168: Please witness that this complete winter is coming!

At this moment, everyone in the auditorium realized this fact.

The Sky Curtain seemed to have indeed not settled this instance.

“Could it be… this instance hasn’t ended at all? Is this just one stage of the mission?”

“But… Lin Ye has already designed the Winter is Coming instance so perfectly, could there be new content?”

“It really looks that way. The initial instance mission description also seemed to say this was a series of missions.”

Everyone exchanged glances.

The instance still hadn’t been settled, meaning it hadn’t fully ended.

There was a high probability that there was a next stage of the mission!

Such a perverted instance, and there’s still more to come?!

Anyone with instance design experience would understand one thing: the number of instance missions within an instance cannot be arbitrarily increased.

Otherwise, if someone simply set a thousand strange missions in an instance, it would purely be a forced increase in difficulty, completely meaningless.

In the Sky Curtain’s settings, if one wanted to set stage missions in an instance, the later stage missions must be able to encompass the previous stage’s missions.

To put it bluntly, the later stage missions must have more new content, new things than the previous stage missions!

Subsequent missions must be more exciting than the previous ones to have any meaning.

Thinking of this, everyone gasped and then sat back down.

They saw Longyuan sitting at the very front, suddenly bursting into laughter.

“Hahaha, interesting, too interesting.”

“As expected of a genius from my Great Xia, truly interesting.”

Longyuan instantly straightened his posture, his eyes sharp, and his entire spirit was different.

If, at this point, there was still something new in Winter is Coming, then this instance could truly be considered the most top-tier, most top-tier competition.

The others in the room might not realize it yet, but Longyuan’s adrenaline was already surging.

If this battle succeeded.

Then Lin Ye would single-handedly push Great Xia into the ranks of the most top-tier Settlements.

-------------------------------------

In the Great Xia Settlement, within the Cliff Villa.

Lin Ye was also intently watching the instance live broadcast.

He had a seriousness he’d never had before, so much so that he even forgot to eat.

To be honest, whether it was Kim Geun-seok or Ito Hidekazu, he often exited when these people were attacking instances.

Because it was too boring, the kind where you could basically see the ending directly.

But this time’s instance, especially the part commanded by Xier, he watched every single frame.

It was indeed brilliant.

Xier’s strategies were difficult to understand with military thinking; some decisions were entirely based on intuition.

But precisely these intuitions were correct.

His set of feints was indeed very ingenious; most people wouldn’t have thought of it.

Moreover, this kind of thing is unlearnable; it all depends on on-the-spot judgment.

The battlefield changes, everything changes, and tactics change accordingly.

And Lin Ye also carefully observed the combat power of the German Settlement just now.

It was indeed too far ahead of this era.

If the general military understanding of Azure Star was still at S1, then the understanding of these Germans was definitely at the late S2, or even feeling a bit like a transition towards modern warfare!

In an instant, Lin Ye felt everything become interesting.

In terms of technology, Lin Ye was an absolute god-like existence, but in some combat methods, he could still absorb a lot from these Azure Star masters.

For example, the loopholes in the cooperative combat of the three main cities in Winter is Coming; the next time Lin Ye designs an instance, he will pay attention to these issues.

Actually, simply abusing people was not interesting; what he wanted was this kind of thing, something that could make him constantly grow.

“Xier, I admit you are very strong…”

“Among the Challengers who have challenged my instance, I would call you the strongest.”

“But unfortunately… tactics are not omnipotent. When strength is equal, tactics are useful, but when technology is overwhelmingly superior, tactics cannot bridge the gap.”

Lin Ye stared at the screen, a meaningful smile playing on his lips.

“But thank you very much for allowing the Azure Star people to see a complete Winter is Coming!”

Witness it!

This complete Winter is Coming!

-------------------------------------

In the instance.

Under the government square of Saint Petersburg.

The Challengers were still cheering, but General Rommel sensed something was wrong.

Because the Sky Curtain had not yet settled, they were still in this cursed instance.

“What’s going on?”

“Why?”

General Rommel scanned his surroundings but found nothing unusual.

But it had been too long, this time was too long.

“General Manstein, General General Guderian, how are things on your end?” General Rommel asked directly in the channel.

“The Bear’s army is still in hot pursuit, showing no signs of stopping!”

“General Rommel, how are things on your end? Haven’t you already occupied Saint Petersburg? Why is the instance still ongoing?”

No!

General Rommel didn’t even think of asking why the Sky Curtain hadn’t ended.

That was something only a fool would do.

Since the instance hadn’t been settled, there was naturally a reason.

Most likely, the instance had a continuation!

And this kind of timing was often the most dangerous!

General Rommel had seen this kind of thing in other instances: creating a false impression for Challengers during the lull between two instance missions, then launching a sudden attack to crush them.

“Stop, our instance might not be over yet!”

The battle-hardened General Rommel immediately reacted.

“Everyone return to formation, maintain combat status!”

“Ah?”

“This instance hasn’t ended?”

“How is this possible? It’s already like this, and it’s not over?”

The Challengers were all shocked and surprised.

They had been in high spirits just now, but now it was as if cold water had been poured on them, and they found it hard to regain their previous tense state.

To be honest, in this freezing environment, they had already tried very hard to persevere until now.

But German was German after all; they still had basic discipline.

Within a minute, all Challengers were back in position, and all military equipment was reactivated!

In fact, at this moment, General Rommel was equally shocked.

He couldn’t understand how there could be subsequent missions when an instance had already been conquered to this extent.

Just then, a piercing alarm sounded throughout Saint Petersburg!

The ground trembled violently.

The heavy snow became even more intense, almost obscuring the sun.

The entire world turned into a white world!
