418: Chapter 418 A gentle knock on the door of truth, and all ships go dark, extinguishing the starlight.

In the pitch-black, deep silence of the dead star region, piercing grayish-white cold light interlaced into a massive web with no blind spots. A million energy cannon muzzles hummed in the Void Realm, and the plasma arcs overflowing during charging were like deep blue venomous snakes slithering across the armored surfaces of those perfectly geometric warships.

A thick scent of ozone mixed with the metallic rust of mechanical operation filled the area blockaded by the Truth Fleet to the brim.

Zhou Wannian stood on an invisible void staircase, his washed-out azure cloth robe fluttering backward in the astral winds of surging energy. He lowered his head slightly, his gaze wandering, and his right hand, suspended in mid-air, had already formed a knocking gesture.

The knuckles of his index and middle fingers protruded slightly, aimed at the massive Black Tetrahedral Obelisk that lay across the sea of stars, as enormous as a primordial divine mountain.

"Target refuses to comply with commands. Physical erasure program initiated. Countdown beginning."

The massive glowing sphere at the core of the Mechanical Mothership flashed frantically, and the emotionless synthetic voice turned into physical waves, crashing against the three-foot Domain around Zhou Wannian, stirring up a ring of fine halos.

Zhou Wannian ignored the countdown.

He looked at the black wall ahead, as smooth as a mirror and capable of swallowing even light. His wrist sank slightly, carrying the Absolute Mass tempered by the Great Perfection Space Law, and he thrust it forward plainly.

His knuckles landed on the surface of the black obelisk, which claimed to suppress dimensions and lock down all physical constants.

At the moment of contact, there was no deafening roar, nor was there a world-shaking energy explosion.

In this vacuum, sound was completely stripped away, replaced by a tooth-aching "crack" that acted directly on the depths of the Divine Soul.

Zhou Wannian's two knuckles rested seemingly lightly against the pure black mirror surface of the obelisk. Between the warm flesh and the cold High-dimensional Alloy, a physical interaction occurred that defied the common logic of the Universe.

The massive computing power inside the obelisk, sufficient to support the operation of an entire Higher Major Thousand World, came to an instantaneous halt at this moment.

The Truth Codes hidden beneath the black armor, used to anchor spatial coordinates, began to run frantically, attempting to analyze and neutralize the force transmitted through the knuckles.

However, no matter how fast the abacus beads were flicked, they could not calculate a value with no upper limit.

On Zhou Wannian's knuckles, that pure physical mass collapsed into a microscopic singularity at the point of contact. This force, so heavy it made dimensions wail, brutally tore through the surface tension of the obelisk.

A tiny white crack quietly emerged where Zhou Wannian's knuckles had tapped.

On this flawless tetrahedron representing absolute rules, the crack appeared particularly eye-catching. It was like a drop of thick ink falling into a calm lake, instantly shattering all balance.

"Crack... Crack, crack..."

The sound of shattering began to ring out densely.

The tiny crack spread frantically in all directions, centered on Zhou Wannian's knuckles. In the blink of an eye, the pure black surface of the monument was covered in spiderweb-like, pale white fractures. The mirror-smooth armor plates began to curl outward and crumble.

Fragments of High-dimensional Alloy detached from the main body of the obelisk. After hovering in mid-air for less than half a breath, they were ground into a void finer than dust by the overflowing Absolute Mass.

This ultimate weapon, which the Truth Realm had high hopes for to seal the entrance of the Taiwu Ancestral Court, was as fragile as a piece of low-quality window glass under the casual knocking gesture of this azure-robed scholar.

"The door panel is made quite thick, but it's a bit brittle."

Zhou Wannian withdrew his right hand and shook his fingers, his tone carrying a hint of idle commentary.

Just as he finished speaking—

"Boom!"

The massive Black Tetrahedral Obelisk finally could not withstand the Absolute Mass raging wildly inside and completely collapsed.

There was no fire, no smoke.

A giant object comparable in size to a star shattered into a silent black rainstorm within a ten-thousandth of a breath. The gravitational field the obelisk used to suppress this star region instantly backfired, turning into an invisible wave of transparent mass that swept across the surrounding Void Realm with the force of an overwhelming mountain.

The speed of this wave exceeded the conventional speed of light. It was the direct collapse and reset of spatial curvature.

Bearing the brunt were those Octahedral Flyers floating behind the obelisk, dense as a swarm of bees.

The lethal light of their silver-gray hulls had just lit up in preparation for an attack.

The mass wave brushed past silently.

Tens of thousands of Octahedral Flyers, the moment they were struck by the wave, were like marionettes whose Souls had been snatched away, coming to a sudden halt in the Void Realm.

They did not explode, nor did they disintegrate.

