62: Beyond this world, the question of lifespan, the talisman master

After reaching a certain altitude, you encountered a layer of gale winds. The higher you went, the stronger these gale winds became. Generally, only those at the Primordial Spirit Realm could break through this gale layer. Besides the sky, this kind of gale wind existed in all directions between heaven and earth.

After breaking through the gale layer, another kind of spatial energy blocked your path. You knew this was what Martial Artists considered to be the boundary of the world.

Because any Martial Artist who reached this point would naturally assume that this was the world's boundary, and that the Origin Qi of heaven and earth originated from here.

However, you knew that this spatial energy was not the world's boundary; there was still a vast space behind this barrier, and only after passing through this space would one reach the true boundary of the world.

You already had research into the Dao of Space, and after promoting to the Law Realm, your utilization of space became even more proficient. You easily passed through this spatial barrier.

After passing through the barrier, you arrived in a mysterious space. Within this space, you felt that you could instantly appear anywhere in the world.

This space possessed vast and majestic energy; this energy was very similar to the Origin Qi of heaven and earth, only of a higher quality.

Besides this, you saw two exceptionally bright orbs of light, one emitting the Qi of extreme yin and the other emitting the Qi of extreme yang.

These two were naturally the true forms of the sun and moon of this world. Like your three-dimensional runes, they were the manifestation of Law in reality.

Furthermore, various Laws of heaven and earth were exceptionally active in this space; this was definitely an excellent place for comprehending the Dao.

You wandered around this space, stopping and going. After your measurements, you discovered that this space was ten times larger than the current world.

And in the process of measuring, you also found the true boundary of the world.

Before you was a translucent light screen. This light screen resembled a layer of flowing aurora, its surface shimmering with seven-colored ripples, sometimes as calm as a water surface, sometimes as twisted as a thunderstorm. When approaching it, you could hear a low humming, as if billions of runes were resonating.

Behind the light screen was endless darkness; there was nothing in the darkness, just void.

From that endless darkness and void, you felt an extremely fatal danger.

Just as you intended to get closer to carefully observe this light screen, and even wanted to reach a hand out behind the light screen, a massive amount of information suddenly flooded into your mind.

This was the Heavenly Dao, fearing that you would court death by directly rushing out of the world, transmitting some information to you regarding the world and what lies beyond the world.

The general meaning of the information was that everything beyond the world was a void, and anything that fell into it would be assimilated by the void, except for the world itself.

As for why the world was so special and able to exist within the void, even the Heavenly Dao could not answer this question.

Moreover, worlds also had distinctions of strength; some worlds were very powerful from the moment of their birth, while some worlds were very weak at their birth.

Of course, the strength of a world was not fixed; a world could autonomously become stronger.

The way for a world to become stronger was to cultivate the living beings nurtured within the world. The growth of these living beings could enhance the world's foundation, and when the world's accumulated foundation reached a certain level, it could promote to a higher-level world.

"Does this mean that this Middle World in the simulation could potentially promote to a Great World? Or can it only become a stronger Middle World?"

Lin Yu was very curious about the spectacle of world promotion, wondering if he in the simulation could help the world promote.

After learning the information transmitted by the Heavenly Dao, you gave up the idea of courting death by reaching out, relying on your immortal body.

Listening to the Heavenly Dao's description of what lies beyond the world, you felt that if your hand were to reach out, it would likely be assimilated into nothingness by the void. If it were a conceptual erasure, wouldn't you become the one-armed Yang Guo?

However, there was one point in this information that you were quite concerned about, and that was the issue of Lifespan.

According to the information, before the world Rank reaches a certain level, the Lifespan of living beings born within the world has a limit.

Your ten-thousand-year Lifespan had already reached the limit that the current world could achieve. Now, unless you go to a higher-Rank world, or this world promotes.

Or if you truly become strong enough to a certain level, able to transcend the world and survive in the void outside, then naturally there would be no Lifespan limit.

In your view, among these methods, the only one most likely to be realized is the world's promotion.

Go to a higher-Rank world? This world does not have an Upper Realm to which one can perform an Ascension. As for transcending the world, that is even more ethereal.

It is not just living beings that have a Lifespan limit; even the world has a Lifespan limit. When the time comes, the world must also return to nothingness.

After exploring the true boundary of the world and understanding the dangers beyond the world, you no longer paid attention to these matters.

Your main goal for the next step was to push the development of the world to see if you could wait for the world's promotion within your lifetime.

You utilized the Dao of Space to instantly appear within the Xuanhuang Dao Palace from this space.

You felt that this space was embedded on the periphery of the world, and you called that space the Heaven Beyond Heaven.

After returning, you used the power of Law to renovate the Xuanhuang Dao Palace, and afterwards, you moved the entire Dao Palace into the Heaven Beyond Heaven.

Afterward, you created some tokens and gave them to those Martial Saints; these tokens were the credentials for entering and leaving the Xuanhuang Dao Palace in the Heaven Beyond Heaven.

And you warned them not to leave the radiation range of the Xuanhuang Dao Palace's power while in the Heaven Beyond Heaven.

This was because the Heaven Beyond Heaven was filled with thin power of Law; for these Martial Saints, it was both a Holy Land for comprehending the Dao and a Forbidden Ground that could take their lives.

At the age of 1200, under your promotion, the world was developing steadily. Based on the runes you taught, the Martial Artists developed a special auxiliary profession.

They discovered that by combining different runes and inscribing them onto paper made of special Materials, and then inputting energy, this paper would produce different effects depending on the runes.

Everyone called this kind of thing a Talisman, and those who could create Talismans were called Talisman Masters.

At this time, some elderly Martial Saints had passed away one after another. Afterward, through the supplementation of newly promoted Martial Saints, the number of Martial Saints reached seventy-five.
