No one understands testing better than me! (Cherry blossom's reaction.)
The Presidential Office in Pretty Country.
Emperor Chuan casually tossed the tablet onto the desk. His overly confident old face was currently plastered with a massive question mark.
"My secretary, my good secretary, tell me, what in the world was that Daxia spokesman talking about just now?"
Fine beads of sweat were currently seeping from his secretary's forehead.
He pushed up his glasses and stammered in reply: "Mr. President, honestly... I didn't really understand it either."
"The entire speech was about Dragon, the Mandate of Heaven, Divine Punishment... This is not normal diplomatic language and is beyond my comprehension."
"Useless!" Emperor Chuan remarked without ceremony.
The secretary's cheek twitched, but he still braced himself and continued his analysis:
"However, Mr. President, I personally suspect this might just be a smokescreen released by Daxia."
"They want to use this sort of mystical nonsense to continue confusing us and concealing their true intentions!"
To prove his speculation, the secretary hastily grabbed another tablet, pulled up a video, and respectfully handed it to Emperor Chuan.
"Sir, look at this. This is a video that has recently gone viral on the Daxia internet. It is said to have been filmed in a place they call Changbai Mountain."
Emperor Chuan impatiently took the tablet.
The video footage was slightly shaky, seemingly shot from a high altitude.
Above a range of snow-capped mountains, the sky was dark. A volcano was erupting violently, black smoke and lava shot skyward, resembling the arrival of the apocalypse.
Just as Emperor Chuan was about to mock the cheap special effects, the scene suddenly shifted.
A dazzling golden light burst forth from the distance, followed immediately by a giant, hundreds of meters tall and composed of pure golden light, shooting into the sky.
It simply extended one hand and gently pressed down on the erupting volcano crater.
Boom!
The earth-shaking spectacle came to an abrupt halt; the gushing volcano was forcefully pressed back down!
Emperor Chuan was stunned, then let out a sneer: "Are you kidding me? Why show me an AI-generated video that anyone can spot immediately?"
"It's too fake. These are the worst special effects I've ever seen. Believe me, nobody understands special effects better than I do!"
The secretary quickly explained: "Mr. President, the point is not whether the video is real or fake, but that... countless citizens in Daxia believe this is real."
"They call it the 'Changbai Mountain Miracle'."
Emperor Chuan's face was full of disdain. Of course, he wouldn't believe this sort of thing was real; it was more ridiculous than aliens crashing into his backyard.
Seeing Emperor Chuan's reaction, the secretary added another piece of explosive information: "Furthermore, Mr. President, Daxia's official attitude is currently very strange."
"Not only have they not stopped the video from spreading, but they have secretly fueled it, while simultaneously heavily promoting a... a very crazy concept."
"What concept?" Emperor Chuan finally showed a flicker of interest.
"Cultivation for All."
"Cultivation?" Emperor Chuan paused. The term was too unfamiliar to him. "What the hell is that?"
The secretary carefully chose his words, trying to explain it in a way he could understand: "You can think of it as... a kind of Oriental magic."
"It means that through specific Cultivation, ordinary people can turn into superhumans, possessing world-destroying power, or even... becoming gods."
"Pfft..." Emperor Chuan finally couldn't hold back, letting out a sneer that quickly escalated into loud, unconcealed laughter.
"Hahahaha! Gods? They want to turn 1.4 billion people into gods?"
"Are they crazy? Or are they high? The best superhumans in the world are right here in Pretty Country! What do they have?"
After the laughter subsided, Emperor Chuan composed his expression and fixed the secretary with a sharp gaze.
"What does the intelligence agency say? They don't believe this nonsense either, do they?"
The secretary immediately straightened his back and quickly replied: "Of course not, Mr. President."
"According to the intelligence agency's latest analysis, they believe Daxia is definitely secretly carrying out some massive plan that we are not yet aware of."
"That's why they created so many smoke screens to deceive people."
"Whether it's that baffling diplomatic statement just now, or the so-called 'Cultivation for All' topic, they are all meant to confuse other countries."
"Or rather, they are primarily trying to confuse us!"
"In that case..." Emperor Chuan leaned forward, resting his interlocked fingers on the desk, "Has the intelligence agency managed to find out what secret they are actually hiding?"
