193: Chapter 197 Spell Immunity? Then let's try this giant saw.

Inside the main cabin of the Federation Inspector's Great Flagship.

The holographic 3D board that had been suspended in mid-air, displaying the calculation model for a lethal Arcane Torrent, was now emitting a stuttering sizzle.

The High Elf Governor's face, which had maintained an air of elegant coldness for centuries, twisted into a contorted mess as he watched the lethal Lances slide harmlessly down that black, bulky armor, leaving behind only a trail of fermented, foul-smelling white smoke.

In all his long life, having slaughtered over a hundred low-to-mid-tier civilizations, he had never seen such a rogue, inanimate object in the system's vast database—one that could forcibly insulate itself physically even from concept-level psionics!

"Reset the anchor points! Max out the final seven crystallized light shields! All battle mage arrays, prepare—!"

The Governor smashed the pure energy cup in his hand, his roar raspy and out of tune.

But such last-minute remedial orders, at a lethal distance of less than two kilometers, were an entire Epoch too late for a thirty-meter giant mechanical knight charging at full speed, completely unrestricted by any recoil or counter-traction spells.

Li Cang sat in the secure command chair of the Exile Fortress.

The panoramic tactical screen presented the violent, first-person rampage of the knight mecha unreservedly before his eyes.

He didn't touch the complex electronic hacking panel on the console; instead, he used one hand to slam the lever representing the iron behemoth's thrust all the way down to the overload assault button, which was marked with a nuclear explosion skull.

"My massive hunk of several hundred tons of raw-cast, poison-painted thick iron plating..."

Li Cang looked at the front face of the elven mothership, which was still desperately stacking defensive light waves, and let out a cold laugh.

"Even if I just let out a fart in its direction, it's not something your few pieces of brittle glass covers can block."

In space, the Starfall Heavy Executioner Knight made no evasive maneuvers.

Accompanied by the near-suicidal explosive roar of several additional solid rocket boosters on its back.

Its hill-heavy body, emitting pungent thick smoke, carried an absolute, brutal physical kinetic energy belonging only to a heavy industrial meat grinder.

It slammed head-on into the seven-layer Composite Crystallized Light Shields that had just risen, which were claimed to be able to withstand a barrage of meteorites!

BOOM!!

The terrifying, teeth-aching sound of intense compression and shattering formed visible ripples in the vacuum's gravitational field.

In the microseconds the elegant magic light shields touched that layer of anti-magic sludge black paint, they were like ice meeting glowing charcoal—dissolving and corroding away completely without even generating a counter-force.

Then, the four layers of sturdy physical deflection shields were ruthlessly crushed by the pure tens of thousands of tons of heavy metal combined with the massive momentum of the knight mecha!

The various induction needles binding Recruit Number One to the throne were frantically transmitting the numbing, stinging backlash of the impact to his brain.

But this pain only drove him further into madness.

"Break!"

Accompanied by a distorted roar from the voice modulator, the monster's thick right arm rose.

The eleven-barreled giant Macro-cannon, which had been holding its fire in the breach, recklessly unleashed a full salvo at a distance of less than five meters from the remaining two shields!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Tens of thousands of extended depleted uranium heavy armor-piercing rounds, like an inverted black metal waterfall, instantly plowed the remaining light shields and the hundred-million-cost front armor plate of the elven flagship into a scorched, spinning, high-temperature mess of a scrap-iron pit.

The moment this defensive layer was brutally blasted open.

The knight's left-mounted, dozens-of-meters-long, high-frequency tearing Chainsword with its roaring adamantine teeth, carrying the madness of cutting through stellar debris, slashed directly inside with a horizontal cleave!

Chiiiiii—!

This mindless killing machine, born specifically to destroy super-large vehicles, followed the massive breach and, without any resistance, tore through the bridge's outer wall and half the pressurized defensive layer of this magnificent Federation Capital Ship like slicing through cardboard, ripping open a terrifying, hundred-meter-long, bottomless canyon that sprayed blue energy fluid from various high-grade conduits!

High-pressure air let out a shrill, desperate shriek as it vented into the vacuum through the hole.

The ornate halls inside the bridge, filled with art treasures from thousands of years of heritage, were instantly engulfed and swallowed by the explosion's shockwave and thick, vulgar, sulfurous black toxic smoke.

Before those elven mages could even crawl up from the dizzying internal bleeding caused by the explosion.

Over a hundred Warhammer standard drop-pod iron coffins used the massive breach to crash directly into the wreckage of the main command hall without a single miss!

The hatches slammed onto the floor.

Three thousand Astartes men, their bodies similarly coated in that insulating, foul-smelling black paint and their muscles mutated like black iron tower demons, surged out into the ruins—now devoid of gravity and defense fields—like a pack of beasts that had been starved for centuries and finally escaped their cages!

There was no room for talk, and no leeway for negotiations to keep them as prisoners to sell back for system ransoms!

Li Cang only wanted resources and to strip the big components.

A High Elf Royal Guard Archmage, dressed in magnificent robes and just about to chant a so-called ultimate Grand Space Distortion spell.

Before even half the words could escape his beautiful throat.

An Astartes wielding a Chainsword had already crushed the obstructive white jade table beside him with a heavy boot, his massive frame closing the distance in a single step.

A crude, large hand grabbed forward.

Carrying the unreasonable, high-frequency bone-crushing brute force of Warhammer.

The Archmage's great staff, inlaid with hundreds of pounds of expensive mana cores, along with his costly head, were instantly crushed into a mess of blue blood and red-and-white pulp!

The slaughter was an absolute one-sided massacre.

These enforcers of civilization, who had relied on advanced calculations and comfortable casting distances for tens of thousands of years, were even worse than indigenous legion defensive lines when their magical gates were completely breached and they were faced with an utterly irrational, heavy-axe, iron-clad melee.

In just five minutes.

The entire main brain room of the Federation's supposedly never-falling High Governor's Flagship.

Became a scene of devastation, with rolling entrails and severed limbs plastered so firmly against the ceiling that they couldn't even be scraped off—a bloody slaughterhouse.

That profound and arrogant High Governor.

Had his limbs and abdomen pierced by the Power Swords of three Astartes Recruits, pinned like a tattered toad against the wall panel of his high-and-mighty command console that symbolized his authority.

He was still helplessly and desperately vomiting large chunks of blue blood.

Li Cang didn't look at his dying state.

He moved the cursor on the console, locking onto the Regional High-Level Bounty Tracking Main Base Core Array Pillar that was still frantically emitting tracking signals from amidst the pile of corpses.

"That's over ten million genesis points, plus the scrap resources from dismantling dozens of defensive lines."

He coldly pressed the confirmation button for total recovery.

"Tear down that conspicuous tracking radar pole first, pull it out root and all. Then clear out all the refined high-mana ore warehouses hidden in the lower decks of this hull."

"Leave nothing behind; I'm poor."
