33: The dawn of hope, the Dark Thunder Wolf Emperor!

As time slowly passed, the sun gradually set, and it was afternoon.

After a long period of high-speed flight by the thunder ink, Xu Yi finally crossed the provincial border and entered the airspace of Xiyu Province at this moment.

"Master, we have entered Xiyu Province and are heading to the designated location," Ling Meng's gentle voice echoed inside the warplane.

Like a spring breeze sweeping across a lake, it gently awakened Xu Yi, who was closing his eyes and resting in the pilot's seat.

Xu Yi slowly opened his eyes, a cold light flickering within them.

He looked at the three light spots on the large screen, realizing that his position was gradually approaching those of the two Beast Emperors.

Moreover, the two Beast Emperors were currently gathered together and had not chosen to act separately.

A cold smile curled at the corner of Xu Yi's mouth as he muttered to himself, "Good, they're all gathered together, saves me the time of having to search for them one by one..."

Before he finished speaking, Xu Yi's mind stirred, and the smart watch on his arm instantly transformed into a set of dark black battle armor, tightly encasing his entire body.

It emitted a faint, special metallic luster, appearing to be of extraordinary quality!

As the thunder ink continued to penetrate deep into the heart of Xiyu Province, Xu Yi, who was preparing to directly kill the two Beast Emperors and then deal with the remaining fierce beasts, found the scene before his eyes gradually becoming horrifying.

What was once a prosperous city had now been reduced to ruins.

The roars of fierce beasts and the cries of humans intertwined, forming a scene of living hell!

The beast tide wantonly pursued the civilians and martial artists within Xiyu Province, leaving devastation in its wake wherever it went.

"Damn it!" Xu Yi gritted his teeth, the killing intent in his eyes growing more intense.

He had witnessed such scenes countless times since joining the army, but he still couldn't help but be filled with rage.

Suddenly, terrifying electric arcs coiled around his body, as if he were a thunderous behemoth about to erupt!

Just then, a sudden peal of thunder echoed in the sky, and without warning, multiple streams of powerful purple lightning descended.

Like divine punishment, they streaked across the sky, precisely targeting the many rampant fierce beasts below!

Under the bombardment of the purple lightning, the beast tide turned into charred black corpses, and the air was filled with a pungent smell of burning!

"I... I'm not dead?!" "Or is this heaven?" a Martial Spirit-level martial artist, who was about to be devoured by a fierce beast, stared at the charred corpse of the fierce beast in front of him, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief at having survived a catastrophe.

Meanwhile, another martial artist nearby, who had also been pursued by fierce beasts and then rescued, quickly analyzed the situation.

"How could there be charred beast corpses in heaven?"

"We're all alive and well; it seems a council warplane flew by just now."

"To be able to unleash such terrifying lightning energy and instantly kill all the surrounding fierce beasts, and there's only one aircraft... I speculate that a council member has arrived as reinforcement!"

The martial artist's words were filled with excitement and reverence.

Upon hearing this, the surrounding martial artists' eyes immediately lit up with hope.

"Great! Lord Council Member has come to our aid, these fierce beasts won't be arrogant for much longer!"

They had all barely escaped with their lives from the cities overrun by fierce beasts.

Now, they finally saw a glimmer of hope.

"It's temporarily safe now; let's find a place to hide first," at everyone's suggestion, they began to search for hiding places, waiting for all these fierce beasts to be eliminated.

Meanwhile, Xu Yi continued to pilot the thunder ink at high speed through the skies of Xiyu Province.

Along the way, thunder roared and purple lightning flashed, striking all the beast tides encountered below into charred corpses.

Due to excellent control of his power, he did not turn them into worthless black ash as before.

At the same time, Xu Yi unreservedly released his Martial Emperor martial artist's pressure, announcing his arrival to the civilians and resisting martial artists within Xiyu Province!

As Xu Yi piloted the thunder ink, traversing the skies of Xiyu Province like thunder, the beast tide quickly relayed the news of a Martial Emperor coming to humanity's aid to the two Beast Emperors who were currently destroying major human cities and plundering resources.

"Humanity's reaction is quite fast."

The Wind Dance Mantis Emperor stood atop a skyscraper it had utterly destroyed, its hoarse, grating voice echoing through the empty city, its eyes burning like two eerie green flames.

"Hmph, what if they're fast? They can't be faster than our plan; that old fellow guarding this place has already been dealt with by us."

The Dark Thunder Wolf Emperor slowly emerged from the distant ruins.

Due to its immense size, the ground trembled slightly with every step it took.

A sinister smile curled at the corner of its mouth, its words filled with arrogance.

It licked the corner of its mouth, as if still savoring the taste of Lu Li's fresh blood.

Dealing with a mere early-stage Martial Emperor was not difficult for it, being at the peak of the Beast Emperor realm.

"However, since humanity has sent a new Martial Emperor as reinforcement, why don't we go and meet him?" The Dark Thunder Wolf Emperor's eyes suddenly turned ferocious.

"If we can take him down too, then this mission will be overfulfilled, and Beast God will surely reward us handsomely when we return!"

At this point, a flicker of greed and desire flashed in the Dark Thunder Wolf Emperor's eyes.

Feeling the surge in its cultivation after devouring that human Martial Emperor, if it could also devour this reinforcing human Martial Emperor, its cultivation would once again undergo a qualitative leap!

Coupled with the resource rewards given by Beast God upon returning to the Beast God Alliance, it even had a great chance to break through to the Beast God realm, admired by all beasts, and become one of the Beast God Alliance's leaders!

Once the full-scale war with human forces began, it would be able to claim a larger share.

Given humanity's current rate of development, being annihilated by their powerful Beast God Alliance was only a matter of time!

And going forward, only by breaking through to greater strength could it gain more benefits!

However, the Wind Dance Mantis Emperor, who had only recently broken through to the Beast Emperor realm, seemed hesitant after hearing this.

"But... Beast God did not order us to engage with the Great Xia Country Martial Emperor who came to support us."

"Our mission is only to destroy cities, plunder resources, and kill as many human martial artists as possible. Now that Martial Emperor Lu Li is dead, our mission has been successfully completed."

"Now that the Great Xia Country Martial Emperor has arrived as reinforcement, why don't we... quit while we're ahead and withdraw from Xiyu Province as planned?"

"To avoid unnecessary risks..."

Given the Dark Thunder Wolf Emperor's strong stance and rank, even if they teamed up and managed to kill this reinforcing human Martial Emperor, it certainly wouldn't share the human corpse with it.

For it, it was a thankless task, and it was better to withdraw from Xiyu Province early to prevent any accidents.
