48: In the desolate mountains of the west, the Blood God Cult’s lair!

Xu Yi's brows furrowed as he listened to Sun Jingyan's report.

After a moment of contemplation, he nodded and said,

"So that's how it is."

Immediately after, something else came to Xu Yi's mind, and he looked sharply at Sun Jingyan, asking,

"Then do you know the exact location of the Blood God Sect's lair now?"

He planned to directly attack the Blood God Sect's lair and annihilate it with a Thunderbolt.

This evil organization could not be allowed to grow stronger.

Threatening more innocent lives!

Sun Jingyan's eyes flashed with a complex expression, a mix of guilt and helplessness.

After a moment of thought, he responded in a low voice,

"Sir... according to our reconnaissance, the Blood God Sect's lair is most likely hidden in the desolate mountain range in western Jingchu Province."

"The terrain there is intricate and difficult to attack, making it very suitable for them to hide."

At this point,

Sun Jingyan paused, a hint of caution in his tone, and said,

"Please punish this subordinate, Sir. We currently cannot determine the exact location of the Blood God Sect's lair and need further confirmation..."

He sighed and then quickly explained to Xu Yi,

"Based on fragmented information from the martial artist army who bravely sacrificed themselves in the previous campaign against the Blood God Sect, we speculate that the Blood God Sect may possess multiple Martial Emperor Level Evil God puppets."

"Because of this, although we already know their approximate hiding place, we dare not rush in on our own to confirm the exact coordinates, fearing to alert them or suffer another crushing defeat."

"We could only wait for Councilor Xu's support to arrive..."

Xu Yi nodded upon hearing this, his face not showing much emotion.

He understood the 'cowardly' behavior of Sun Jingyan and the others.

Facing the Blood God Sect, which possessed Martial Emperor realm Evil God puppets,

Consolidating forces to prevent them from taking the opportunity to infiltrate the city and holding out for reinforcements was indeed the best choice.

Otherwise,

If they were to suffer another major defeat, Jingchu Province's losses would only be greater, and more innocent civilians would be forcibly abducted by the Blood God Sect.

Becoming sacrifices for that Starry Sky Evil God!

Thinking of this,

A cold glint flashed in Xu Yi's eyes; he didn't want to waste any more time and prepared to act immediately.

He gazed at the President, Sun Jingyan, before him and ordered in a deep voice,

"By this Emperor's command, immediately assemble all elite martial artist troops from the provincial Army and Horse Division and follow this old man to surround the western desolate mountain range area."

"Charge in, find the Blood God Sect's lair, and completely annihilate it!"

His voice was filled with the majesty of a Martial Emperor martial artist.

Making Sun Jingyan's heart tremble!

He then immediately responded with a solemn expression,

"Yes, Sir!"

"This subordinate will go and convey your order now, ensuring that all martial artist troops in the province are quickly assembled and obey your command!"

With that said,

Sun Jingyan quickly tapped the communication ring on his finger.

He began sending messages to the various Army and Horse Division Chiefs who were patrolling and stationed in various cities, preventing another attack from the Blood God Sect.

Informing them that Xu Yi had already arrived as reinforcement.

Ordering them to immediately gather all elite martial artist troops and head to the vicinity of the western desolate mountain range area for assembly.

Preparing to encircle and annihilate the Blood God Sect under Xu Yi's leadership and wash away their past shame!

After conveying Xu Yi's order,

Sun Jingyan again respectfully said to Xu Yi,

"Sir, your order has been conveyed, and the Army and Horse Division Chiefs of each city have all responded and are assembling all elite martial artist troops!"

Xu Yi nodded slightly upon hearing this.

"Very good, follow this Emperor to annihilate the Blood God Sect!"

After his voice fell, his figure flickered, and he directly returned to the thunder ink fighter jet parked nearby.

Sitting in the pilot's seat,

He gave an order to Ling Meng on the large screen in front of him.

"Xiao Meng, activate full speed mode and head to the western desolate mountain range area of Jingchu Province."

Ling Meng quickly responded,

"Understood, Master."

"Planning the best route, preparing to depart..."

As Ling Meng's voice fell,

"Boom!"

