164: Long Qing'er transforms into Long Kui
Night.
Inside Panlong Hall, the lights were brightly lit.
Long Qinger carried a bowl of tonic and walked slowly into the hall.
Long Kui was sitting by a round table; seeing her enter, her expression immediately turned somewhat sour.
"Mother." Long Kui's voice carried a suppressed anger. "You crossed the line during the day."
Long Qinger's expression was a bit unnatural. She placed the medicine bowl on the table and said softly, "Kuier, drink this tonic first. As for what happened during the day, it was Mother's fault. Mother apologizes to you."
Long Kui looked at her, her eyes filled with disappointment and shameful indignation.
She took a deep breath and said, "Mother, you must be careful next time."
"In this Harem, you are the only woman who is not His Majesty's concubine. You must mind your image."
"If word of this gets out, where would Father's honor go?"
Long Qinger quickly nodded in agreement and urged, "Mother knows. Hurry and drink the medicine; the effect won't be as good once it gets cold."
Only then did Long Kui pick up the bowl and start drinking in small sips.
Long Qinger stared at her intently. Seeing her drain the medicine in one go, a complex look flashed through her eyes.
The moment the bowl left her lips, Long Kui felt her vision go dark, and her body slumped uncontrollably.
Long Qinger quickly caught her and gently laid her down on the bed.
She looked at her daughter's peaceful sleeping face, reached out to stroke her cheek, her eyes full of guilt and struggle.
"Kuier, Mother promises, just this once, truly just this once." Long Qinger murmured in a low voice, her voice trembling slightly. "Don't blame Mother; Mother really couldn't control herself."
After saying that, she waved her hand and took Long Kui into her Internal World.
Then she put away the medicine bowl from the table and carefully inspected the hall, wiping away all traces belonging to Long Qinger.
Having done all this, her form slowly shifted, turning into the appearance of Long Kui.
Not just her looks, but even her aura and demeanor were identical.
She sat upright by the round table, waiting nervously.
Time passed minute by minute, each second feeling exceptionally long.
She could clearly hear her own heart beating like a drum, and fine beads of sweat seeped from her palms.
She was both nervous and expectant.
She was both afraid of being discovered and longing for everything that was about to happen.
Finally, familiar footsteps echoed from outside the hall.
Long Qinger's breath hitched. She stood up in a mix of tension and anticipation, a flash of panic in her eyes as she stared fixedly at the entrance.
When Di Yan's figure appeared at the door, she felt as if her heart was about to leap out of her chest.
Di Yan stepped into the hall, his Black-Gold Dragon Robe shimmering with a majestic luster under the candlelight.
He looked at "Long Kui," his brow furrowing imperceptibly, as if sensing something was off, yet unable to put his finger on it.
"Beloved Consort, what is wrong?" Di Yan walked up to her and asked.
Long Qinger finally snapped out of it, quickly suppressing the panic in her heart, and said in imitation of Long Kui's tone, "Nothing is wrong. Your Subject was waiting for Your Majesty."
Her voice was exactly like Long Kui's, but there was still a slight stiffness in the details.
Di Yan looked at her, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes, but he did not pursue it further.
Long Qinger took a deep breath, gathered her courage to step forward, and began to undress Di Yan.
Her movements were somewhat clumsy, far from the natural skill of the real Long Kui.
But she forced herself to stay calm, saying softly as she untied his belt, "Your Majesty, it is late. Let us rest."
Di Yan allowed her to proceed, his gaze drifting toward the hall's exterior. "Wasn't your mother supposed to bring you a tonic? Why hasn't she come?"
Long Qinger's heart skipped a beat. A flash of panic crossed her eyes as she hurriedly said, "Your Majesty, Mother has already been here. Your Subject has already drunk the medicine. Mother said she had matters to attend to, so she left first."
As she spoke, her hands didn't stop, removing Di Yan's outer robe and hanging it on a nearby rack.
Di Yan nodded, accepting the explanation without further questioning.
Long Qinger secretly breathed a sigh of relief and continued to undress him.
When her fingertips touched Di Yan's firm chest, her body trembled uncontrollably.
That warm and solid touch made her heart race faster, and her breathing grew ragged despite herself.
Di Yan noticed her abnormality and looked down at her. "Beloved Consort seems exceptionally eager today?"
Long Qinger's heart tightened. She quickly lowered her head to hide the panic in her eyes. "Your Subject just missed Your Majesty."
Saying this, she summoned her courage, stood on her tiptoes, and proactively kissed Di Yan's lips.
This kiss was clumsy yet passionate, carrying a long-suppressed longing.
Di Yan's eyes darkened slightly. He wrapped an arm around her waist and returned her kiss.
Long Qinger felt her whole body go soft; all her reason collapsed at this moment.
She could no longer restrain herself, her arms tightly encircling Di Yan's neck as she passionately sought him.
The thrill of being afraid of discovery while immersed in the act drove her nearly mad.
She tried to imitate Long Kui's reserve, yet at a certain point, she completely abandoned the pretense, letting the desire in her heart dominate everything.
Di Yan picked her up in his arms, kissing her as he walked toward the bed.
Garments fell one by one. Long Qinger stroked Di Yan's firm chest, the longing in her eyes growing more intense.
She could clearly feel Di Yan's body heat, his scent, and his strength.
All of this infatuated her, pulling her into a deep sinkhole of emotion.
Soft moans echoed in the hall, initially carrying a deliberate suppression, as if imitating Long Kui's reserve.
But soon, the sounds became passionate and unrestrained, no longer able to hide the longing and urgency within.
Long Qinger was completely immersed in that complex emotion where excitement and fear intertwined.
She was both afraid that Di Yan would discover the truth and greedily enjoying this moment of intimacy.
Just as the two were about to get down to business, Di Yan suddenly stopped his movements.
He raised his head, looking at the blurred and fervent gaze of the "Long Kui" beneath him, his brow furrowing tightly.
Something was wrong.
Too fervent.
The former Long Kui, even when moved by passion, always possessed a degree of shyness and reserve; she would never seek him with such near-madness as she was now.
A flash of doubt crossed Di Yan's eyes, and he immediately activated the Heavenly Mandate Divine Pupils.
A golden light flashed through his eyes, and the "Long Kui" before him gradually reverted to Long Qinger's appearance.
Di Yan's pupils shrank, and his face instantly darkened.
Long Qinger had not yet recovered from her daze of passion. Panting, she asked, "Your Majesty, what is wrong?"
Her voice was husky with lust, her eyes full of confusion and lack of focus.
Di Yan looked at her with a complex expression, frozen in place for a moment, not knowing how to speak.
Long Qinger slowly came to her senses. Seeing Di Yan staring at her intently, a flash of panic crossed the depths of her eyes.
But she forced herself to stay calm, asking in Long Kui's tone, "Your Majesty, what is wrong? Do you have something on your mind?"
Di Yan let out a long sigh, turned over to sit up, and faced away from her. "Put your clothes on."
His voice was calm, carrying an unquestionable majesty.
Long Qinger's heart panicked. She stared fixedly at Di Yan's back, tentatively asking, "Your Majesty, what exactly is wrong? Is it that Your Subject did not do well?"
