142: Chapter 142 Nora's Rift and the Templars' Harvest
The battle was thoroughly ignited the moment that cold declaration fell, suddenly entering a brutal, white-hot intensity.
The entire battlefield was invisibly divided into two distinct areas.
On one side was ultimate agility and lethal assassination. The Black Dragon Queen, an Incarnation of Void Realm lightning, along with a death web woven by hundreds of Dark Templar Warriors, was conducting a one-sided encirclement and suppression of twelve Abyssal Demon Dragons.
On the other side was the ultimate showdown of pure power and primal savagery.
The Abomination Titan, sent flying by a brutal collision from Golden Behemoth Nora, did not crumble. Its massive body, stitched together from millions of corpses and endless resentment, twisted and rolled in mid-air before finally bracing against the ground with four deformed giant arms, letting out a roar that shook the heavens and earth.
The chunks of flesh making up its body writhed violently, as countless agonized faces surfaced and sank upon its exterior.
The abyss-like giant mouth on its abdomen snapped open, spewing forth not a simple physical attack, but thick, inseparable clouds of ghastly green mist.
Corpse Poison!
This was a lethal poison catalyzed by Abyssal magic from the resentment of countless living beings before death and the essence of rotting flesh. The air was instantly corroded, emitting a "sizzling" wail; even space itself seemed to become viscous and filthy under this toxic mist.
The toxic mist surged, sweeping toward Nora's massive body. Everywhere it passed, even the hard skeletons of giant beasts began to emit black smoke, rapidly softening and dissolving.
"Playing with poison?"
Through Nora's sensory System, Su Chen, who was observing everything simultaneously, felt a trace of cold mockery rise in his will.
"Flaunting the use of toxins before the Zerg Swarm is like lighting a match in front of a star."
"This is the Zerg Swarm's specialty."
His will remained unruffled, as if stating the simplest of facts.
"Nora, stop wasting time with it."
"End the battle."
"Roar—!"
Receiving the Dominator's final command, the Golden Behemoth let out a roar that pierced the clouds. In that roar, there was no longer any testing; only a pure, all-crushing will of destruction remained.
It no longer held back any power.
Crack! Crack! Crack-crack-crack—!
A tooth-grinding sound of carapace friction and mechanical opening mechanisms came from Nora's back.
The rows of hideous protrusions on its back, which originally looked like dormant volcanoes, began to undergo violent structural changes. Thick biological armor split open layer by layer, folding to the sides to reveal the biological tissues hidden beneath, radiating an Aura of destruction.
A faint blue light lit up deep within those newly exposed muzzles. Initially just faint specks, the light then exploded at an exponential rate, becoming blindingly bright.
Terrifying energy was converging and compressing within.
The surrounding air was ionized by high heat, forming visible rings of blue electric arcs that danced frantically around the muzzles.
[Biological Plasma Great Cannon: Full Power Mode]!
Activate!
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
There was no pause, no so-called charging wind-up.
The moment the command was given, hundreds of plasma pillars—several times thicker than any previous volley—merged into a torrent of destruction. At a distance that could almost be called zero, they accurately blasted the Abomination Titan's head!
High temperature!
The extreme heat instantly evaporated the clouds of Corpse Poison, like the blazing sun dispersing thin ice.
Following that, the plasma torrent burned through the layers of rotten flesh without resistance, vaporizing the twisted, resentful Souls along with their vessels.
The Abomination Titan's massive head, already crude and driven only by instinct, failed to maintain even a complete shape under this world-destroying volley.
The upper half of its head, along with every structure inside, was directly erased from a physical level.
At the blasted wound, there was no blood, only charred, vitrified tissue. And in the center of that shattered head, a massive object resembling an obsidian heart was exposed.
That black core was still thumping. With every beat, it emitted dense Abyssal magic, attempting to repair the surrounding destroyed tissues.
But this was not the end.
This was merely the prelude to the execution.
Nora's massive body lunged forward. Those golden giant claws, capable of easily tearing through the outer armor of an interstellar warship, pierced deep and mercilessly into the Abomination Titan's chest with an Aura that could rend anything.
The sharp claws pierced the tough shell of corpses, stabbed through the viscous internal tissues, and locked firmly onto the main skeletal structure within.
Nora raised its hideous golden head, with only one pure thought in its will.
"Rip... open!"
On its arms, every inch of biological muscle fiber instantly expanded to the limit. Golden biological energy flowed frantically along the muscle patterns, providing inexhaustible strength.
The scalp-numbing sound of bones snapping and the tearing sound of muscle fibers being forced apart intertwined densely, forming a brutal symphony.
Nora exerted force with both arms and gave a sudden, violent rip!
Riiiip—!!!
A massive sound of tearing silk echoed between heaven and earth.
The six-hundred-meter-tall Abomination Titan, that war monster composed of millions of corpses that seemed as if it could never be destroyed, was actually torn in half inch by inch, starting from the center of its chest, by Golden Behemoth Nora!
Black, foul-smelling blood and rotting internal organs, mixed with countless shattered bones, poured down from mid-air like a bursting black waterfall.
A nauseating storm of blood and gore blanketed this land of white bones.
This scene was bloody and brutal to the extreme, yet within the Zerg Swarm's aesthetics, it was full of a primal, savage, and peerless beauty of power.
On another battlefield shrouded in shadows.
"No! I am immortal! I am an Archduke of the Flesh Council..."
Along with one last desperate wail that echoed on a spiritual level, the massive head of the final Abyssal Demon Dragon soared into the sky.
In its dragon pupils, there remained a look of unbelievable terror.
The figures of three Dark Templar Warriors appeared beside its massive corpse, hot dragon blood still dripping from the psionic energy blades in their hands.
At this point, the twelve Abyssal Demon Dragons transformed from Demon Archdukes—the twelve high-ranking members of the Flesh Council—had been completely wiped out within a few short minutes.
The moment the battle ended.
The twelve Dark Templar Warriors who had just bathed in the Archduke's blood began to undergo strange and violent changes.
The psionic energy blades in their hands—the original ghostly green light representing pure psionic energy—began to flicker and twist, gradually being tainted and replaced by a deeper, more violent dark red.
The chaotic energy contained within the blood of the Abyssal Demigods was undergoing a violent conflict and Fusion with their pure Khala psionic energy.
Their body contours began to blur, as if they were about to melt into the shadows.
Then, they began to uncontrollably attract, fuse, and expand.
Streaks of dark red lightning exploded across the surface of their fusing bodies, and a terrifying pressure approaching the Peak of the Demigod level—far exceeding the sum of their individual parts—swept out like a mental storm.
[Ding! Advanced unit evolution detected!]
[Dark Templar Warriors are absorbing a large amount of Abyssal Demigod blood; Soul Fusion is occurring...]
[New unit prototype: Dark Archon (Red Orb)!]
Su Chen's will descended upon this area, quietly observing the scene. A satisfied arc of his plan coming to fruition curled at the corners of his mouth.
He could clearly sense that the new unit currently forming no longer contained pure psionic energy, but an extremely chaotic and unstable mental energy mixed with the powers of the Void Realm and the Abyss.
"Very good."
There was a trace of appreciation in his will.
"Although it hasn't completely taken shape yet and will still take time to stabilize."
"But this chaotic power of the mental storm... is enough to make the Soul of any System's spellcaster tremble when facing it."