However, the precision geometric circuits and micro-energy matrices operating inside instantly turned into a pile of scrap metal under this unreasonable physical pressure. The grayish-white lights extinguished at the same time, and the silver-gray hulls lost all luster, turning into pieces of cold, dead space junk.

The wave continued to spread outward, crashing without hindrance into the massive array of Hexahedral Warships behind.

"Warning—Spatial constants experiencing fault collapse—"

"Underlying logic encountering unknown mass coverage—Shield System overloaded—"

Inside those giant cubic warships, piercing alarms blared frantically. The deep blue data circuits on the armor surfaces turned into crimson error codes, flashing and jumping wildly.

The warships attempted to activate anti-gravity engines to counter the mass crushing.

But it was all in vain.

The wave swept through.

Inside those thick energy cannon muzzles, the destructive white light on the verge of firing was forced back, followed by a muffled thud deep within the barrels. The barrels twisted and deformed, and the heavy hexahedral armor caved inward.

One ship after another.

One after another.

This iron flood composed of perfect geometric shapes performed a synchronized collective death before the mass ripples triggered by Zhou Wannian's knock.

The crimson alarm lights flashed for less than half a breath before they all plunged into darkness like candles with their wicks pinched.

Finally, the significantly weakened mass wave struck the massive and complex super mothership at the center of the array.

The massive glowing sphere at the mothership's core suddenly shrank in light, as if someone had punched it squarely in the face. The rhombuses and cones slowly rotating around the sphere emitted piercing jamming sounds in mid-air, and large bursts of blue electrical sparks erupted from where the gears meshed.

"System... fatal error... recalculating variable parameters..."

The mothership's emotionless mechanical synthetic voice became intermittent and filled with static.

It was still trying to use that rigid mathematical model to assign a reasonable numerical explanation to Zhou Wannian's previous action. But in the face of Absolute Mass, all calculations led to a dead end with no solution.

The sphere at the mothership's core flickered a few times, and finally, the piercing white light extinguished completely, carrying with it unwillingness and despair.

The dead star region, which had been as bright as day under the grayish-white cold light, plunged back into pure darkness.

Only one or two electrical sparks occasionally bursting out due to short circuits still told of the brief confrontation that had just occurred here.

An entire full-strength high-dimensional warship group from the Absolute Truth Realm.

Tens of thousands of killing machines.

After Zhou Wannian curled his knuckles and lightly shattered the obstructing obelisk, they didn't even have time to fire a single main cannon before the logic cores of the entire group were shattered by the collapsing mass aftershocks, causing a collective crash.

The Void Realm was filled with floating scrap metal. Those geometric shapes that once emitted a sense of pressure were now like building blocks discarded by a naughty child in a mud pit, lifelessly colliding and tumbling against each other.

Zhou Wannian lowered his hand and dusted the sleeves of his azure robe.

He looked at the silent iron graveyard ahead, and the brilliant smile on his face faded slightly, turning back into his usual lazy and plain appearance.

"Blocking the road at someone's doorstep, and there isn't even a living creature that can breathe. They just sent some scrap metal to set the scene."

Zhou Wannian shook his head and stepped forward, weaving through the piles of floating warship wreckage.

His spotless azure cloth shoes stepped on the void staircase, and the three-foot Domain around him naturally pushed away the metal fragments that came crashing toward him. Those Truth Realm alloys, claimed to be indestructible, would be ground into fine iron powder the moment they touched the edge of the Domain.

He followed the trail left by the collapse of the obelisk and walked deeper.

The void turbulence here had become somewhat frantic due to the shattering of the obelisk. In the darkness, various fine materials flew everywhere, carried by the turbulence.

Zhou Wannian's gaze swept over the scattered fragments of the black obelisk.

Although this thing was brittle, the material did indeed have some tricks to it. To be able to withstand a tap from one of his fingers before shattering, it must have contained some core object used to anchor space.

He slowed his pace, and his Divine Soul perception spread out in all directions like spilled mercury.

A moment later.

Zhou Wannian stopped before a massive black fragment.

This fragment was the very center of the obelisk, with some broken optical fibers and twisted metal brackets still attached. In the center of the fragment, a square slot was recessed, and inside the slot, a palm-sized, damaged nameplate was quietly lodged.

The material of this nameplate was different from the deep pure black of the obelisk; it presented a grayish-green color similar to oxidized bronze, with jagged edges as if it had been brutally snapped off from a larger object.

Zhou Wannian extended his right hand, pressed his two fingers together, and made a pulling motion from a distance.

The grayish-green damaged nameplate detached from the slot and drifted lightly into his palm.

As the nameplate entered his hand, it didn't have the cold, rigid feel of high-dimensional machinery; instead, it carried a hint of the stale, ancient vicissitudes of time.

Zhou Wannian looked down.

With the help of the faint electrical arcs occasionally flashing from the surrounding wreckage, he saw clearly what was carved on the nameplate.

