Chapter 114: Mel’s Visit

What Jayden didn’t know was that Camilia came with Harper, but that wasn’t an issue because he would definitely know.

Jayden had to drop Luke off at his house before driving the car to Seaman District, where the apartment was located.

This was the only place he could stay till nightfall, and then he would return to Dominion Island following the secret route.

Mr. Collins was outside when he spotted him entering the compound. It was the Orion V, which Mr. Collins didn’t know, but the fact that he had heard about the bikers’ attack news made it clear.

It was Jayden.

The news had spread around the whole city before Jayden even arrived there, and Mr. Collins was so surprised to see him at that time of the day.

"Jayden?" he asked, visibly confused as he walked over slowly. "We heard about what happened. Are... are you alright?"

Jayden nodded. "Yeah, I am..."

Jayden was pretty fine in the face. His clothes and shoes... it never looked like that of someone who had been chased and shot at by assassins on the highway for hours.

It was... amazing...

But sure, everyone knew about the chopper that had come to his aid... that was where the questions started.

Many clearly knew that it wasn’t the FBI or CTU... it never looked like one.



So the question is... who are they?

And Collins was the first to ask Jayden that question.

"Who are those people in the chopper? They saved you. Do you know them?"

Jayden gave him a casual look and shrugged. "I have no idea who they are. And point of correction, the car saved me more."

Jayden threw a sharp glance. "If the car wasn’t strong enough to withstand the shots, I would have been killed before those people arrived."

Mr. Collins nodded to that as it was indeed true, so they had to drop the topic as Jayden headed to his own apartment.

He had left here for almost a month, but no one had moved in yet, and the fact that it was the only available apartment left made it a fortune.

Jayden would have had nowhere to go...

Then...

When he had settled in, it didn’t take long before he heard a knock on the door.

Jayden flinched at once, as he quickly grabbed a knife in the kitchen before approaching the door.

"Who’s that?" he asked, his voice as stern as possible to alarm whoever was there that he was ready for anything.

Jayden’s mind was focused on the possibility of the knocker being another assassin sent to trail and kill him.

However...

"It’s me... Melinda."

Jayden’s mind settled the moment he heard that, and he heaved a sigh of relief and went ahead to open the door, keeping the knife away.

"Good evening, sir," Melinda smiled at him as he gave a striking look.

She was wearing an armless dress that showed the top of her boobs, shiny and moist. Jayden couldn’t help but stare twice.

"Mel, ummm... why are you here? How did you know I am here?" he asked her with his brows slightly furrowed, but calm.

"Uhm, I... I actually heard about what happened. It was announced that you were in that car, so Reece and I were keeping in touch until the chopper came. Someone told me he saw the same car driving towards Seaman District, and I remembered you lived here, so..."

"Ah, oh... I get it," Jayden smiled as he nodded.

"Umm, just wanted to know how you feel after the incident. You have been a wonderful person to me... my helper, and I just couldn’t hold the panic when I heard about it," Melinda said, her face darkened.

Jayden understood, but he just nodded and patted her on the shoulder.

"Okay, please come in."

When Melinda came in, he had to get something to drink. He had made sure to do some basic cleanup, and there were some drinks available.

She had a long convo with him and soon they were laughing and vibing as the chat went on.

Melinda insisted on cooking, but Jayden urged her not to bother, that he would do that same night.

She tried her best to show some care, and it was already becoming more than just friends or helper at that point.

Sure, Mel had a small body, but it was as charming as that of an otherworldly beauty goddess. Jayden had to say that inwardly, but he was swallowing repeatedly at that point.

Before long, it got to a point where silence enveloped the room, and it was just the both of them staring right at each other with blank expressions.

Melinda didn’t look away, bold, as her eyes struck hard. She visibly looked like a woman on a mission, because how the fuck would a woman who just wanted to visit someone who had an accident be wearing an armless dress that left almost half of her breasts exposed?

There was an allowance on the dress that left more than half of her right leg exposed as well... not immorally, but just charming.

Jayden just didn’t know when he approached her, as the dickhead that he was, settling next to her and launched himself forward to catch her lips.

Turns out that the other party was actually dying for this moment...

She grabbed him by the side of his head and embraced his kiss with the bottom of her heart.

There was no way she was resisting this man when it had always been her dream to kiss those charming lips of his.

Now was the time, and it was a dream come true.

Yes, and it was in a rush.

Melinda really wanted something sweeter than his lips. Something she had been craving since the moment she met him but had been holding back.

Today was just that dream-achieving day.



"Let me repay you for what you have done for me. Just this once," Melinda said, as she completely undressed herself and...

She was on top of him in a moment, enjoying the pleasure that she had really been dying to feel from him.

All this while, she had just been waiting for Jayden to approach her.

It never happened, and at one point she thought he never found her attractive.

She thought she was never beautiful, even though the mirror said otherwise. Or maybe she just thought she had been taking herself as a beautiful woman when she really wasn’t.

But this moment... this point...

All those thoughts had died.

The dismay of Jayden taking Harper over her.

The despair of him not even talking to her romantically for a single day.

It had all been straight, official conversations... and this was the first time it hadn’t gone that way.

And now, she was going to make good use of her golden opportunity.

After their moment of intimacy, Melinda was deep asleep when Jayden checked his watch and realised it was 8:45 PM.

He now had to go, before it got too late.

When she woke up, she quickly spotted it and read.

Melinda, not knowing the best reaction to that, only blinked and kissed the paper like she was with him.

But then, when they were about to go find him again, he arrived.

"Oh my god, where the hell have you been?"

Temi quickly rushed to give him a tight hug, and the other ladies didn’t waste a second as well, all six of them covering him with their sexy yet elegant bodies, glad that they hadn’t lost their man today.

"Just trying not to get killed," Jayden muttered.

"We made our research... King Arthur sent them. Kael to be precise. They are his men," Temi said.

"I know," Jayden replied with a nod.

"It’s not the end. They want me dead and would keep coming for me," he added.

"They would keep coming for Jayden Cole," Camilia corrected with a slight smile.



"Right. Why not just stay in Dominion Island for the time being? Until we kill that bastard?" Harper asked, her voice tense.

"Because I have unfinished business with Jayden Cole’s enemies," Jayden said as he walked over to the TV.

"Who, Gregory? You are actually going to deal with him when you become President," Becky said.

"Well, not Gregory..." Jayden cut in as he glanced at them.

"His son," then Paula, who was his classmate, finished the statement, and Jayden nodded. "That son of a bitch made the professor manipulate Jayden’s Final Exam Results."

The ladies gasped in shock.

Then in a moment, another figure interrupted, as she stepped out from another room.

"Guess what? I just figured out a way to make the invisibility mask last for an hour!"

It was Charlotte.
