362: Chapter 362 Abyss Terror Super War Dragon.

Shen Mingyuan did not hesitate.

Raising both hands from his waist, two silver-gray pistols were already in his grip. They were custom-made energy weapons from GUPA. At this moment, their energy bars were full. The moment he pulled the triggers, the muzzles spat out two black-red plasma trajectories, like blades tearing through the night sky, sweeping toward the figure suspended in the air.

The bullets were incredibly fast, but that grayish-white figure was even faster.

The four nozzles on its back instantly changed their spray angle, and thrust exploded. Its entire body pulled an arc toward the side and upward. The black-red plasma bullets grazed the soles of its feet and vanished into the night sky. The ghostly blue light from the nozzles was particularly piercing under the moonlight, but it only lasted for less than two seconds—the overheat protection mechanism activated, the blue light patterns inside the nozzles flickered a few times, and the thrust plummeted.

It could not remain airborne for long.

Just as this realization surfaced in the minds of the three men, the figure adjusted its posture and fell rapidly from a height of over ten meters. The moment it landed, all four limbs hit the ground simultaneously—not in a human running posture, but like some kind of predator. Sharp claws on its hands and feet dug deep into the sand, and then with a sudden burst of power, the entire person shot forward like an arrow from a bow toward the distance.

In the desert night, that grayish-white figure fled frantically among the dunes, using all four limbs at a staggering speed.

Shen Mingyuan did not stop firing his twin guns, chasing after it while shooting. Golden Bone's Mechanical Exoskeleton erupted with maximum power, and he practically glided against the sand, moving at a speed that didn't seem human. Lu Jianchuan remained silent, his silver-white figure following closely behind the two, his feet kicking up deep pits in the sand one after another.

“Watch out for that special virus on him!” Golden Bone shouted while running, his voice coming through the helmet with an electronically synthesized trail. “Though I don't know if it's contagious, you must be careful if you get close!”

Just as he finished speaking, the roar of an engine suddenly came from ahead—

A black off-road motorcycle charged out from behind a side dune, its headlight piercing the night as it drove straight toward the running figure. Upon the vehicle, a giant azure snake was coiled on the back seat, its four white wings spread in the wind to maintain balance.

The moment the motorcycle collided, the figure moved.

It leapt to the side, exerting force with all four limbs. Its entire body shifted horizontally by more than two meters, and the front of the motorcycle brushed past its side. But at that exact moment, the giant snake launched itself from the vehicle!

The azure snake's body unfurled in the air, its three-meter-long frame like an azure whip, accurately entangling the grayish-white figure. Its muscles tightened instantly as it opened its mouth and bit down on the opponent's shoulder—

Then it gave its head a violent toss.

It couldn't bite through.

That layer of grayish-white exoskeleton was too hard; or rather, after the material of the Spacesuit fused with his body, it formed an extremely tough layer of protection. The azure snake's teeth only left a few shallow scratches on the surface, failing to even break the defense.

The figure began to struggle frantically.

Its four limbs exerted force simultaneously, its claws digging deep furrows into the ground. Although the nozzles on its back had overheated, they were still trying to spray out weak blue air currents. The immense strength caused the azure snake's constriction to loosen—

The azure snake made a prompt decision.

It released its hold, and its four white wings flapped violently. Those wings weren't enough to let it truly fly, but they were sufficient for gliding. It detached from the figure, drawing an elegant arc in the air before landing steadily back on the rear seat of the motorcycle, which had already braked to a halt.

The four wings folded, and it coiled up as before.

The figure, having broken free from the entanglement, did not counterattack but continued to sprint forward.

Running on all fours kicked up a long trail of dust on the sand. The grayish-white figure rose and leapt at an astonishing speed. But as it ran, it suddenly slowed down.

Ahead, on the skyline of the sand dunes, dense silhouettes were fanning out.

It was the GUPA blockade line.

Those silhouettes were spread wide, forming an arc-shaped encirclement. Everyone held guns, their muzzles uniformly pointed at the area where it was located. Under the moonlight, the outlines of those guns could be seen as different from ordinary standard-issue weapons—thicker barrels, more complex aiming Systems, and special warheads faintly visible in the magazines, shimmering with a cold light.

The moment it exposed half its body, gunfire erupted.

It wasn't tentative warning shots, but an instantaneous burst of concentrated firepower. Countless trajectories tore through the night sky, covering it head-on. It rolled violently to the side, its limbs pushing off the ground as its entire body carved a sharp arc in the sand, barely avoiding the first wave of the bullet rain.

But the second wave arrived immediately.

Those bullets hit the spot where it had just been standing, pockmarking the sand with dense, deep pits. One crater was less than half a meter from its feet, and the splashed sand grains hit its exoskeleton with a fine, clattering sound.

It recognized those bullets.

Armor-Piercing Rounds. Special warheads designed specifically for high-defense targets, with cores made of ultra-high-density composite Materials capable of releasing immense penetrative force the moment they hit. Theoretically, they could shoot through any known structure.

It did not dare to take them head-on.

It turned and sprinted in another direction. But there were muzzles there too. It turned again, and still more muzzles. The blockade line formed a massive arc, tightly surrounding the area between it and Golden Bone's group. No matter which direction it ran, it was met with a dense rain of bullets.

An armored vehicle drove out from behind the blockade. On the roof, a person hoisted something up.

A rocket launcher.

It knew that thing. An anti-armor weapon for individual soldiers; a single shot could send everything within a dozen meters of the vicinity into the sky. If that thing hit, even if it could avoid the direct strike, the shockwave would be enough to flip it over.

It did not hesitate.

The nozzles on its back sprayed again, and the ghostly blue air current propelled it off the ground. It wanted to go upward, to break through the blockade from the sky—as long as it had enough height and speed, those bullets might not necessarily catch up—

But those bullets were too dense.

Countless trajectories intertwined in the night sky, forming an almost airtight web. It wove, rolled, and turned sharply through the bullet rain, barely avoiding each time, but that was because it was constantly moving and anticipating. If it tried to charge out in a straight line, even for just a second, it would be riddled with holes by that web.

It hung in mid-air, the blue light patterns of the four nozzles flickering frantically; the overheat warning had already lit up.

Just then, a black-red plasma bullet shot from behind it.

It hit the nozzle backpack on its back directly.

That bullet did not penetrate—the layer of exoskeleton was too thick, and protection fused with Spacesuit material was not easily broken. But it exploded. The black-red plasma burst on the surface of the nozzles, the high temperature instantly scorching those precise injection structures.

The blue light patterns of the nozzles flickered violently a few times and then went out.

It fell from the sky.

The sand caught it with a dull thud. It struggled to crawl up and turned its head—

Golden Bone, Lu Jianchuan, and Shen Mingyuan had already caught up, less than fifty meters away. That silver, black, and red interwoven motorcycle stopped beside them, its engine still low-growling. On the back seat, that giant azure snake was coiled, its four white wings slightly spread, its amber vertical pupils staring fixedly at it.

Shen Mingyuan put away his twin guns and reached out to pat the azure snake's head.

“Good job, Xiao Qing.”

He paused.

“Truly worthy of being my Abyss Fear Super Battle Dragon.”