The secretary's expression became somewhat troubled:
"To figure out what Daxia is up to, the intelligence agency spared no expense in utilizing several of their most valuable ace spies, code-named 'The Hourly Worker' and 'The Delivery Man,' who are deeply embedded in the Daxia hierarchy."
"However..."
"However what?" Emperor Chuan frowned.
"However... they only obtained some very vague news that sounds... instantly fake."
"Oh? Tell me, what did they investigate?" Emperor Chuan's curiosity was thoroughly piqued.
The secretary lowered his voice: "Those spies, who have been undercover for many years, have all vaguely gathered from different channels that... Daxia currently seems to truly be preparing a nationwide 'Cultivation for All' plan."
"However, none of them can confirm whether this matter is an unprecedentedly massive smokescreen meticulously designed by the Daxia leadership to cover up other secrets, or if... it is actually true."
"Actually true? Don't be ridiculous." Emperor Chuan waved his hand dismissively: "There are no superhumans in this world, only technology and US dollars."
"So, it can almost be confirmed now that Daxia is secretly preparing a major event and keeping it tightly under wraps, right?"
"That's right, Mr. President." The secretary replied respectfully: "What do you think our next step should be to probe them and figure out their secret?"
"No rush." Emperor Chuan revealed a confident, calculating smile. "Didn't we already order Sakura to probe them?"
"That woman has a lot of guts and ambition. I like her. Let's just wait and see."
He stood up, walked to the enormous floor-to-ceiling window, and looked down at the city below his feet.
"Don't worry, they will definitely show their hand! Faced with Sakura's provocation, that so-called 'Divine Dragon' has to do something, right?"
"The moment they make a move, we'll see right through their hand!"
"Heh... Nobody understands probing better than I do!"
"Let us wait and see!"
... The scene shifts to Sakura, the capital cabinet.
Inside the Prime Minister's office, the troublemaking rookie, who hadn't been in office long, had just finished watching Daxia's truly surreal diplomatic statement.
She turned off the screen and let out a sharp, smug laugh.
"Hahahaha! Did you all see that? Daxia didn't even dare to directly mention the name of our Great Sakura Empire in their statement!"
"What does this show? It shows that they are scared!"
She scanned the dozen or so cabinet ministers in the office, her arrogant aura almost materializing.
"And they talk about the Divine Dragon awakening and the Mandate of Heaven returning! Absolutely ridiculous!"
"This is merely the helpless wailing of the weak! It further proves that Daxia today is nothing more than a complete and utter paper tiger!"
"Yes! Prime Minister is brilliant!"
"Yoxi! Just as you predicted, Daxia truly dared not take any excessive action!"
The ministers bowed in agreement, their flattery ringing incessantly, making the smugness on the troublemaking rookie's face even deeper.
However, there were also some who showed signs of worry.
A white-haired old minister stepped forward and cautiously spoke:
"Prime Minister, forgive my frankness. Although Daxia's words were vague this time, their order for an emergency 24-hour evacuation of citizens is unprecedentedly tough."
"This might indicate that they are preparing for a massive, world-shaking action that we cannot anticipate."
The troublemaking rookie's smug smile instantly froze. She shot a fierce glare at the old minister.
"Baka! Coward! Have the Daxia people scared the guts out of you?" she scolded.
Cold sweat immediately poured down the old minister's face, and he bowed repeatedly: "No, no! I was merely suggesting a possibility!"
"Hmph!" The troublemaking rookie snorted coldly: "That's just a show the Daxia people put on to save their ridiculous face!"
"After twenty-four hours, you will see that they won't even dare to fart!"
"Their so-called countermeasures will never arrive. They can only watch helplessly as we completely tear their face to shreds!"
She slammed her hand down on the desk and issued her final command.
"Now, we must not only win, but we must win in a way they will never forget!"
"Immediately order the Self-Defense Fleet to make all preparations! The moment the twenty-four hour deadline is up, our joint military exercise will begin immediately! Right on their doorstep!"
"Yes!"
All the ministers bowed ninety degrees in unison and departed with their orders.
Only the troublemaking rookie remained in the office.
She slowly walked to the window, looking down at the brightly lit capital, and a nearly maniacal smile slowly blossomed on her face.
She was already fantasizing about the lofty prestige she would gain after fiercely trampling Daxia, that great Dragon, under her feet in this confrontation.
She, the troublemaking rookie, would leap to become the greatest and most outstanding Prime Minister in all of Sakura's history!
The history of Sakura would be rewritten by her!