The fighter jet emitted a sky-shattering roar that echoed around.

Then, under Ling Meng's automatic piloting,

The fighter jet quickly ascended and began to head towards the western desolate mountain range area of Jingchu Province!

At the same time,

Sun Jingyan also quickly shouted to the high-ranking officials from Jiangling City who had come to greet Xu Yi,

"Quick, immediately assemble all martial artist troops from the city's Army and Horse Division and follow Councilor Xu!"

The people around him quickly responded after receiving the order,

"Yes, President!"

Then, they began to assemble the army at the fastest speed, following Xu Yi's fighter jet, and heading towards the western desolate mountain range area of Jingchu Province...

For a time,

Thunder rumbled in the sky of Jingchu Province.

Numerous fighter jets from the Army and Horse Division, like sharp swords piercing the sky, followed behind the thunder ink, pointing directly towards the western desolate mountains.

On the ground, the martial artist troops of each city's Army and Horse Division were ready to go.

Their bodies encased in battle armor, their spirits immediately became excited when they learned that the Councilor who had come to reinforce them was Xu Yi.

The chariots they rode began to depart in a mighty procession!

The thunder ink, carrying Xu Yi, was like an overlord in the sky, swiftly traversing through the clouds.

And not long after leaving Shui Ling City,

As he was speeding towards his target, Xu Yi's extremely keen perception suddenly caught a trace of unusual evil aura!

As Xu Yi manually operated the large screen in front of him,

He saw that the eyes of the many martial artists appearing below flickered with eerie red light; some had numb expressions, while others were filled with bloodlust.

They were definitely cultists controlled by that Starry Sky Evil God.

They were moving towards the outskirts of the city, clearly preparing to launch an attack on human towns!

"Are these the martial artists controlled by the power of the Evil God?"

Xu Yi's brows furrowed slightly, and a chill surged in his heart.

He could clearly sense that the strength of these martial artists ranged from Martial Sect to Martial Venerable, and their numbers were quite large.

But unlike martial artists who broke through their realms normally,

The auras of these cultists, whose martial artist levels were forcibly raised by infusing energy, revealed a sense of weakness and lifelessness!

And their consciousness had also been eroded by the Evil God's power.

From then on, they would forever be puppets controlled by this Evil God.

"Then let this old man help you find liberation."

Xu Yi's voice was filled with icy coldness, chilling to the bone like a biting wind.

As his words fell,

The originally clear sky suddenly became gloomy, and dense purple lightning, like a divine punishment,

Poured down without warning!

"Boom!"

Thunder rumbled, and lightning flashed.

The controlled cultists of the Blood God Sect below, under the baptism of the lightning, instantly turned into wisps of black smoke and dissipated into the air.

None survived...

Immediately, the thunder ink continued to speed towards its destination, and no Blood God Sect cultists encountered along the way were spared.

All were eliminated by Xu Yi with Thunderbolt methods.

As time passed,

Xu Yi gradually ventured deeper into the western desolate mountain range of Jingchu Province; the scenery was desolate and rugged.

Peaks stood tall, shrouded in mist.

And the number of Blood God Sect cultists along the way also increased.

This undoubtedly confirmed Sun Jingyan's intelligence.

The Blood God Sect's lair was indeed hidden within this mountain range!

Upon arriving here, Xu Yi ordered Ling Meng to stop.

Waiting for the arrival of the many elite martial artists from the Jingchu Province Army and Horse Division.

At the same time, he vigilantly observed his surroundings.

He noticed that in addition to the controlled human martial artists, many fierce beasts originally inhabiting the mountain range had also been eroded by the Evil God's power.

Becoming the Blood God Sect's pawns!

"This Evil God from the Starry Sky does not seem to be cooperating with the Beast God Alliance."

Xu Yi secretly speculated in his heart.

And at this moment,

The Blood God Sect cultists in the mountain range ahead had already discovered Xu Yi's presence high in the sky!

"Kill...!"

Hoarse roars began to emanate.

Immediately after,

Groups of Blood God Sect cultists, mixed with human martial artists and fierce beasts, surged out like a tide.

Coming high into the sky, they swarmed towards him in a dense mass.

Their eyes flickered with a disregard for death!
