40: Chapter 41: Silver Horn!

Monkey King readily agreed to carry King Silver Horn, bent down to hoist him onto his back, and began to walk forward.

King Silver Horn, lying on Monkey King's back, secretly gloated, believing his scheme had succeeded, and remained motionless.

He quietly waited for the right moment, intending to secretly cast a Spell to subdue Monkey King.

Carrying the demon, Monkey King walked with steady steps, speaking as he went with a mocking tone.

"Old Daoist, your frame is certainly not light. Tell me, why couldn't you just stay in your proper Daoist temple instead of running off into these deep mountains? Now that you've ended up in this state, isn't that just asking for trouble?"

King Silver Horn feigned weakness and replied feebly.

"Master, you jest. It was truly an accident—I encountered a fierce tiger. If I hadn't met you, Master, my old bones would likely have been buried in these deep mountains."

"Is that so?" Monkey King sneered, his tone suddenly turning cold.

"I don't think you encountered a tiger; I think you were waiting here specifically to trick my Master and eat Tang Seng's flesh, right? You wicked demon, your performance is quite convincing, but unfortunately, while you might fool my Master, you cannot fool my Fiery Eyes!"

Upon hearing this, King Silver Horn shuddered, shocked that his scheme had already been seen through by Monkey King.

He forced himself to remain calm and said with a trembling voice.

"Monkey Master, you—you must not spout nonsense. I am a respectable Daoist; how could I be a demon? You must not wrong an innocent person!"

"Wrong you?" Monkey King laughed heartily and paused his steps.

"You wicked demon, stop putting on an act! Let me ask you this: if you are a Daoist in distress, why is Demonic Qi swirling around your body? And why did you specifically insist that I carry you? It is clear you have ill intentions and want to strike at me from the shadows!"

Tang Seng, listening from the side, was completely confused and hurriedly stepped forward to mediate.

"Wukong, stop spouting nonsense! This Daoist is clearly a good person in distress; how can you call him a demon? Stop joking around and carry the Daoist properly so we can continue our journey."

"Master, you are a Mortal with limited vision; you cannot see that this is the trickery of a demon!" Monkey King said urgently.

"This is King Silver Horn from Lotus Cave in disguise! He is here specifically to deceive you, wanting to capture you and eat your flesh. You must not let him fool you!"

Seeing this, King Silver Horn immediately burst into loud sobs and wailed to Tang Seng.

"Master, you must uphold justice for me! I sought help in good faith, yet I am slandered as a demon by this Monkey Master. I am wronged! I am old and severely injured; how could I possibly be a demon?"

Tang Seng was inherently kind-hearted, and after hearing King Silver Horn's tearful plea, his heart immediately softened. He turned and scolded Monkey King.

"Wukong, you are being completely unreasonable! This Daoist is so pitiful, yet you keep slandering him. If you dare to spout such nonsense again, don't blame your Master for reciting the Band-Tightening Spell!"

Seeing his Master unable to distinguish right from wrong, Monkey King was both angry and anxious, but felt helpless. He could only continue carrying King Silver Horn and walk forward, secretly plotting in his heart.

"Since Master refuses to listen to reason again, I will find an opportunity to dash this wicked demon against the jagged rocks and eliminate the threat once and for all!"

King Silver Horn, lying on Monkey King's back, knew clearly that since his identity had been exposed, he could not delay any longer. He immediately formed hand seals in secret, chanted incantations, and unleashed a Spell to move mountains and drain seas.

He muttered words, formed hand seals, and pointed toward the sky. In an instant, dark clouds churned in the sky, the earth shook violently, and a towering Mount Sumeru appeared out of thin air, descending straight from the sky to crush down upon Monkey King's head!

Monkey King was plotting to dash the demon to death when he suddenly sensed a pressure bearing down from above. He looked up, his expression changing in alarm, and hurriedly tried to dodge, but Mount Sumeru moved with incredible speed and instantly crushed down onto his left shoulder.

