Rei grabbed her head, frustrated and confused, chest rising and falling fast. Every time she tried to reset, Nia drifted close again, just enough to throw her balance, just enough to scramble her thoughts.

And every mistake lit the crowd up more.

Alicia paused near the wing, eyes widening as she watched Nia slide past Rei again with that slow, teasing bump.

She gulped. Nash had told her to pay attention to Nia’s style, but she never expected... this. It was disgusting, annoying, weird... but the results were impossible to ignore.

Rei was completely out of the game, and in an instant, as she remembered how much Rei had annoyed her the previous night, she understood why Nash would set her as the secret weapon after Nia.

Fuuuck... So it will be my turn next? Alicia thought. Fucking annoying. You better reward me a lot after this... How did he even know it would work?

Rei dribbled up quick, but before she even made a move, Nia slipped in behind her again. She brushed her hip with a soft bump, just enough to throw her balance.

Rei tried to pivot, but the touch hit her nerves, the ball slid right out of her hands.

Nash snatched the loose ball instantly.

He didn’t hesitate. He sprinted up the court, drawing Kai toward him. Then, with a sharp flick of his wrist, he passed the ball to Alicia cutting in from the side.

Alicia caught it clean and rose for the layup, dropped it off the glass, and scored. 82–74.

The crowd roared. The game was reversed for good, now with Kai and Aiko on Nash and Rei in Nia’s pocket, the game was heading for a happy end for Blacklist.

With the game almost secured, Nash focused on the quest and moved straight toward Nia.

"You’re doing amazing, Nia. Formidable work out there," he said low, eyes locked on hers. "You’re really determined to earn that reward, huh?"

Nash chuckled and jogged toward Alicia next.

Alicia’s face brightened instantly.

Baby-Boom pushed hard back, but Rei’s errors widened the gap, score ticking to 90-78 by the time the quarter buzzer loomed, Blacklist pulling ahead steady from her fumbles.

Baby-Boom tried to fight, but Nash’s ball control and awareness pushed the score higher.

Baby-Boom answered with a layup from Hina, 92-80, but for every two points Baby-Boom scored, Blacklist scored six.

The gap grew because of Rei’s mistakes, and at the end of the quarter, the score flashed 98-82.