It was not the binary code commonly used by the Truth Realm, nor was it any regular geometric pattern.

Carved upon it was an ancient, complex, and strangely patterned texture that exuded an indescribable sense of majesty. If a Mortal were to catch even a glimpse of these patterns, their Divine Soul would be directly burst by the amount of information contained within.

These were Divine Scripts that only the most ancient Innate Gods and Demons from the birth of the Universe would use.

Zhou Wannian looked at the crooked patterns, and his mind automatically translated these Divine Scripts into understandable meanings.

In his eyes, which were usually as calm as still water, a playful glint gradually emerged.

On the damaged nameplate, there were only a few lonely words.

"Experimental Observation Post No. 001."

Although the handwriting was fragmented, the arrogance and coldness revealed in every stroke crossed endless years to pierce directly into one's heart.

Zhou Wannian gently rubbed the uneven Divine Scripts with the pad of his thumb.

This nameplate was clearly not something those "tin cans" from the Truth Realm could create. The aura of the ancient Divine Scripts on it shared the same withered and desolate qualities as the aura emanating from the interior of the Taiwu Ancestral Court.

"Experimental Observation Post..."

Zhou Wannian softly repeated these words and gave a light chuckle.

The Truth Realm's fleet used this nameplate carved with ancient Divine Scripts, embedding it into their proud black geometric obelisks to serve as core anchors for blockading dimensions.

What did this indicate?

It indicated that this nameplate, or rather the massive building to which this nameplate originally belonged, possessed an absolute majesty that suppressed the Laws of this starry sky. The Truth Realm had merely borrowed a piece of broken brick or tile scavenged from the ruins, covered it in a mechanical shell, and dared to come here to block the road.

And the text on this nameplate revealed an even more absurd piece of information.

The Taiwu Ancestral Court, a place regarded as a forbidden zone for life by countless high-dimensional powers, and a place where the Truth Realm had spent ten billion units of world Origin to calculate defensive vulnerabilities.

Countless eons ago, in the era when those ancient Divine Scripts were still in use.

It was actually just the "Experimental Observation Post No. 001" of some power?

Merely a peripheral outpost used for observation and experiments.

Zhou Wannian looked up, his gaze passing over the warship wreckage floating all around, peering into the far reaches of the Void Realm. There, the gray mist on the periphery of the Taiwu Ancestral Court was like a lingering shadow in the darkness.

Earlier in the wine shop, he had seen through the Star Map that a precision death trap had been laid inside the mist, and he had thought the old residents inside were guarding against something.

Now it seemed that this pool of water was even deeper than he had imagined.

Those abacus-clackers from the Truth Realm ran to the outside of someone's experimental outpost to pick through trash and even set up a cordon to act like big shots. Meanwhile, the guys inside treated these ruins as a fortress for hiding filth, even digging pits all over the entrance.

"Taking other people's leftover trash as treasure and truly considering themselves the masters of this starry sky."

Zhou Wannian casually tossed the grayish-green damaged nameplate aside.

The nameplate tumbled a few times in mid-air, fell into a patch of void turbulence, and was instantly sliced into powder.

Having learned the Origin of this thing, the broken piece of iron lost its value to stay in his hand. He had not the slightest interest in what kind of experiments others were doing here back then; he was just a leisurely passerby out for a stroll.

It was just that now, this leisurely person had his path blocked by a pile of trash and his peaceful dreams disturbed by a bunch of flies.

Zhou Wannian placed his hands behind his back and stepped onto the wreckage of those Hexahedral Warships, continuing toward the mist.

In the surrounding Void Realm, the Truth Fleet, whose cores had been shattered, still drifted silently.

But this did not mean the Truth Realm would let the matter rest.

Although the massive super mothership had extinguished all its lights, in its deepest part, within the independent black box protected by heavy armor, a fragment of physical parameters regarding Zhou Wannian's knocking gesture was being desperately compressed and encrypted, attempting to penetrate this disturbed star region and be sent back to the Absolute Truth Realm's Highest Matrix.

Zhou Wannian naturally sensed that data fluctuation, which was so weak it almost didn't exist.

He did not turn back to pull up the roots.

He walked through this iron graveyard, his azure robe drifting through the gaps in the wreckage.

"Go and report."

Zhou Wannian's calm voice drifted through the cold vacuum.

"Call a few more tin cans over. I've only just reached out my hand and the door broke; it's really not satisfying enough."

He walked past the fragment of an Octahedral Flyer, his spotless azure cloth shoes stepping into the void as he headed toward the increasingly close gray mist that exuded endless silence and eeriness.

The road ahead was no longer a simple journey.

The layers of killing intent hidden behind the mist, and that ancient grudge spanning across eons.

After the azure-robed scholar's casual knock, the great curtain was slowly rising.