"You wicked demon, you actually dare to use a mountain-moving Spell!" Monkey King gritted his teeth, supporting the weight. With his shoulder pinned by Mount Sumeru, he stumbled, yet he still forced himself to stand.

"You're still too green if you think you can pin me down!"

Seeing this, King Silver Horn's eyes turned malicious. He formed hand seals and chanted again, and another mountain, Mount Emei, descended from the sky, crashing heavily onto Monkey King's right shoulder.

With two great mountains pressing down on him, Monkey King shuddered, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. His legs trembled slightly, but he still held firm and shouted sternly.

"Wicked demon, even with two mountains, you still cannot crush me!"

"Then I'll add another one!" King Silver Horn roared. He chanted the incantation a third time, summoning Mount Tai, the chief of the Five Sacred Mountains, from the sky to crash down fiercely onto Monkey King's head!

The three great mountains—Mount Sumeru, Mount Emei, and Mount Tai—all pressed down upon Monkey King. A force of ten thousand jun struck instantly, and Monkey King could no longer support the weight.

His knees slammed into the ground, causing the earth to crack and fissure. He felt his very soul convulsing and blood gushing from his seven orifices. His entire body ached in agony, and he was pinned firmly under the mountains, unable to move, without even the strength to lift an arm.

"Wukong!" Seeing this, Tang Seng was terrified, his Soul Flying Away and Spirit Scattering. He hurriedly rushed forward, wanting to move the mountains, but how could the strength of a Mortal shake three divine mountains? He could only stand by and call out in anxiety.

King Silver Horn jumped off Monkey King's back and revealed his true form. His Demonic Qi surged, and he laughed heartily at Tang Seng.

"Tang Seng, you Mortal monk, today you have fallen for my scheme. Monkey King is pinned under the mountains and can no longer protect you. You might as well obediently come with me to Lotus Cave and wait to be eaten!"

With that, King Silver Horn waved his hand, and the band of minor demons hiding in the dense forest rushed out, brandishing weapons and surrounding Tang Seng.

Ao Lie stepped forward instantly, his Immortal Qi surging. Although he would not use his Shadow Power, he still gave his all to protect Tang Seng.

But King Silver Horn's cultivation was profound, and the minor demons were numerous; the two could hardly resist. In just a moment, Ao Lie was surrounded by the demons. After some entanglement, he was ultimately outnumbered, captured by the demons, and trussed up.

Ao Lie had tried to single-handedly resist King Silver Horn, but the disparity in strength was vast. After only a few moves, he was struck in the chest by King Silver Horn, flew backward, spat blood, and fell to the ground. The minor demons swarmed forward and finally bound Ao Lie tightly.

Tang Seng was so frightened his legs went weak; he collapsed to the ground and was easily captured by the minor demons.

King Silver Horn looked at the captured Tang Seng, Ao Lie, and Sand Monk, and then looked at Monkey King, who was pinned under the mountains and unable to move, and laughed toward the sky.

"Big Brother, your younger brother has succeeded! The entire party of Tang Seng has been captured, and we can finally eat Tang Seng's flesh!"

The minor demons cheered and jumped for joy, escorting Tang Seng, Ao Lie, and Sand Monk as they headed happily toward Lotus Cave.

Monkey King, pinned under the three great mountains, watched helplessly as his Master and Junior Brother were captured. He was anxious and furious, struggling with all his might. But under the immense weight of the three mountains, he could not move in the slightest; he could only let out angry roars, yet ultimately, he was powerless.

Escorted by the minor demons, Ao Lie looked back at Monkey King, who was pinned under the mountains. He was extremely anxious in his heart but helpless. He secretly channeled his power, wanting to break free from the ropes and use his Shadow Power to save them. But he feared exposing his identity, attracting the attention of the Heavenly Court and the Western Heaven, destroying years of endurance in an instant. He could only force himself to endure it, thinking to himself.

"Senior Brother, you must hold on. I will definitely find a way to break free and save you and Master!"
