually closed the panel, turned around to look at the cabin full of pale-skinned beauties, and held up his hands to soothe them,
"Those people wearing briefs in the desert will still starve or burn to death. Our primary mission now is to take advantage of the protection period and get down there to find some food and clothes."
He turned and strode to the edge of the hatch, leaning his head out.
What met his eyes was a scene of deathly silence and desolation.
The dilapidated asphalt tarmac was overgrown with weeds as tall as a man, and the ground was covered in rotting leaves and rusted machinery. It looked like it had been abandoned for at least a decade.
The control tower not far away was snapped in half, its rebar exposed to the air like a withered skeleton.
Looking across the tarmac, about two hundred meters away from the airliner, stood a partially collapsed concrete building.
A crooked, broken sign hung on it: Control Tower Staff Supermarket.
A supermarket meant supplies.
But the trouble was, two humanoid monsters in tattered uniforms were wandering around the supermarket entrance.
Their skin was a nauseating grayish-blue, and the flesh on half of their faces was gone, revealing white bone as they wandered aimlessly through the ruins.
Definitely zombies.
"Everyone, come take a look." Yu Feng pointed toward the small supermarket in the distance.
"The target is there. But if over thirty naked people go in a group, the target will be too big. We'd just be delivering takeout to the zombies."
He paused, his gaze sweeping across the room.
"Five people will go first to scout the path, confirm it's safe, and bring back supplies. The rest will stay behind. Who's coming with me?"
The cabin instantly fell into a deathly silence.
The girls who had been cursing the system so vigorously just now turned pale with fright after seeing the monsters outside, and they shrank back frantically.
Chen Yuxin even covered her mouth and shook her head repeatedly, terrified that Yu Feng would call her name.
After a few seconds of silence...
"I'm the class monitor, I'll go with you!"
Chu Yu bit her lip and took a large step forward.
Her face was a bit pale, and her body was still shivering slightly from the cold wind, but the competitive streak etched into her bones forced her not to back down.
She didn't want Yu Feng to have complete control over the situation right from the start.
"Count me in."
A crisp female voice rang out.
Ding Yutong, the student athlete, squeezed out of the crowd with clenched fists. She had short hair, and her tanned skin and abdominal muscles were taut in the cold wind.
She didn't shyly try to cover herself like the other girls, but walked straight to Yu Feng's side. "I run fast and I'm strong. I can help if something happens."
Just as she finished speaking, Su Nian approached at some unknown point.
Raising that pure little face, her large eyes sparkled with an almost morbid obsession. "Yu Feng, I'll go wherever you go~ I don't want to be apart from you."
This contrast made Yu Feng's heart skip a beat. This girl wasn't just unafraid; she was actually clinging to him. This was a real test of his resolve.
"Fighting zombies? Sounds cool, count me in."
The blonde bombshell Alisa let out a loud whistle and walked over swaggeringly.
She completely ignored the modest behavior of the local girls, her exaggerated F-cup fullness swaying with every step, creating waves as she boldly joined the team.
Chu Yu had the brains, Ding Yutong had the physical prowess, Alisa had a powerful constitution, and Su Nian was incredibly brave.
Exactly five people.
"Wait."
Liu Ruyan, the counselor who had been shrinking in the back, stood up. She forced herself to maintain the composure she usually had at the podium as she directed the remaining girls,
"We can't let them go out naked like this. Go get the seatbelts we found earlier, and those torn seat covers."
Several girls hurried over with a pile of torn fabric and nylon straps.
Liu Ruyan walked up to the scouting party with a few straps, her cheeks burning red, her eyes darting away as she avoided looking at Yu Feng's lower body.
"Conditions are limited. Everyone, just use these to tie yourselves up for now. At least cover the vital parts."
Five minutes later.
Yu Feng looked at the four girls in front of him, and his Adam's apple bobbed hard.
Their aesthetic was truly something to behold.
Su Nian had taken a torn red strip of cloth, wrapped it once around her neck, and then wound it tightly twice down through the deep cleavage of her chest.
This kind of 'barely-there' binding was more lethal than being fully naked; the visual impact was dialed up to the max.
The girls staying behind looked at this scene and all turned their heads away with blushing faces.
Yu Feng coughed dryly, took the widest seatbelt handed to him by Liu Ruyan, and haphazardly wrapped it twice around his waist, barely managing to suppress his arrogant equipment.
"We don't know what's out there; going empty-handed won't do."
Yu Feng turned and headed toward the cockpit at the very front of the cabin.
The metal door slid open automatically after confirming his identity.
The space inside the cockpit wasn't large, but the various instrument panels and consoles were well-preserved. Yu Feng's gaze swept around, finally landing on a metal hidden compartment beneath the seat.
He pulled the compartment open. Hey, good stuff.
A heavy Fire Machete lay quietly inside.
It had a red painted handle and a thick blade nearly half a meter long. The edge was sharpened to a keen finish, glinting with a chilling light in the dim environment.
Yu Feng reached out and gripped the handle, pulling the Fire Machete out with a flourish. With his 11 points of Strength, this heavy machete that originally required a two-handed grip was effortless for him to swing with one hand.
*Whoosh—*
The blade cut through the air, letting out a dull sound.
Carrying the blade, he strode out of the cockpit and stood at the cabin hatch. The four girls, outfitted in their ultimate battle-damaged looks, followed closely behind him.
Yu Feng raised the Fire Machete, fixed his eyes on the zombies two hundred meters away, and strode out of the cabin.
