111: Chapter 111 The Dark Alliance's Backstabbing and Using Others to Kill

The smoke from the Abyss counterattack had not yet fully dissipated.

The massive, headless corpse of the Demon Lord, large enough to blot out the sky, still lay arrogantly across the scorched earth. The churning flesh and blood tissue at the wound had long since solidified, yet it still emitted sickening, thick waves of sulfur and rot.

In the War of the God Domains, there was never a halftime break.

"Damn it! Is that Su Chen insane? He actually managed to punch right through the Abyss!"

Tens of thousands of kilometers away, in a secret chamber illuminated by alchemical runes, a furious roar made the energy crystals hum.

The "God of Alchemy" stared fixedly at the massive divine art light screen before him, which displayed the very site of his crushing defeat.

He violently smashed the exquisitely carved crystal cup in his hand; crimson wine mixed with shards splashed onto his luxurious carpet.

As one of the few remaining high-level members of the "Nine Shrines" Alliance, his original plan had been flawless.

Lure the demons into the territory and use the power of the Abyss to tear apart and crush that arrogant new god along with his disgusting Zerg Swarm.

At the very least, it should have been a situation where both sides suffered, giving him the chance to reap the rewards as a bystander.

But the situation now shown on the light screen was like a stinging slap to the face, making even his Divine Soul tremble.

The demons were annihilated.

That Abyss Legion, which had struck terror into the hearts of countless gods, had been slaughtered to the last.

And that damned Zerg Swarm, far from being exhausted, seemed to have feasted on a grand banquet, their auras becoming increasingly terrifying.

In the corner of the light screen, several slender shadow creatures wielding psionic light blades flashed by—Zerg units he had never seen before.

Further away, a blurry giant shadow was devouring the corpse of the Demon Lord, every squirming movement causing the God of Alchemy to feel a pang of palpitations.

Dark Templar Warriors.

Hybrids.

The Zerg Swarm was evolving.

"I can't wait any longer."

"That lunatic... that lunatic will definitely come back to settle the score with us!"

The God of Alchemy's old face, covered in dry wrinkles, twisted together from extreme fear and malice.

He panted heavily, his chest heaving, the sinister poison in his eyes almost manifesting into substance.

"Since we can't beat him..."

He muttered to himself, his voice hoarse.

"Then let greedier, more powerful fellows go to their deaths!"

He turned his head sharply, casting his gaze toward the shadows in the deepest part of the secret chamber.

There, a bizarrely shaped metal sphere covered in complex ring structures floated quietly.

Its surface was inscribed with billions of tiny spatial coordinates; at the center of the sphere, a pitch-black singularity rotated slowly, devouring all surrounding light.

The Divine Artifact, [Plane Snare].

"Activate it."

The God of Alchemy issued the command, his voice carrying a desperate madness.

"Lock the target coordinates onto the northwest defensive line of Su Chen's God Domain!"

He grinned hideously, the wrinkles on his face bunching together, looking exceptionally ugly.

"Then, send a carefully forged piece of false intelligence to those hungry wolves of the 'Dark Pantheon Alliance'!"

"Say that while the Abyss battlefield was a great victory, in truth, Su Chen committed all his main forces and perished along with the Demon Lord! His God Domain is currently in its most empty state!"

"And..."

He licked his dry lips, his eyes flashing with a light woven of greed and malice.

"Hidden within that God Domain of his are two Semi-Divine Artifacts!"

This was a move to kill with a borrowed knife.

A most vicious open scheme sufficient to drag any powerful Alliance into a quagmire of war.

...

At the same time.

The core of the cold, deathly silent Iron Hive.

Su Chen sat upon the god throne woven of biomass and metal, his slender fingers rhythmically and lightly tapping the armrest.

Every tap produced a dull, metallic light sound that echoed through the empty temple.

Before his eyes, a massive holographic tactical map was slowly unfolding and enlarging, clearly presenting every inch and corner of the entire God Domain.

Red light dots representing the Zerg Swarm had completely surrounded and penetrated that Abyss portal, establishing a constantly expanding bridgehead on the other side.

Within the Void Realm, energy particles vibrated slightly.

The figure of the Psionic Empress Kerrigan shifted from ethereal to solid, quietly emerging. Upon the hideous bone wings behind her, a few drops of dark gold blood that had not yet fully dried were slowly sliding down.

That blood belonged to a high-ranking demon.

"Dominator."

Her voice rang directly in Su Chen's consciousness, carrying a hint of cold, murderous intent.

"Our Overlords have detected large-scale, high-intensity spatial fluctuations in the northwest direction of the God Domain."

Kerrigan paused, adding key information.

"Based on the analysis of fluctuation frequency and energy signatures, it is a standard invasion fleet from the 'Dark Pantheon Alliance'. The quantity... is preliminarily estimated to be at least one hundred thousand."

"One hundred thousand?"

Su Chen's finger tapping the armrest paused for a brief moment.

He let out a sneer; there was no hint of tension in that laugh, only the pleasure of a hunter seeing his prey step into a trap.

"Those rats from the Nine Shrines are losing their patience so quickly."

"They want to divert the disaster toward me."

If this were before the Abyss war, facing a massive allied army composed of one hundred thousand gods, Su Chen might indeed have needed to be cautious, perhaps even taking the initiative to avoid their edge.

But now?

That was then, this is now.

Having just devoured a massive amount of demon genes, the Zerg Swarm, clamoring for "hunger" and "evolution" from the depths of every cell, was in an unprecedented state of violent bloodlust.

They needed more flesh and more genes to water this grand tide of evolution.

Su Chen's gaze shifted from the tactical map, his voice becoming grim and cold.

"Bring up those three high-ranking demon captives we haven't killed yet."

The command was issued through the mental network.

Soon, heavy dragging sounds came from outside the temple.

Three high-ranking demons, their sizes comparable to hills, were dragged to the front, tightly bound by dozens of chains flickering with psionic electricity.

Their limbs had long since been severed, and their bodies were covered in wounds deep enough to see bone, yet the terrifying aura originating from the depths of their Bloodline could still freeze the Souls of ordinary gods.

"To welcome guests coming from afar, one must prepare a bit of a ceremonial sense of welcome."

Su Chen's voice was flat, yet Kerrigan understood immediately.

She took a step forward, her right hand making a grasping motion.

Blinding emerald psionic energy gathered instantly, condensing into a long, narrow psionic warblade.

*Puchi!*

*Puchi!*

*Puchi!*

The blade fell without the slightest hesitation.

Three massive, hideous demon heads, their expressions still frozen in shock and fear, were instantly decapitated and sent flying into the air.

Scalding blood containing immense Demonic Energy erupted like three black-red fountains, accurately splashing onto a Skull Monument the Zerg Swarm had just erected on the border line.

That Skull Monument was built entirely from the skulls of demons, emitting an endless ferocity.

"Order the entire army."

Su Chen's voice turned into a cold torrent of will, instantly echoing in the depths of the minds of every Zerg unit within the God Domain through the swarm network.

"Hang these three heads high upon our border line."

His will was clear and absolute.

"Go and tell those greedy invaders—"

"This is the fate of those who step into the territory of the Zerg Swarm!"

"Furthermore..."

The corners of Su Chen's mouth curled into a cold arc.

"Have all Lurker units bury themselves in the designated positions in advance. Since the guests have come, don't let any of them leave."

"It just so happens that my 'Hybrid' experiments are still short a few fresh corpses of divine beings."

A reverse encirclement net targeting the invaders had already quietly opened amidst his cold laughter.
