32: Chapter 32 Save My Brother

Su Bai spoke up:

"During this time, we will split up."

"I will be responsible for lighting the oil barrels. Ma Lie, take Zhao Ding and the others, and be responsible for creating a disturbance near the valley entrance to draw all the guards' attention."

Meanwhile, Ma Lie and the remaining seven men also crept behind a patch of bushes.

"Retreat!"

Watching the flames, a flash of satisfaction crossed Su Bai's eyes.

He then turned and ran into the distance.

The Wolf Demon was so angry smoke was coming out of its seven orifices, but it couldn't spare the time to pursue and kill Su Bai.

The grain being burned was a grave crime; it had to organize firefighting immediately.

But the entire camp was already in complete chaos, and the Wolf Demon alone could not command it.

After Su Bai rendezvoused with Ma Lie and the others, they fled like mad toward Yunzhou City.

Behind them were the soaring flames and the roars of the Yao Race.

They knew that the fury of the 300,000-strong Demon would soon come pouring down.

After the fire started, to avoid being discovered by the Yao Race, Su immediately had Ma Lie take the remaining few back to Yunzhou City, while he stayed behind to cover the retreat, erase tracks, and lure away any Yao Race scouts that might pursue them.

But the next second, he was blocked by Su Bai's words:

"Carry out the order!"

"Take Zhao Ding; he is fading fast. You must return to the city immediately to find an Army Doctor! Return alive and deliver the message!"

Gritting his teeth, Ma Lie felt his eyes heat up as he looked at Su Bai's back. Ultimately, he carried the unconscious Zhao Ding and, taking the remaining men, charged toward Yunzhou City without looking back.

Ma Lie and the other eight men finally saw the outline of Yunzhou City.

They were all ragged, covered in blood and grime.
